Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market. If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.

We really loved this hotel. Very close to the bus stop, so easy to get around. Also next door to the market which was very cool. We didn’t like the light system for room and bathroom, we found it very inconvenient. Unfortunately our second night there the air conditioning unit stopped working. After trying everything it absolutely would not turn on again. We sent a message to trip.com but as it was after hours, we couldn’t get any real help. They offered to switch our rooms but then stopped communicating with us all together. In the end our room was 32 degrees. An unfortunate way to spend our last night on jeju :/

Hotel is in a nice location. Near many food places and food market. They offer breakfast however should be more classic western options. Just add more western options like sausage (was just once during 5 night stay), sunnyside eggs, some fresh fruits and vegetables and it would be great and perfectly for all. But of course I understand customers are mostly Koreans/Asian so for sure options are enough for them.

I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Blue Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and wellequipped, great value for the price. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. Waking up to the sunrise and ocean view from the balcony was truly the highlight of my stay. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the calm side of Jeju.

The location it’s perfect. You have bus station just next, walkable distance to the market. The place it’s very clean, the elevator it’s perfectly working, they have a microwave and water dispenser. They provide amenities. The staff it’s very friendly and helpful. There is also grocery next to the hotel. I would stay there again. Good value for the money.

Hotel is located in main location near shopping street and food street and hotel is good and decent and reception people are helpful and love to stay again

When I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, I encountered a driver who had no idea how to read a map! He ended up driving into the mountains, and after a long, frustrating conversation, we finally made it to the hotel thanks to Apple Maps. It's actually right behind the Grand Hyatt, so from then on, I just had taxis drop me off at the Grand Hyatt and walked over – it's a super convenient 100-meter straight shot. The front desk was manned by a single middle-aged man with a terrible attitude, as if I owed him a million bucks for a decade! When I asked him how to use the shower in the bathroom, he gave me a look of utter disdain and impatience, making us feel like ******. Service was non-existent; it was all self-service, with us grabbing towels and bottled water from the first floor ourselves daily. I'm used to this for guesthouses, so it wasn't a big deal. The large household-sized refrigerator is a plus, and there's also a microwave and washing machine. For those staying, remember to bring your own laundry detergent – it's really convenient for washing clothes daily. There are many convenience stores nearby, and Champion Ganjang Gejang is right next door. Because it's located within a hotel area, there are currency exchange shops all around. Taxis are very easy to catch.

Women only guesthouse. The sense of safety is worth the price. It’s not difficult to list what it to be loved about the place. Comfortable bedding, luggage storage before and after check in if you have a late flight, relaxing space on the first floor, cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast made by the staff is above standards. I’m so grateful to be able to taste seaweed clam soup and Korean rice, and making your own eggs. But there are also options of bread and butter, and cereal. Fresh coffee, tea and water are also provided. At the end of the day it is a shared space and not always perfect in regards to noise, sometimes it can be noisy after 11pm. But the girls I stayed with were very nice and majority of times are open to chatting and communicating regards to lights out times. There was an incident with one staff member in the morning who wore black headphones, pink loungewear and had dark glasses. She was a bit rude regards to surroundings and almost hit me while opening the upper cupboard doors and fridge. Later, she was also disrespectful to another Chinese guest who wanted to ask a question at the front desk. Aside from this I truly enjoyed my stay here in central Jeju, and found it very comfortable and had decent privacy with the curtains. The guests were overall very respectful and I had the pleasure to meet nice people. I look forward to staying here again if I visit Jeju again.

Great Stay at Oakra Hotel The hotel is definitely worth the price. I arrived around 2 PM feeling very tired from traveling and didn’t realize that the official check-in time was 4 PM. Thankfully, Ms. Gao Shuang was very kind and accommodating. Since the room was already available, she allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a good place to rest after a long trip. The room also had useful amenities like a refrigerator, heater, and small towels, which were very convenient. My only minor concern is that there was no cup in the room for making tea or coffee. It would be great if the hotel could add that simple amenity. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would still recommend Oakra Hotel for travelers looking for good value and comfortable accommodation.
