A group of middle-aged guys, in our 40s, reunited after thirty years. To relive those late-night dorm chats, we picked this hostel and booked a six-person room. It was really great! Seeing the bunk beds immediately brought back the memories. Not to mention they also had retro gaming consoles and a pool table. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended for reunions!

I had a very pleasant stay this time. The location is super convenient, really close to the subway and a shopping mall, so getting around was easy. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to rest well. The front desk staff were very friendly. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would choose to stay here again. Whenever I needed help, they responded promptly, making my stay hassle-free and comfortable.
And since I stayed in a youth hostel, besides the good value, what I really appreciated was the friendly atmosphere. The lady at the front desk was genuinely super nice – beautiful and kind-hearted. The other guests were also very friendly. Whether you're an extrovert or an introvert, you'll feel right at home here. It's truly a rare find among guesthouses!

Great location, just a two-minute walk from the subway exit. As expected from a chain hotel, the facilities and cleanliness are quite good. However, some of the bunk beds had broken curtain hooks. I'd suggest replacing or fixing them. I had to use clips to hang my own curtain. Also, a big plus is that you have to change into slippers when entering the room area. The lobby isn't too noisy and has plenty of seating. The front desk staff were all very friendly. Overall, it's pretty good, and I'd consider staying here again next time I'm in Suzhou.

The bed was good and comfortable. Headroom of the bed is excellent. Location is excellent, close to eatery outlets and right at the centre of city. Only a small locker is available I was lucky enough to get a bed with slightly larger locker which can fit my backpack. But other locker are small, which can hardly fit a backpack. Only two bathrooms and two toilet available. It is indeed challenging when everyone is queueing. Also, washing machine is available, but no dryer is available. In overall, it is good place to stay.

I rarely find hostels like this; it was so comfortable and reassuring 😭 The hostel owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel almost embarrassed. She spoke so gently and thoughtfully, making me feel right at home. I chatted with her for a long time; she even lent me her umbrella when she mentioned it might rain, and offered me fruit from the table. She also recommended some good restaurants 😋. The room was spacious, incredibly clean and tidy, with a wonderful atmosphere. The cats were very friendly, and the location was great—there were breakfast stalls right outside, giving it a lively, local feel. It was a very comfortable stay, truly the best trip I've ever had. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance! I hope the hostel owner recognizes me then, hahaha~

The hotel has separate floors for men and women, and you need to use your key card to enter and exit, as well as use the elevators. The security is strict, making me feel very safe. The beds, sheets, and duvets in the room were clean and tidy, and I didn't need to make them myself, which made checking in a breeze. The shared washrooms, toilets, and showers were all very clean, and the overall environment far exceeded my expectations. The toilets offered both squat and Western-style options, with plenty of toilet paper. The Western-style toilets even had disposable seat covers and disinfectants, making them hygienic and reassuring to use. The showers were individual, self-contained cubicles with doors and a place to hang clothes, along with a damp-proof curtain, making them practical and moisture-resistant.
The amenities were very thoughtfully designed. The internet speed was sufficient for basic use. The laundry and dryer machines could be operated by scanning a QR code, which was convenient and hassle-free. The drying areas were clearly divided by gender, and the laundry and showering areas had their own dedicated corridors, requiring a key card for entry and exit. The sectional management was very well-organized. Most importantly, there was absolutely no noise!

I stayed in Nanjing for a night before heading to the Jiaxing Music Festival. The location is excellent – just a one or two hundred meter walk from the subway station, and there's a McDonald's nearby, which is super convenient. The service was exceptional too; they could tell I was a fan and even showed me around the makeup and shower areas. Before check-in time, they found a spot for me to store my luggage and do my makeup. Once I checked in, the bedsheets were impeccably clean. I'm a bit of a clean freak, but I didn't even need to use disposable linen covers. The shower area also had a place to put clothes, and complimentary shower gel and shampoo were provided. It was my first time seeing a dedicated makeup area, and it was really well-designed. While I was doing my makeup, some other women even complimented me, saying I looked beautiful. The all-female, friendly atmosphere was absolutely wonderful! 🥹
Cool, busy youth hostel. Bed was comfy and light/plug by bed. No locker in the room, just small ones by reception. Horrible wifi, especially in the evening.
Spacious common area with lots of plugs. Feels like a college dormitory, very social atmosphere, even a few foreigners staying there. Free hot water and a fridge.
Great endless hot water in the shower and clean (sit-down) toilets. No toilet paper or bidet however, so bring your own (why??).
Located right by a metro stop. There's a fantastic aldi-style grocery store in the attached mall. Nearby streets also have local food options.
It's confusing to find: enter via the west side of the building, at Qingfeng Hotel, then take elevator to 6th floor.

Choosing Narrow Meets Youth Hostel for my trip to Suzhou was absolutely the right decision! The location is super convenient for getting around, and the interior is clean and elegant, with a really comfortable atmosphere. The beds are tidy and comfy, with great privacy, and the common areas are spacious and inviting. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly, treating guests with kindness, and even offers thoughtful recommendations for touring routes. The hygiene is top-notch, facilities are complete, and the price is excellent value for money. My stay was a perfect 10/10, making it my go-to choice for accommodation when traveling. Highly recommended!

Very nice hostel. The room was good and so quiet. The girl at the reception was so nice and speak english. I got the room for me alone, it was only 3 chineses girls doing pictures who slept in the hostel. The location is so great as it close to the main touristic place. The toilet was very clean. Nothing bad to declare.

RrobjoeolIts quite a new hostel. Beds have light, quiet curtains, and charging ports. Good lockers that can be locked with key card. Washing machine/dryers can be used with an app. Was comfortable sleeping, but a little bit of noise from street when window is open. Location is good, close to restaurants and metro.
The downside is that people are smoking in toilets and in common rooms sometimes. No clear rules on that. Most guests were respectful but a couple were slamming doors. Could improve the mechanism for closing doors to prevent this. Minor points really that are not easily controlled by management
GGuest UserQuite a good place to stay the first few days, the lady there gave me a banana and free breakfast on the first day as I usually leave the place early. However, the last night there was absolutely horrendous. I am not sure who was smoking in the public space and there was a nauseating strong smell of smoke all over the place, if you leave your room door open the smell will be in your room too. I had to quickly go to the toilet if not the smell would be on my clothes. If it was not late at night, I would have found myself another place to stay. I think there can be stricter control on no smoking in an enclosed space like hostel, this person is extremely inconsiderate. He/she can go outside to smoke instead. The female toilet sink was also so rusty and they should fix it. A good thing is they provide shampoo and body wash. To me it is just a place to wash up and sleep, is acceptable for budget solo travellers but I will not stay here again due to the bad experience with the smoke.

GGuest UserThe environment is really clean! The bed is very soft! Auntie also burned a hot water bottle for us to drink, so intimate! I have lived many times and I am very at ease ~
HHadiaaaI loved the location...everything was so walkable. The owner was nice, friendly and we even chatted she suggested me places to visit... However, I went around the new year the prices were high which makes sense. But overall, the stay was fine. I didn't like that one chinese girl apparently who were working or something and was trying to be bossy.
Also, they have such a cuteeee dog. ❤️😩
