Very pleasant establishment. Clean room, friendly staff, good food for a dinner takeout and breakfast the next morning.
We came in around 8pm from long ride and was greeted with a smile and an offer for takeout dinner from the restaurant on sight when it closed at 9pm.
Room was clean, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable beds with warm bedding, good working A/C and a beautiful balcony view, all reasonably priced.
Breakfast next morning was friendly, accommodating, fresh and better than a typical hotel included breakfast. Wonderful restaurant atmosphere and design!
Would definitely recommend though we r from NY in US.

It was unclear to me when I booked online that a “physical” credit card was required to use for a damage deposit.
*I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home.
(I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me).
The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱
I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱
It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental.
SO…beware travellers!!

QiaokelibabamamaThis retro wooden house hotel is one of the best accommodations in Badek Town. It is a 5-minute walk to the town center. It is opposite to the supermarket and convenience store. It is within walking distance to the Bell Museum and Lake Brador Pier. It is very convenient to drive by car on the Cabot Ring Road. Free open-air parking spaces, RVs and domestic cars are parked without pressure.
The building is a typical Atlantic coast retro Victorian style, the overall atmosphere is full, the room retains retro soft furnishings, fabric furniture, the bed is soft and sleeps well, and the room type with a separate balcony can sit and drink coffee. It has its own restaurant and bar, mainly local seafood simple meals, lobster rolls, seafood soup are delicious. There is a self-service laundry room on the first floor.
Old buildings have no elevator, high-rise rooms are inconvenient to carry luggage; room WiFi signal is weak; room cleaning standards are based, only towels are replaced, garbage is cleared, and there is less deep cleaning; breakfast is a paid a la carte, and we are not open when we live; Old-fashioned sound insulation is average, you can hear the sound of walking upstairs, and the bathroom has no exhaust.

If you are planning on doing the Cabot Trail, and not starting in Sydney, this is a great place to stay before you start the drive. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the on-site laundry was great - it saved us a lot of time trying to find one in the next few days.
The owner was very helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip so far, with lots of fresh fruit.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The place was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Parking and Wi-Fi were both excellent. The highlight was definitely the breakfast—you order it the night before by scanning a QR code, and in the morning it’s ready to pick up. It was generous, delicious, and really well prepared. The host was also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

i was a little bit reluctant because of the low rating in google, but when we had our stay there, it wasnt bad at all. the only thing that id say wasnt really good was the breakfast. not much to choose from, and the poor taste of coffee. Nevertheless, for its price, id stay here again.

I always have a good experience at this motel. It is just down the road from my daughter’s home so very convenient. It is comfortable and cozy. My room was a housekeeping unit so would be convenient for a longer stay to cook a few meals in the unit.
The bed was very comfortable.

Excellent location right at the core of the city. Close to all local attractions. The shared kitchen was especially amazing and the fully automated system made everything super easy. Clean and spacious room. Was a great stay and would highly recommend!
