Arcadia HotSpring Hotel
4.9/5239 Reviews
The hotel is located on a hill in a bamboo forest. There are no neighbors around, so in Arcadia you can enjoy nature and relax from the city noise. A vacation in Arcadia is perfect for groups of friends, families, with you love or alone. The room is spacious, bright, well-ventilated, the bed is large, our room had a balcony overlooking the valley. There are many places to relax, 2 Jacuzzis and a large swimming pool. We were delighted with the food! Even we foreigners really liked the Chinese cuisine in this hotel. The European cuisine and the serving of dishes are great, we have never seen this level in other hotels. The ingredients in the dishes are fresh and of good quality. Besides the good food, Arcadia also has the best service among all the hotels we've been to. Thanks Terry for that! The staff is friendly and helpful. We were greeted and escorted off as good friends. The owner of Arcadia Ernest is a hospitable, kind and interesting person with excellent English. He gave us a tour of the hotel, showed us hiking trails with wonderful views of the tea plantations and the valley, and told us many stories about the hotel and the surrounding area. On our next trip to Shanghai, we will definitely plan a visit to Arcadia!
Moyan Moganshan Villa Huanshan Suxi Meisu (Yucun Square)

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿(庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!
Poetry Painting Garden of Xianju

I recently stayed in the family room at this homestay and wanted to share my experience. On the positive side, the room was quite spacious, providing ample room for my family to move around comfortably. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome during our stay. The garden in front of the house added to the pleasant ambiance. However, there were a few downsides to our stay. Firstly, I noticed that the cleanliness of the toilet and shower area wasn't up to par. This was a bit disappointing as cleanliness is a crucial aspect of any accommodation. Additionally, there were no disposable slippers provided, which would have been a thoughtful touch. Lastly, the air conditioning in the room didn't cool the space effectively, leaving the room a bit warmer than we would have liked. In conclusion, while there were some positives to our stay, the issues with cleanliness, lack of disposable slippers, and inadequate air conditioning did affect our overall comfort. With a bit of improvement in these areas, this homestay could offer an even more enjoyable experience for families looking for a relaxing getaway.
Moganshan Moshe Yujia Homestay (Huzhou Xisaishan Branch)

Xisai Mountain Tourist Resort
We chose the homestay for it's secluded location and loved every bit of it! The rooms were fantastic. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. The bbq experience with the outdoor karaoke setup was great! Sang our hearts out! The view of the bamboo forest from the room coupled with an outdoor balcony made the evenings that much more special to enjoy with our group. The breakfast meals were an absolute delight and the staff made sure to cater exactly as we requested. Transport (via alipay car hail) was a bit of an issue because of the scarcity of taxis in the area, but the auntie at the hotel was kind enough to arrange a taxi through one of her friends. The hotel outdoor area is very spacious and had multiple activities to follow including water gun fights and trampolines. We really did let the kid inside of us run wild this weekend. The fishing experience was fun and educating although we couldn't catch any ourselves. All in all, such a great weekend and will definitely recommend to anyone including foreigners. 5/5 Totally satisfied.
Manla Seaview Garden Villa

The Manla Sea view villa owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The husband came to the bus station to pick us and our luggage upon arrival. As I was travelling with my 2 young children, this was very convenient for us. The villa location was perfect for us. It’s a short walk away from countless seafood restaurant and small supermarkets for our daily needs. It’s also very close to Nansha beach and the tourist centre area which had NAT services. We spent some time at Dongsha beach which was a short and cheap taxi ride away and also next to the Westin hotel where my boys enjoyed the buffet. You can even walk there as it’s not very far away. Meals at the villa were sufficient and tasty. The breakfast is Chinese style and plentiful. It’s a good way to begin the day as we explored the area. The wife was very helpful, kind and generous to us frequently giving us food like bread, cakes, yoghurt, etc. We were also given some fresh grapes in our room every day.
Moganshan Yinwujie bamboo forest and spring·Resort hotel

If you’re looking for a forest mountain getaway far enough from city life, this hotel is a great escape. The hotel is surrounded by bamboo forests and you can hike into the hills. The hotel was very pet friendly for our three dogs. We hiked through the farmland to the nearby reservoir and even discovered an extremely nice coffee shop at the reservoir. We had dinner at the nearest village at a standard restaurant. The location of the hotel is perfect for what we intended for our trip. The workers at the hotel are very hospitable. “Make yourself at home” was the overall feeling from the staff. The only detractor I experienced was the air conditioning in my room didn’t work and the workers were unable to fix it. The hotel amenities we enjoyed were the pool, bbq grill, and their pet allowance. It was a great stay overall!
See Faraway Mogan Ziling Villa

The pictures were so promising, the actual property is just next level. Welcomed by Jane, the host, we immediately felt at home. We would not have changed a single object there, nor in the common area. Fully in line with our personal tastes. We found out later that Jane’s husband, a designer, was behind the the set-up. Not a surprise at all. In addition to a yummy breakfast, that pas planned, we ended up having a dinner and a late lunch. Both prepared by a super ayi. So tasty and genuine. We spend a couple of hours in the adjacent bamboo forest. Crispy air, unique light, insane calm (the whole area is so quiet). We will definitely come back. When weather will allow the use of the welcoming swimming pool. Thanks Jane! And please thank ayi on our behalf for the yummy meals.
Mogan Lingshang Tea Culture Hot Spring Villa
4.7/575 Reviews
The environment is great. In a tea garden, you can drink tea, bask in the sun and take a bath. The rooms are all facing south and are very warm. The bedding is also extremely comfortable. The set meal consists of 2 meat dishes, 2 vegetarian dishes and 1 soup. The vegetables and small potatoes are all grown at home; the cooking skills are exquisite, very delicious, cheap and good quality. The service is super good and everything is answered. The housekeeper also dragged the wiring board to the pavilion in the tea garden and let us make tea in the sun. There is also a tank of water for bathing, which is clean and hygienic; it is so comfortable to enjoy the warmth in the embrace of nature at night! The tea at this restaurant is delicious, and several of its teas have won awards... It is equipped with a tea room where you can taste tea at will; it is really a bonus for people who like to drink tea. The price of black tea is also half cheaper than in the tea city. The water is filtered from mountain springs and has a sweet taste👍 Great vacation choice, the price for activities is very cost-effective!
Hangzhou Yinxi Tea House (West Lake Lingyin)

West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area
We are two Americans spending two nights at this hotel. While the room was not big, it was perfectly decorated and impeccably clean. The owner is on site at all times to take care of you. The tea they serve is from their own tea farm, hand roasted; it is a 5-minute walk from the Lingyin Temple and many other area attractions. The view is unbeatable. Several delicious vegetarian restaurants are within 2-3 mins walk. A public bus station is 3 mins walk away and cabs are everywhere. Note that the whole area is a bit away from the main city, but we find this to be our little slice of heaven. I will be back asap with my family. Oh, you will love the adorable cats!

The service we received during our stay was superb! Tina and David (the owners) went above and beyond their duties as hosts to ensure we were comfortable and would enjoy our stay. They provided transport to the train station, Chinese translation, attraction advise Etc. The esthetic of the room was also great, neatly decorated. They were also available to talk to during our stay at any given point if we needed assistance. The food was adequate and they also provided dinner when asked. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here! We felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Fantastic hosts!
