Hostels in Svalbard, Norway

The guest rooms are divided into several buildings. Since they were in separate buildings, I wore warm winter clothes when I needed to go to the reception building for meals or other reasons. As a result, the separate buildings were only occupied by guests and kept quiet. Also, since they were far from the city center, there were no other people around. Each building had a shared shower, toilet, refrigerator, kitchen, and kettle. There were no TVs, but the Wi-Fi was strong and not an issue. Breakfast was a buffet, and the quality and quantity of food was more than enough.

I stayed in a 4-person dormitory, and while it was okay for me, the space for suitcases was limited. It could get quite challenging if all guests had large suitcases, so I'd recommend bringing a backpack instead, as you can also use the lockers provided. I was on the top bunk, which meant I had to use a power bank to charge my phone. The shared kitchen area had a fantastic vibe, and I really enjoyed chatting and socializing with other guests there. For transportation in Svalbard, you can take a bus or taxi between the airport and the city center. Conveniently, a bus stop is right next to the hotel. Although it's a bit outside the main town, the prices are reasonable, and the breakfast is delicious, so I'd definitely recommend it.
