Good location friendly staff I don’t like the squat toilet though. Hope they will install western style toilets in the future… haha

There is no need to praise the cleanliness and comfort of this youth hostel, and every guest who stays here is a witness to it. I want to talk about something else this time. Maybe I am not very experienced, but as soon as I entered the store, I was shocked by the large wall of memories. In the past, people were so close to each other, and meeting each other was really a destiny. There is no need to be afraid of being alone, because here you can take good care of each other. After hearing the voices of travelers exchanging messages in several rooms for a few nights, I felt this warmth that I had not felt for a long time. You can sit in the yard and chat casually with strangers, or you can go back to your room and find some quiet. I really like the boss’s plans and attitude towards the youth hostel. Making money is one thing, but providing warmth to everyone is also important. She will control the number of people in each room to ensure that there are not too many people, take care of guests who come in late at night, and listen to your stories if you are willing. I wonder how many of us who live under steel and concrete are like me, not only going out for the scenery along the way, but also wanting to find a little kindness from our fellow human beings in today's cold and indifferent world.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. I loved the communal spaces as well; they were great for unwinding and connecting with other travelers. The hotel’s location is ideal, conveniently situated near popular attractions and public transportation especially the desert (Yue Ya Quan), making it easy to get around the city. The vibrant decor and youthful energy really added to the overall charm of the place.

A great budget-friendly stay in Zhangye! We had a private twin room. The room was simple but cute, with rather hard Asian-style beds (which was fine for us). It's very central and surrounded by food spots and shops. Loved the traveler vibe here; easy to meet friends. The hostel organizes affordable, well-planned tours, and the English-speaking staff were super helpful. Highly recommend for backpackers!

Overall it was good. The bed had an electric blanket to keep warm and dry, and I slept comfortably. There was a parking space at the door, which was very convenient. It only took 5-10 minutes to walk to Gansu Temple and Sichuan Temple. It was a little inconvenient that the public toilet was on the first floor.

I booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

This is a great place to stay while you are in Dunhuang! The location is perfect right in the middle of the night market area and close to transport. The owners are also lovely and super helpful plus they have gorgeous pets to hang with. One thing to note is that they do also live here so the flip side of the beautiful decor and homey environment is that there are restrictions around the hours the common areas are open and they keep a pretty close eye on guests leaving lights on and doors open etc which did make me feel like I needed to tip toe around a little.

Staff are very nice and helpful. Room was clean, and the location is right at the entrance to the scenic area. Please note that there are no busses that reach the hostel from the train station, and you must take a taxi. Nevertheless, I totally recommend this place and would definitely come here again next time!

蘭州東麗大廈美食街，價格是26塊左右一晚上，負一層有很多實惠又好吃的飯菜～10塊錢就可以吃到一葷一素，就像大學食堂，悠然旅舍採光很好，乾淨明亮，老闆娘每天都會拖地打掃房間3個小時左右。這應該是我從景德鎮，廬山，商丘，開封，登封，洛陽，西安，天水，一路走來，採光最好的一家店了，位置很好沒有樓下車輛的噪音～非常安靜開闊，蘭州的山山水水～一目瞭然，盡收眼底！所以你來蘭州玩，不需要住200-300元的大酒店，在這裏大概一天衹需要消費50元，吃住就解決了。不管是找工作，還是旅行，這裏都很方便！
