The room was alright. It's on the busiest street, with tons of restaurants and pubs, so expect some noise, especially on weekends. The kitchen's a bit of a mess, with stains on the stuff, and the fridge is packed. But hey, the price is super cheap, so you can't expect too much. It's good if you just need a place to crash.

The environment is top-notch: The public areas and overall decor are very stylish, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for photos.
The hygiene is excellent: The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was fresh, and there were no unpleasant odors, making for a very comfortable stay.
Front desk service was average: The staff at check-in were a bit cold and didn't offer greetings or explanations proactively. It was pretty much a 'self-service' experience. If you prioritize hardware and hygiene, you can book this place without hesitation. However, if you highly value service experience, you might be a little disappointed.
This place is perfect for solo travelers. You often face all sorts of issues like finding food, drinks, and entertainment when traveling alone, but everything here is taken care of. Plus, there are lots of robots, and the price is very affordable. Among all the mainstream travel agencies, this one is excellent. The service attitude is fantastic and very welcoming. It's highly recommended for a relaxing stay, whether you're a solo female traveler or traveling with friends.
The room is clean and tidy. It is an old house with a small balcony where you can enjoy the street view. Although the room is small, it is OK for one person to live in. There is a refrigerator, a kettle, a small TV, and a small table. The public bathroom is also kept very clean, and there is a super large kitchen.
The only problem is that there is no air conditioning. The temperature is 35 during the day, and the room is a bit stuffy at night. On the second night, I didn't sleep much. The electric fan has 2 gears, either big or small, and I dare not sleep with the balcony door open.
It's my first time staying in a youth hostel, and I'm not used to it. The attitude of the staff is super good. The girl at night and the big sister in the morning are very enthusiastic.

City is perfectly central
Clean and quiet overall
The kitchen is underground, so it doesn't sound good.
Sometimes I hear the noise on the street at night.
Recommended to stay on a trip, but it's just a little expensive

A nice hostel not too far from Perth city center. Good things I liked:
- Comfortable mattress, with a small curtain for a little privacy
- Staffs were nice and helpful
- common areas, kitchen, and showers/toilets were cleaned daily
- Plus point: Breakfast included (simple toasts with peanut butter/Jam/choc spread)
- Free coffee and tea (not the best quality but ok)
- near bus stop and grocery (Woolworths)
Not so good things:
- rooms are quite cramped
- no signage outside, bit confusing & hard to find for first timers
- Most of the furniture and kitchen facilities are quite old
- front porch & yard seems messy & unaesthetic
- Price-to-quality ratio: ok
The free breakfast, nice & helpful staff, kitchen space and social areas make this hostel recommendable. However, needs for hostel signage & revamping of all spaces & furnitures would make it a highly recommended hostel.
Great location at the heart of Albany, I drove so everywhere accessible, next door is a French patisserie, beautiful food and place.
Good public parking, limited private parking (so dense I must give praise to those who parked).
Despite the older infrastructure, it is well maintained and clean. I like how they ask for feedback.
Good free pancake breakfast, coffee and first 2 slices free.
Receptionist is live in, made it an easy check in at my late arrival.
This place is great good value for money.
But I would think twice before staying here on a Thursday or weekend if you need to sleep which I did. As it’s packed on the weekend and then when pub closed patrons came back to their room and kept partying. When I asked people to shut up I was told basically to “go away” what was most annoying was apparently one of the people making noise worked at the roey. So although I still take the place I just won’t stay on weekends. But overall still good value for money and great service and nice rooms.

GGuest UserThe host was incredibly kind and quick to respond to all my questions and requests.
The accommodation itself was very cozy and comfortable.
Having Cole Mart, cafes, and restaurants all nearby was super convenient.
But the biggest highlight was being able to walk to the beach in under 3 minutes from the accommodation. It was perfect for staying with my 4-year-old child.
AAleksei KleimenovTerrible service! This is the first hotel/motel I've ever been to that didn't accommodate its customers. Australia never ceases to amaze me, in the worst sense of the word. The situation was this. We were planning to drive from Norseman to Lucky Bay (near Esperance) to see kangaroos and swim in the ocean, and then check into the hotel at around 8 p.m. But the motel confronted me with a fait accompli: check-in is strictly from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.!!! Not an hour later! Otherwise, they won't give you the keys, and you'll be sleeping on the street. I physically didn't have time to drive such a long distance, stop at Lucky Bay, and check into the motel before 6 a.m., which I've repeatedly written in private messages about. No response! The answer was the same: if I don't make it, they won't give me the keys. I called the management and asked them to accommodate me, leave the keys in the box, explaining that I was a tourist, my first time in Australia, and would probably never come back, that I wouldn't have time to see the kangaroos at Lucky Bay. The motel management turned a deaf ear to my requests. Unfortunately, it was impossible to book another hotel. These people at the hotel are completely incompetent! Where has anyone ever seen a motel that only allows occupancy for such a short period of time?! I hope trip.com support takes appropriate action.
GGuest UserWe made a last-minute addition of Albany to our Western Australia trip, booking the Best Western SureStay just a few days in advance, and it turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise!
The location truly is the biggest highlight – it's close to the city center, with supermarkets and fast-food restaurants nearby. Plus, it's a short drive to the Mount Clarence lookout for sunrise views, which was incredibly convenient for our impromptu itinerary. The room was well-equipped with a fridge and microwave, and generally clean, making it a handy stopover for our short transit.
There were a few minor downsides, though: the room felt a bit dated, the air conditioning was a little noisy, and the bathroom tiles weren't as white as they could be. Also, the TV size didn't quite fit the counter and was a bit tilted. But these are small issues; for a last-minute booking, having these amenities was already quite satisfying. It's a very suitable choice for a transit stopover.
Kkimyap11ample parking spaces; you can park in front of your unit. there is also a bus stop within walking distance on both sides of the road to access the motel. i believe the rooms were recently renovated so everything was in good condition. there are some eateries within walking distance nearby and also a petrol station nearby too. a short bus ride (2 stops) will take you to woolworths for your groceries needs. overall a pleasant stay.

GGuest UserOverall satisfy, we just have a short stay, nothing much to comment. Forget to take the room photo. But actual as per the description and image shown.
Just little comment, the motel only provides soap (small one), shampoo and conditioner, all in one set, not good for use. We have two, but only one set provided.
