Iilonka-zExcellent hotel location. The fully equipped kitchen, ironing board with iron, and hairdryer are all available. If you need anything, you can contact staff via WhatsApp, and it will be delivered quickly. The room was clean and spacious. Nice pool and jacuzzi, plus a well-equipped gym. Upon check-in, we were asked for a 200 RM refundable deposit, but only in cash. We had a pleasant stay.
DDarth.Great location in George Town — easy access to food and nearby attractions. The unit was clean, modern, and comfortable for a short stay. Check-in was smooth and overall it’s good value for money.
Minor downside is the space can feel a bit compact, but still a pleasant stay overall.
KKelunLayout is nice and comfortable. The kids love it. I like the drawers provided under the beds. Initially I was worried about lack of a cabinet for clothes. Water dispenser is very well used by us. Plenty of power sockets near the bed.
Swimming pool had a great view. Chlorine taste was crazy strong though. Kids thought the water was salty.
Biggest gripe is that this place is too popular. 4 lifts serving the 30+ levels of patrons are not sufficient. During peak periods like meal, arrival or checkout timings, we waited more than 15mins to get into the lift.
Overall very pleasant stay.
CCHIAN HAWUrban Suites provides basic amenities like a kettle, towels, and 2-in-1 hair & body shampoo. There is also a washing machine available, which is convenient for longer stays. It also has an exceptionally good night view from rooftop 42 level.
Check in was easy, carpark is easy to navigate as well.
However, there are several areas that could be improved:
1. Only one ceramic cup was provided, while the rest were plastic cups and plastic bowls.
2. A meat cutting knife was provided, but there was no small fruit knife.
3. The shower head was damaged, causing uneven water flow.
4. The iron was dirty and unusable for ironing clothes.
5. The sofa was too hard and not very comfortable.
6. The worst part was the lift waiting time — during peak hours, waiting for the lift could take 10–15 minutes.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! This apartment is right next to Gleneagles Hospital, and you can walk to Island Hospital in about 5 minutes. The view is absolutely stunning – truly the best! It can accommodate up to 6 people, making it quite cost-effective. 👍👍👍
GGuest UserEasy and clear self check in instructions provided.
Rooms are clean and as described.
Walking distance to gurney paragon.
Comfortable stay, will come back again in future.
GGuest UserThe service apartment is new, but only 4 lift cater for 36 storey, waiting time take too long, we miss the facilities floor. The apartment doesn't come with free parking, carpark is chargeable RM9 per day stay at level 3 to level 10, the carpark ramp is very narrow. Room is clean, but bathroom shower water pressure is too low.
GGuest UserThis hotel was great, very clean, probably because it's newly built. It even has USB ports for charging, which is really convenient. Having a water server in the room was a huge plus. The location is good too, with a bus stop nearby. On the rooftop, there's a pool and a gym. The 11th floor has a play area and a bar counter-like space where you can eat takeout food, and there were even ashtrays for smokers. There's also a convenience store next to the front desk. I'm definitely coming back! Thank you.
CCindy1105NO RECOMMEND!
1. Fan and aircond in the living room are very old.
2. Fan and aircond in the second room also quite old.
3&4 Blanket already torn but still provided for us to use.
5.First toilet got two shampoos, second toilet got one shampoo and one shower gel — how to wash body? Need to share or use shampoo as body wash.
6.Second toilet shower pipe leaking when using.
7. Washing machine cannot be used from third day. They said will come to fix, but need to wait long — end up have to bring clothes home to wash, LOL.
8. Saw baby cockroach inside the unit.
9. Power plug in the room is loose.
10.Toilet and room got no good smell.
Also this,
Not sure if you believe this — my cousin can see ghost. At night or sometimes in midnight, all of us smelled “bunga melati” (jasmine) scent. My cousin, who slept in bedroom 1, heard someone knocking the window loudly. After that, she slept in the living room instead. The smell came again, sometimes very strong and badly — all of us in the kitchen and living room could smell it. Quite creepy!
Maybe because house besides the Hospital!
