The capsule hostel is a great option for those who want to mount the Fuji, it is located next to the most beautiful garden i have ever seen - Oishi Park with Fuji as backdrop. The capsule itself is actually quite spacious, and public areas are very very clean, including a very modern shower. the only thing need to pay attention is that there is no much shops or restaurants nearby, you might want to come with lots of supply
Mt Fuji Hostel Michael's

Great location, friendly staff, nice room. We stayed in a private room and they provided towels and toothbrushes. All common areas were clean. There were shower gel and shampoo in the shared bathroom, wich is nice. There is a good restaurant across the hostel. The only thing I don't like was the smell in the room. It was strong and unpleasant. There is no window to open to get rid of the smell. It was hard to stay there long. They use air fresheners to deal with the smell but i don't like it too. I prefer no smell indoors at all.
Mt.Fuji Cabin & Lounge Highland Station Inn (Capsule Hotel)

Overall pleasant stay. The location is pretty nice, one minute walk to the bus station and 2 minutes walk to the JR station, but no hot spring there. Furthermore, there is a convenient store right besides.

K's House Mt.Fuji

Great stay! The house is within walking distance to Kawaguchiko Station, Lake Kawaguchiko, and a convenience store. The location is peaceful and offers beautiful scenery. The house is spacious enough for four people, with a private toilet and shared areas like the kitchen, dining area, and hall. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
Hostel Mt. Fuji - Fukuya

I stayed for two nights on the first floor in a bunk bed. It was my first time staying at this type of accommodation, but I had a comfortable stay. My mom is also a nice person, and she was using it for a Johnny's concert. My mom is also a Queen fan, and when she told me about going to a LIVE show next year, it was easy to talk to her because I felt a little sympathy for her ^ ^
FOREST GARDEN HOTEL

Very clean, especially the public areas (slippers in the bathroom, toilet, washroom), toiletries are also well equipped (seat cleaning wipes are also provided in the bathroom), the public areas are not far from the guest rooms, I personally feel it is quite convenient once you get used to it. The Japanese suite is spacious and beautiful, and is also equipped with a spare quilt for covering There is a bus stop nearby, which can be reached in a few minutes on foot. It is convenient to take the bus to Kawaguchiko Yamanakako Oshino Hakkai, but the bus interval is relatively long (half an hour to one hour), so you need to pay attention to the bus arrival time displayed in the navigation in advance and in real time The hotel is located on the road from Kawaguchiko to Yamanakako, surrounded by woodlands, the air is fresh and very quiet. Thank you to the boss for arranging a car to pick us up in the evening to eat the nearby rural century-old Japanese cuisine. The dining environment is great Finally, I would like to thank the store for agreeing to let us leave the store one day earlier for free, and driving us to Lake Ashi for more than an hour in the morning.
Hostel Fujisan You

The accommodation is very well located. Everything is accessible by bus. The hostel also rents out bicycles. We rented bicycles and were able to explore the area. The hostel is very clean. There is a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Breakfast is provided. There are bananas and delicious homemade bread. There is also always hot water available. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the hostel.

very nice
Fuji Fifty Ryokan
4.9/510 Reviews
The room is very Japanese, I like it very much, and it is very quiet at night, which is very suitable for a rest stop during a city transit trip. The boss is very nice, we can communicate in Chinese, and the local uncle who manages the B&B is also very nice. I was alone that day, and he waited until I came to check in very late. The room is close to the Yamanakako Plain, and the transportation is relatively convenient. If you go to Tokyo, you can take a bus to Shinjuku here. Finally, there are three regrets. One is that my phone fell on the way there, and I will not buy a folding screen again😭 (the boss is still very active in providing help) The second is that the B&B seems to have not found a hair dryer, and the supplies can be placed more prominently☺️ The third is that the restaurant here closes early, but there is an izakaya and 711 next to it. Very satisfied☺️
