GGuest UserI stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

MMariiaKipThe hostel is good cared and clean. I think I saw a housekeeper every time when I went out from my room and she was always cleaning smth. That attitude already says a lot about the place. There is a nice not big common area with TV and we even watched a bit of Titanic, water dispenser with available cold and hot water. The staff is speaking English and they organise different tours around the area. It’s very handy. We took 2 tours with them and enjoyed a lot. One to PingShanHu canyon and another to Colourful Danxia. We also met many good-hearted foreign and local travellers there and made friends with some. Speaking about the room the condition was good enough. We shared one room with my friend. It’s a great value for money. Thank you for the incredible stay!

GGuest User위치를 알면 최고의 숙소인데 , 외국인에겐 다소 어렵다. 중국어를 조금 할 수 있는 나도 1시간가량 헤맸다. 특히 여기쪽 말을 하나도 못알아들어서. 그래도 우여곡절 찾아갔다. 일찍 체크인을 해줘서 감사했다. 그러나 첫인상은 그다지 긍정적이지 않았다. 거실에서 너무 자연스럽게 담배를 피는 손님을 만났다. 그 다음은 숙소가 너무 어두워서 심지어 불을 켜도 그랬다. 낮에도 밤같은. 그렇지만 침대는 아득하고 모든 설비가 있어 편했다. 심지어 작은 접이식 책상까지 ~ 사장님 센스에 감탄했다.
근데 화장실 세면대에는 계속 담뱃재가 있었고 담배냄새로 가득했다. 남녀공용이었는데, 이부분이 힘들었다. 비흡연자에게 담배냄새는 고통이다. 결국 목 안까지 부었다. 담배를 피는 사람들에게 그리고 중국어에 아주 익숙한 사람들에겐 괜찮은 장소이다. 비흡연자 그리고 화장실이 공용인 관계로 여성에게 추천하지 않는다.

GGuest UserThe environment is very new! I'm quite particular about bathroom cleanliness, and this place really delivered. The cleaning staff were very diligent, keeping the toilet and shower sparkling clean and well-maintained overall. There's a public microwave, water dispenser, and refrigerator, which is convenient for buying drinks. They also have an automatic washing machine that you can use with coins, and you can exchange coins at the front desk. The guests generally seem to be well-behaved; everyone in the lobby was quiet and didn't play loud music. Access to the guest room area requires a key card, and guests in the rooms were also considerate, which I appreciate. The bedding was already made up, so I didn't have to do it myself, and it was quite comfortable to sleep in. Overall, I had a great impression; the staff were patient. It's a clean and comfortable option that I'd recommend to everyone.

LLaixiaKunaThis hostel has a real Southeast Asian vibe to it! It's a standalone property with an open-air parking lot. They offer private rooms alongside 4-bed dorms. You'll find everything you need here: a bar, a movie room, musical instruments (handpan, guitar, piano), a reading nook, a laundry room, and even a games room. They also give you complimentary fruit upon check-in. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake.
It was my first time seeing white backpackers in a Chinese hostel; I hadn't encountered that before. Dunhuang and Zhangye are surprisingly international!
My only minor complaint is the lack of public restrooms and showers. It would be great to have them so you wouldn't disturb others when using the facilities.

GGuest UserBean sprout is a traditional building with rooms off a courtyard. The owner and rosewood chairs with cushions warmly welcome you. Communicate is via translator apps. The beds remind me of ikea furnishings with a larger lower bed than the upper twin. The owner organized a very interesting day trip for me to the mts with Buddhas and Danxia colorful earth The women with me communicated via app with German, French and Italian as well as English. Sadly, I caught a cold from the lack of heat for two hours in both directions with the van transport which had very good chairs. The following day the owner helped me realize I had another day to stay and offered to order me breakfast and later a local noodle dish. She also explained to my hotel receptionist how to ship my pj’s to me! I can’t thank her and her husband enough for their hospitality.

Gghl.I loved this hostel for its vibes - really great owners who are informative and helpful, and of course, friendly.
It's literally just outside the main entrance to the museum and fort.
Initially, I thought it would be really remote and out of the way, but I could reach it by public bus from the train station (though some distance away) and there are a number of restaurants around the area that are not just catered to tourists with crazy prices. There's also a restaurant attached to the hostel with good food options.
Good facilities including a laundry area, a kitchen, ice machine (they use bottled water)....

AAnonymous UserYou have to give a 100yuan deposit for the key card. I had trouble with my WeChat not accepting the refund, and when I asked the staff to help, they sighed and got annoyed. Even went as far to say “my head hurts” to nearby customers and other unnecessary stuff in mandarin thinking I couldn’t understand. Like, my head hurts too, I just want the money back that you said you’d refund me. All worked out in the end, but didn’t appreciate the attitude. Also even though this is called a youth hostel, there were many older people staying which led to a weird vibe. Good location and ok for the night but I wouldn’t stay again

AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse has a great location, overlooking the Bailong River. It has its own courtyard, and parking is convenient during the off-season. The rooms have all the necessary amenities and are clean. A short walk away, turning left leads to Langmusi (Gansu), and turning right across a small bridge leads to Langmusi (Sichuan). The street in Langmusi, Sichuan, is quite lively with various restaurants, making dining convenient, including ******* and Sichuan cuisine. The guesthouse owner is very honest and kind. The price for extending the stay the next day was even cheaper than on Ctrip. He helped carry luggage upstairs, provided ample bottled water daily, patiently introduced nearby attractions, and even kindly gave us several bottles of water to take with us on the road. Excellent service, great location, and great price; if you're going to Langmusi Town, feel free to book with him.
