We had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

At night, I can enjoy the evening breeze with good friends and chat about ideals and future in the small courtyard, which makes people feel happy. I came from Shaanxi and planned to go to the Phoenix Legend concert. I saw on the Internet that this hotel is very affordable and has a good environment. I stayed there for one night. Stayed for one night and felt pretty good! I want to say that my thoughts are probably the same as the cabins that you usually stay in when you stay in a youth hostel. This time I felt that there were side curtains when I slept, but the two beds were spread out and I felt that there was no privacy. I was a little uncomfortable. I hope the boss will ask the guests for their opinions and add a track and a curtain above the connection between the two beds. Everything else is quite satisfactory!

A room of about ten square meters. Closing the door isolates you from the city's hustle and bustle. A clean and tidy bed. Bright and spotless windows. Warm, thick slippers and paper cups. Not from a street vendor or some cheap online store. A convenient, pristine white power strip charger gives you a sense of security. Outside the window, the Yellow River flows calmly and clearly, a sight only seen this season. Looking up, you see the landmark White Pagoda Mountain, its desolate, bare branches stretching towards the sky, a harbinger of approaching spring.

The boss is very good, the housekeeper is also very good, after the stay, provided a very detailed play guide, including food recommendations and play guides, according to the boss's guide, did not step on the pit. The girls' bathroom is separate and convenient, but there are people living in it, the things are more mixed, and the boys live in the living room, which is not very convenient. Some also smoke and smell of smoke. . . The floor is relatively high and the view is very good.

I booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

It's a youth hostel in the community, the price/performance ratio is quite high. The boss remotely controlled me to find the location hahaha, it's very considerate. It's just a distribution of several space capsules in one room, and there are different choices, but it will still disturb others. If you want to pursue quietness, it's difficult. The room was very clean, and the beds were individual capsule-style beds with various types of charging ports and plugs, as well as a huge mirror. The bathroom was also very clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a hairdryer, drinking water, and slippers provided. A great experience; young travelers should definitely give it a try.

The hostel has an excellent location, just a short walk to a large commercial area, right next to the subway, making transportation and shopping very convenient. There's a lively pub downstairs that gets busy at night. The owner is warm and thoughtful. It was a great travel experience.
