i saw many positive reviews and was excited to see if it was reality... Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel. The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space) The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in oh also the little cat is so cute !

I woke up early in the morning and saw my aunt cleaning and changing the bedding. The bedding is also very comfortable with the high quality that has just been changed, and there is no discomfort during the stay. Environment: The environment is very beautiful, just like the name ”big city small courtyard”, there is such a relaxing place in Zhengzhou, a fast-paced provincial capital, quiet in the downtown, don't have your own flavor. Service: The boss sister is super good, patient and will bartending, chatting with her is very comfortable like her own big sister, coming here as if she is home, hehe, it is very careful to pay attention to your needs, help you integrate into this ”big family”. Atmosphere: Everyone came to share experiences and opinions from all over the world, and set off again from here. It is a station on the journey, and it is also a station for the soul. I opened the door and saw everyone sitting at the bar eating instant noodles and chatting. I thought I was home.

I loved this hostel, huge spaces to hang out and even has a decent billiard table. Only wish I was staying here more than one night as I really liked this hostel, one of my top 5 I ever stayed in in all of China. Great location, clean and very good price. Wish more hostels were like this

Simple layout, complete facilities, clean and hygienic, with disposable toilet pads, basically meet the needs of tourism and residence. Close to the high-speed rail station, 10 minutes walk. It is very close to the group tour meeting point and 3 minutes walk. There are many small restaurants nearby and it is convenient to eat. The inn is not far from the bus stop, and it is convenient to travel. The lobby of the inn is very literary, and the two young men at the front desk are gentle and elegant, and they must answer questions. Those who want to travel with a group can sign up here.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Luoyang and truly wished I could have stayed longer! On my first night, the host kindly invited me to a lovely barbecue with other guests. As a solo traveler and a foreigner not fluent in Chinese, I felt warmly welcomed, included, and genuinely cared for. The atmosphere was relaxed and heartwarming — it seems this hostel attracts kind, thoughtful people. Everything was spotless, and my bed was incredibly comfortable. Thank you again, uncle and all the guests, for your warmth and positive energy!

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The front desk answered all my questions and was very friendly. It was clean and odorless, and the bed was comfortable so I could sleep until dawn! No one smoked in the eight-person room and they didn't bother each other. The two kittens were so cute. I love cats! I love cats! Cat yyds

Who knows, this stay experience is directly sealed! I chose Kafka's bear courtyard. I originally wanted to find a place to stay, but I didn't expect to have a great trip! The boss is super cheerful, and meeting is like meeting old friends for many years. As soon as I put down my luggage, I enthusiastically took us to Long live mountain to play, and introduced the attractions endlessly along the way, and shared a lot of local history and culture. It felt like I had an exclusive tour guide. Tired of playing, and took us to punch in various authentic foods, what snack street, fly restaurant, none of them fell, every mouth hit the taste buds, now I think of it still drooling! Back to the homestay at night, everyone sat around to play board games and play games, and laughed and laughed. The boss is like the head of the atmosphere group, and all kinds of interesting ideas are coming. There is no strangeness at all. Everyone is immersed in a happy atmosphere. The room is also very clean and comfortable, with complete facilities and super peace of mind. This trip can be so happy, Kafka's bear yard and the boss are not a success! #衞生院子、走廊、房間、衞生間都乾淨整潔，雖然和新開業的沒法比，但是同價位的比還是很乾凈的。#服務老闆熱情貼心，第二次住了。#位置交通方便，附近商户也多，買東西方便。#房間設施大桶免費飲用水，棒棒，插座多，位置也方便，我同時用了五個還有空餘，哈哈。美中不足這次房間沒有梳子和空調遙控器，雖然今晚天冷用不到，梳子和一次性馬桶墊也有自帶的。#停車方便，有停車位。#床適中#性價比較高
