Room: neat clean space. lights and Aircon . the area between the beds is very spacious and there are large lockers so plenty of space to store your stuff . Bathroom: two normal showers and a large shower room where you can rent a bath hammock thing. three vanity sinks in this bathroom, then there's a toilet room with three toilets and three sinks, so lots of options. shampoo conditioner and body wash supplied. decent hairdryer. washing machine 300 yen, then dryer 100 yen per 15 mins. Security: pin code on dormitory. Amenities: there is a kitchen space and you can also order food from the 5th floor of the tower to the hostel lounge. Location: about ten minute walk from the station. plenty of eating places and shops nearby. there is a bus stop right outside. Other: might be useful if there were bins in the dormitory rather than having to go back and forth between the lounge. hooks in the bed area might also be useful e.g. for hanging your towel, although I suppose you could put it in your locker

We loved the Japanese style room with tatami mats, incredibly spacious room, amazing Japanese breakfast included in (low) price, great location that was walking distanc to Hyotan Onsen and the Beppu Jigoku (Hells of Beppu). The owner was super friendly and helpful and gave us a hand-drawn map of local onsens and restaurants. To note: Showers were only 7.30-8.30am (same time as m breakfast at 7.30am) or 7-10pm in the evening, but you had to request to shower, because most people shower at the onsens instead.

Super nice hotel with onsen! I have a short stay (unfortunately) at this hotel. It was a short walk from Beppu Station, and nearby attractions also restaurant! I am having so much fun strolling around the hotel! Beppu tower is located like 5 minutes walk, the Donki store and my favourite restaurant Gusto also SUPER NEAR from the hotel! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WILL AGAIN STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

The hospitality of the inn is amazing. I made a reservation on the day to sleep during my Kyushu mountaineering expedition. Clean futon. Wrapped in clean sheets, I was able to sleep soundly. I was going mountaineering the next day, so when I left early in the morning, there was a letter on my shoes. It made me feel very warm and futon-like. Sagara-san, I was moved! I would like to go again if I am in the area. There is a hot spring and a set meal restaurant. There is also free parking at night at the station. If you ask the restaurant staff, they will happily give you advice. I recommend it!

It was already 4:30 pm when we entered Yufuin on the first day. The owner had already turned on the air conditioner in our room and provided instructions on how to use the hot springs. He was afraid that we would not be able to visit the attractions before they closed, so he drove us to the fairytale town. Although it was closed in the end, we were familiar with the route. He also helped us check the bus schedule the next day. Thank you!

Nice guesthouse less than 10m walk to Beppu train station and around 15 min walk from the main area and some local onsen. The owner is super friendly and very interested to get to know his guests. Totally happy with this choice.

The hotel is nice, clean and hygienic, suitable for young people. The price is affordable. There are free hot springs nearby for the three days of New Year. It is only a seven- to eight-minute walk from Beppu Station. There is something to find on Baidu Maps. The owner is Chinese and very enthusiastic. Easy to find with Google Maps

道地日式ㄧ戶建，三房一廳ㄧ衛，兩間房間各有兩張雙人床，還有一間日式禢褟米房，後院還有一個停車場，適合開車入住，櫥房鍋碗瓢盆及清潔用品都有，只缺調味料，浴室還有附洗脫烘衣機，一應俱全，入住當天早上會郵寄大門密碼入住方便，房東會先開好冷氣一入住就很舒適，很安靜的鄉下，晚上很暗都沒路燈大家都不敢出門，可以先去超市買晚餐回來在廚房自己煮，離金鱗湖走路5-10分鐘，清晨可以去走走，很漂亮。
