Dunhuang is just so comfortable, you'll find it hard to leave once you've stayed a while. This place is truly wonderful; I absolutely adore the wind and sunshine on the rooftop. 🥰 I loved it so much that I even found the camel droppings on the road outside naturally charming. ❤️ The hostel is very close to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake. You can see the sand dunes and a sky full of stars from the rooftop. Aunties clean the place daily. There are books to read and movies are screened every night. I hope this hostel stays around forever. Wishing everyone all the best!

This hostel is super easy to find! After getting off at Zhangye Railway Station, I just took the No. 1 bus for 1.5 yuan, got off at the Industrial and Commercial Bank station, and it was a short 300-meter walk. The entrance sign is new and quite impressive, located on the second floor. As soon as I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me with warm smiles – very welcoming and not at all stiff, which immediately made me feel at home. They even had a thoughtful display of various candies, and they were all delicious! Even though I don't usually eat sweets, I found myself grabbing one every time I entered or left. The environment is very clean too. It was a really comfortable stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangye!

If you're traveling solo, staying in a hostel is the absolute best choice (especially for extroverts)! You can genuinely make friends, or even feel like you've found family here! The owner-sister and owner-brother are both super nice! I was so lucky to hitch a ride with the owner-sister in her big off-road vehicle to the desert, and even getting stuck was fun! Sis, you're awesome!

The facilities are complete. My quadruple room had curtains, outlets, a bedside lamp, a desk, chairs, a wardrobe, and air conditioning. There was a separate washroom, and the toilet had paper and a small night light, which was very thoughtful for late-night use. There's also a kitchen where you can cook for 15 yuan, with a fridge and microwave. 🧹 Cleanliness: Very clean and well-maintained. Hope they keep up the good work! 💁 Service: The owners, a brother and sister, are wonderful, with great personalities, very thoughtful and enthusiastic. We even got some snacks sometimes! You can also meet many friends here! This is the true meaning of a youth hostel! There are also two small cats, one acts like a dog and the other is super clingy. I only stayed for one day, it was too short, and I forgot to take photos, so here are a few of the Rainbow Mountains instead.

Stayed for one night and felt pretty good! I want to say that my thoughts are probably the same as the cabins that you usually stay in when you stay in a youth hostel. This time I felt that there were side curtains when I slept, but the two beds were spread out and I felt that there was no privacy. I was a little uncomfortable. I hope the boss will ask the guests for their opinions and add a track and a curtain above the connection between the two beds. Everything else is quite satisfactory!

This trip to Lanzhou brought me a great sense of security because of this folk custom! Absolute surprise, great value for money! The first thing I felt when I entered the room was that it was clean and tidy, and the lady boss was super welcoming ❤️For me, a foreigner, I’m really lucky👍 I’m traveling as a girl, and the sisters I live with are also super nice, so we went together I watched the concert, ate local specialties together, and even made an appointment to check in to Lanzhou together. The landlady also thoughtfully recommended me check-in places and routes. How lucky I am to meet all kinds of people. The accommodation environment is clean and sanitary. The sisters who live with me are all very qualified. They are not noisy or noisy and will not affect your rest. The service provided by the landlady is also good. Believe me, I really recommend this folk custom!

We temporarily increased the price and switched to a river view room. Opposite is the Yellow River and next to the mosque. The location is very good and the transportation is convenient. We basically rely on walking to visit the scenic spots. We have no fault in terms of cleanliness. I am used to staying in star-rated hotels or I don't care about the accommodation. People with high requirements should not stay here. The boss is quite nice and recommended delicious food to us.

I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

The room was very clean, and the beds were individual capsule-style beds with various types of charging ports and plugs, as well as a huge mirror. The bathroom was also very clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a hairdryer, drinking water, and slippers provided. A great experience; young travelers should definitely give it a try.

It's a youth hostel in the community, the price/performance ratio is quite high. The boss remotely controlled me to find the location hahaha, it's very considerate. It's just a distribution of several space capsules in one room, and there are different choices, but it will still disturb others. If you want to pursue quietness, it's difficult.
