The place is clean and complete amenities. The staff is accommodating and friendly including the security guards and the maintenance team. They have their own laundry, cafeteria and convenience store inside the building. It is also safe here because the gate is accessible with the keycard and well guarded. I highly recommend this place.

Very good hostel. It's a bit far (20-minute walk) from the city center, but they offer activities like tours, which is a nice touch. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, though.

Noisy hostel. Loud party music in the night, construction noise in the day. Upper floor shakes, creaks when guests walk on it. While the complimentary welcome drink and staff friendliness are commendable, the terrible noise in the place that disrupts anyone's sleep is not worth the cheap price. Some insensitive and drunken guests also add up to the noise, when Management can effectively handle these issues if they have the right strategies. I requested for a lower bunk bed when booking, but was not granted. No locker key was provided.

The common areas are spacious, with travel books and board games on the shelves. In the evenings, people often gather to chat and watch movies, making it a great place for solo travelers to meet new friends. The bedding is changed for each guest, and the restrooms and showers are cleaned daily, so there are no unpleasant smells. The bunk beds have curtains, offering good privacy.

The receptionist is very polite and accommodating. The room is very clean and just enough for 2 pax. They may not have offered breakfast but there are available food stalls along the area. The neighborhood is quiet especially at night. Our stay in Goland is very practical and yet comfortable. Just the right place for us.

Good airport. Our flight from Puerto Princesa arrived without delay, and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for our luggage. The airport has many different cafes and shops. There's a bus that goes to the Lapu-Lapu area every 5 minutes (MI-05) and costs 15 pesos.

Mixed Experience at Isa-Hostel Cons - not very helpful staff at check in, no information or orientation to the hostel (e.g., breakfast, services etc.). The door to the shared dorm room didn't work properly, no one could get in or out, so whoever was in the room would have to let people in (all through the night) or the door was often left open (as we couldn't really close it when leaving) and there are no lockers for valuables and the locked drawers offered are a bit of a joke. Located very central, which means also very loud music playing till early morning, barely slept even with earplugs in. Pros - they take pride in keeping all areas clean, in the rooms, common areas and especially the bathrooms. Bathroom showers could use some door hooks to keep clean clothes or towels dry. The morning breakfast is simple but nice, they even accommodated me for breakfast even though I was technically too late. Centrally located.

There are always staff members wearing orange T-shirts on duty, so you can feel safe. The air conditioning was on properly, so I was able to stay comfortable. Thank you very much.

The location near Dumaluan Beach is like a 10-minute walk while it's quite far from alona Beach. It's more on a quiet side compared to other hostels. The room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfy. It's has great facilities like billiards and pool. The food was also great with big portions, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is recommended and value hor money.

Not just a Public hostel. Very Clean. Slippers are provided so it lessen my baggage. You have to set an alarm or else youll be late. The black out, cool, serene place room will make you sleep like a baby 😆. Big comfort room with free use of blower, shampoo, liquid soap, and a lot of tissues. ☺ I got free drink, the cold green juice, a tea and a coffee the following day. Staff are friendly and ready to serve your request. Txs for adding value through your business.

DDavidekoalaThe rooms are very nice and simple overall, and the cleanliness is good. But unfortunately, I have to focus on other aspects that could ruin or significantly impact your stay. The rooms are both front and back, and here, the ones at the front are the ones shown more often, as they enjoy the best location, cleanliness, and quiet. Unfortunately, we ended up in the back for the two nights we stayed, and we were right in front of the kitchen. Groups of people staying there made a racket from 1 a.m. until the morning, or at least until 4:30 a.m., and by 6:30 a.m., people were already cooking and making breakfast. It's not a place to rest or be respectful, so I would avoid it. Furthermore, the shared bathrooms lack shelves or countertops, and in addition to being very dirty, due to guests with poor hygiene standards, we didn't know how to move around or where to put the toiletries. Toilet paper was always wet because it was next to the shower. The place would be nice, but besides being on a remote street, it didn't allow us to rest due to these situations. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there's no point in making so many rules if they aren't followed.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel! The rooms are cozy, and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the grounds are well-maintained too. The location isn't the most convenient if you're on foot, but the hotel itself is in a beautiful spot. They also offer scooters at a very good price – cheaper than renting them 'on the street'. When we arrived, all the scooters were taken, but the girls at the reception suggested a company they work with, and everything was delivered right to the hotel for us. When a hotel scooter became available, we took that. They also helped us with tours. We initially booked the hotel for 2 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another 3. By the way, the transfer from the hotel is also more cost-effective than arranging it yourself. The hotel owners, Nick and Raquel, are very kind and open-hearted; it was a real pleasure and very interesting to chat with them. Abigail and the other girls are also positive and always ready to help. At this hotel, you feel like you're visiting close relatives. Thank you! We would be very happy to stay with you again!)

RRhapxie LibreaThis new space in Cebu is a nice place to stay if you want to be near IT Park. It’s just a walking distance to the malls and the famous Sugbo Mercado. I don’t have a photo of my room but it doesn’t have a fridge and a TV. Which is understandable for the price. They have restaurants, cafe, pool, and even 7-11 outside. So it is really convenient. They also offer buffet on the rooftop for around 699php.

GGuest UserThis hotel is even better than some more expensive hotels nearby, especially for less than 1,000 PHP a night. It's incredibly good value for money. The room was spacious and all transactions were smooth. This will definitely be my first choice when I return to Cebu.

TTSFIt is located on the road going up the mountain from the center of Cebu City. The area is developing and there are high-rise apartment buildings, but there are also many very peaceful houses (if you head towards the valley from the guesthouse site, you will see many dugout huts, and although it is not a slum, you will enter an area where people with low incomes live). There is a restaurant nearby, and the food is delicious. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor (shared with the staff, so it smells good at mealtimes). The beds are perfect, there is air conditioning, and the shower has good water pressure, so I think it is the best choice for backpackers. The photo shows the road going down to the valley area mentioned above in the neighborhood. It was a Sunday when I stayed there, so I could see the residents singing karaoke.

MMartin BosioOver all we had a great stay at this accommodation. The staff was very friendly, always available. We also left our clothes for laundry service, it was quick and inexpensive! We recommend this place for couples. Due to the proximity to the street sometimes you can hear cars and movement from the outside. The only thing we would mention is that in their best room even though they have renovated the bathroom, strong smell comes out of the sewage. It can be quite strong. Other than that it’s a great place to stay and the girls at reception are awesome.

SSander RoxasWe stayed at Travelbee Fuente Inn for three nights, and overall, it was a pleasant and budget-friendly experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Fuente Osmeña Circle, making it convenient to access restaurants, shops, and public transport. The room was simple but clean, with comfortable beds and fresh linens provided daily. For two people, the space was cozy yet sufficient. The air-conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with requests or provide directions. Housekeeping was consistent, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere inside the inn despite being in a busy area. While amenities are basic (no elevator and limited parking), the affordability and accessibility make up for it. Travelbee Fuente Inn is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, safe, and convenient place to stay in Cebu City without breaking the budget.

DDabantoyThe House itself is clean as well as the room where we stayed. The location is good, the food stall and bank are accessible. If you‘re fun of walking, you can walk to the Robinson in less than 20mins 😊 The service is good, the staff were helpful and accommodating. Still there are minor inconvenience but it is manageable. If you‘re looking for an affordable rooms to stay, I recommend this place. Note, this is a House and not a Hotel, so don‘t expect too much.
