I stayed here on my first night in Nanjing, and it's super convenient being close to Xinjiekou. The hostel itself is quite spacious. However, it was a bit noisy at night with people coming in sporadically and quietly chatting until 1 or 2 AM. Also, other guests' luggage was piled up so much that I almost couldn't get out of bed. There weren't enough showers, so I had to wait in line. Other than that, the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are very nice, making it a great choice for couples. It's located right in the Confucius Temple area, which makes getting around very convenient. There are many interesting places to visit nearby, so it's perfect for anyone traveling to Nanjing. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the hotel lobby also had a great atmosphere. My check-in experience was really good, and I highly recommend it!

THE BEST [FEMALE] HOSTEL TO EXIST!!!
It has everything a girl needs, super clean, smells great, quiet, just feels like a girls sleepover where everyone are strangers. The employees are very kind that they will try to explain in English if you're not Chinese speaker, but do understand not very fluent, but very informative already. They would tour you around the whole hostel explaining everything so you have a smooth staycation even if it's a day.
There are rules for follow, which is understandable on why it's the cleanest managed hostel. You would need to make your own bed, it took a while, but if unable you can always ask the receptionist to help, so don't be scared to ask for help, it took me 10min because it was just sheets with limited space. Before check out, you would need to ***** the sheets and put it in the basket indicated outside. You do only get a disposable towel and toothbrush and toothpaste, so make sure to bring your towel if staying many nights.
Bathrooms are spacious, I've never seen such big bottles are body wash and shampoo ever, very generous and smells nice. You have a section to blowdry your hair with a mirror, as well as comb and hair brush if needed. Detergent is included in a paid laundry service. You can either air dry or use dryer, lots of hangers to use. There are designated makeup areas to get ready with mirrors that has lights.
The common room: there are plenty of chairs and tables to use, or using the couch near the projector is an option. Sometimes they play a drama on the projector and sometimes it's quiet. The kitchen is located near the receptionist and in common room. You have a fridge, microwave, water dispenser (both hot and warm), cutlery, plates, bowls are available, tea bags, every night they have a plate of fruit which you can eat too.
One thing I love is the locker space, normally you get a small locker which wouldn't really fit a cabin suitcase in, but this one, you can fit 2 cabin suitcase that is how big the locker is, so nice, and there is a rack in there too. Very spacious. Rooms are very spacious too.
Bed is nice firm, not on the soft side if you prefer soft bed, pillow is a bit cloudy soft, but still ok.
Location is great too, located around plenty of foods, few minute walk from the metro station. There's a McDonald next door too.
Definitely coming back here if I'm in Nanjing alone next time.

Facilities: Very good! The beds are sturdy, and there's no noise when you turn over. The bathrooms are all-in-one with shower curtains behind the shower doors, so you don't have to worry about getting your clothes wet even if you walk in fully dressed. 😄😄😄 There are three washing machines and three dryers, so you don't have to wait long.
Cleanliness: The bed sheets and duvet covers were very clean. I stayed for several days, and they cleaned my room and even seemed to change the bed curtain when I extended my stay today.
Environment: It's close to the Line 2 subway station. There's a small shop across the street downstairs, and plenty of food options nearby and in the basement.
Service: It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I didn't know my way around, but they kindly showed me the way. An auntie was also cleaning the common areas at 8 PM, so the service attitude is excellent.
Staying at this hostel made me feel like I was back in college. There's a pool table in the lobby, and people play board games and such, creating a great atmosphere. There's a small stage with a guitar, but maybe there weren't any musician-singers staying here, as no one sang during my entire stay. 😂
Things I think could be improved: 1. The handle on the upper bunk bed by the wall near the door is not easy to use. It could be wider or have an increased grip area.
2. The laundry prices are a bit high. Aside from just spinning, the cheapest wash is 5 yuan. It could be lowered a bit. The dryer prices, however, are quite reasonable.
3. The speed of issuing invoices. I just remembered that I could participate in a lottery with an invoice. I'm not in a hurry for it, but if someone needs it for reimbursement, getting an invoice here might be slow.

This hostel is really great! The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The facilities are comprehensive and top-notch. They have separate areas for men and women, a spacious common area, a study room, and even a makeup room. It's very quiet and conveniently located near tourist attractions and the subway. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends. Honestly, it's one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

Hostel is easy to find! Excellent location, metro very near, nice quiet street (and rooms are quiet too), loads of eating places right at door, and easy walk to the main tourist areas.
Good light in the large ground floor common area (rear area has better AC).
Some kind of cafe setup but didn't seem to operate.
dorm beds with curtain, light , international power outlet , aircon , locker safe for each bed; shower and toilet in dorm.
This hostel is good, and can run a lot better with standard procedures/info, and some key signs in english.
I don't expect staff to speak english (just as I can't speak chinese) but a laminated 1 page sheet in english could readily cover everything, instead of little info and then some gesturing: the different wifi networks, checkout steps, what is the deal with the cafe/fridge, how to exit door before desk is staffed in morning. For example, in the laundry the english sign was really useful, and told me that there was a drying space outside 1 of the windows.
fire safety is poor: on each floor the stair doors are open (without auto release) meaning that fire smoke would rise uncontrolled and block escape path.
I had a roommate named sky. We got along really well and he took me to a massage place next to the hostel.
It was an interesting experience to say the least.
The best part about this hostel is the nb market just below it.
The staff also are very friendly and helped me order food on taobao.
The bathroom and shower are very clean also.
The people are mostly young people looking for work so not many hygiene issues from guest.
Absolutely no issues.
I would stay here next time I'm in Nanjing

Location: Very close to Zhenjiang Railway Station, just across the street, a 10-15 minute walk. Located in Changfa Plaza, next to Wanda Plaza. Convenient shopping; there's a large supermarket, ”Changshen Supermarket,” in the basement; Changfa Plaza has many restaurants, including Haidilao and Yong'an Fish Restaurant, and even plenty of street food stalls, catering to various price ranges.
Environment & Facilities: The hostel is on the 4th floor of Building 5, easy to find with the map provided by the owner. The total area isn't large, but it's well-equipped. Upon entering, there's a common lounge area, small but complete with sofas, a dining table, a refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser, and a washing machine. Attention to detail is also evident, with a dedicated slipper sterilizer and ample clothes hangers. There are two shower rooms for women, even with shower gel and shampoo. There's only one squat toilet, but since there aren't many guests and everyone has different schedules, it's sufficient. All rooms have bunk beds, the difference being between four-person and eight-person rooms. There are approximately 3-4 rooms each for men and women.
Each bed comes with a strip lamp, a small cabinet, a charging socket, disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, and earplugs. The only slight drawback is the lack of storage space for large luggage; you have to put it under the bed or simply toss it on the bed.
The walkway outside allows you to get some sun, and there's a clothes rack where you can hang your clothes to dry.
A bookshelf separates the entryway from the rest area. The bookshelf actually has many worthwhile books; putting down your phone and choosing a book is a pleasant experience.
Most of the guests are young people with different schedules, so we didn't interact much. On the first night, I met a girl who bought fruit to share with everyone; the second night, I met a girl who couldn't get a train ticket to Suzhou and had to take a ferry from Yangzhou to Zhenjiang. I shared my Zhenjiang travel tips with them, hoping everyone had a pleasant trip.
In summary: A very nice hostel where you can feel free and undisturbed, perfect for solo travelers.

This hostel completely exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The location is excellent, with convenient transport links that save time and effort getting around. The room layout is well-designed, feeling spacious and not cramped. The bedding is changed for every new guest, and the room is cleaned daily, so the hygiene is top-notch. The common areas are bright and spacious, equipped with everything you need, like tables, chairs, a water dispenser, and luggage lockers, making daily use very convenient. The staff are attentive and friendly, always ready to help promptly with any issues. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is quiet and relaxing, not noisy or chaotic, making for a very comfortable stay. The prices are affordable, and the value for money is outstanding compared to similar accommodations – I got a fantastic stay at a great price. My short stay here was incredibly pleasant, and I highly recommend it to backpackers and those on short trips. It’s definitely worth coming back to!

Very nice hostel. The room was good and so quiet. The girl at the reception was so nice and speak english. I got the room for me alone, it was only 3 chineses girls doing pictures who slept in the hostel. The location is so great as it close to the main touristic place. The toilet was very clean. Nothing bad to declare.

GGuest UserThis place is truly amazing! It was my first time staying in a hostel, and it felt like being back in college. The cleanliness was outstanding; there was practically no dirt anywhere. The facilities were also very new. I really liked that you had to change into slippers when you entered, and most areas were carpeted. They had a study room, a vanity room, and showers. The signage and instructions were excellent too. Since the entrance is all stairs, they even help with luggage, so ladies don't have to worry about carrying heavy suitcases – service is top-notch!
They have self-service washing machines and dryers, and there are time limits to ensure everyone gets a good night's rest and isn't disturbed by noise. The hair dryers also have a timer and automatically shut off, but you can ask the front desk for one if you need it longer – it's all designed to be considerate of other guests. Washing clothes is straightforward with different modes, and the dryer is timed. It's great value for money, especially if you save up laundry to do it all at once (you can also handwash in the shower area). If you're particular about hangers, I suggest bringing your own, or just using the dryer (though I wouldn't recommend drying bras with underwire as they might deform from the heat).
Overall, my first great impression of Suzhou came from this hostel – it was super! I forgot to take pictures, so I've attached a tourist photo instead. It's very close to the subway station, about a 5-8 minute walk, and there are bus stops nearby. (If your suitcase is overweight, I don't recommend using Exit 9. Exit 4 has an accessible elevator to the street, though it's a bit further than Exit 9. Exit 9 has an incredible number of stairs, which I almost died trying to climb!). The locals are also incredibly warm and helpful. They often offer great advice without being asked; for example, when my friend and I were chatting, they'd proactively offer recommendations. When I was sighing at the stairs at Exit 9, a woman even told me there were many more stairs ahead and suggested I use a different exit. The local people here are truly wonderful!
GGuest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations! The room had great natural light, was meticulously cleaned, and there were no unpleasant odors or hard-to-reach corners. The soundproofing was good, and it was very quiet at night. The staff were friendly and responsive to any needs. The hotel is easy to find, and the surrounding amenities are convenient. Highly recommended!
