The location was great - right in the middle of Stratford and ideal for a theatre visit. The room was small and pretty basic, but it was clean with comfy beds so fine for overnight. The communication from staff was great - no onsite parking but a clear explanation of where the nearest car park was (very close) and how to get the best price. Very helpful staff. Didn't use the bar area so can't comment on food or drink, but it was welcoming and there was a pleasant outside area. Tea / coffee and kettle provided. Clean if small shower room. Overall really good value for the price and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located in the city center, 15 minutes walk from the railway station with luggage, 5 to 10 minutes walk to Shaon’s former residence, and 2 minutes on a road in Shaweng New Residence. The location is very convenient. The town is very beautiful, the entire city centre is not too big, and the day is enough to turn around. Hotel facilities are old, but very clean, the rooms are medium in size, the bathrooms are extremely clean and large enough. Breakfast is a typical English breakfast, coffee and tea waiters will be handed over to you, and the overall service is very friendly.

Masons Court is a stunning example of a medieval Wealden Hall and is located right in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, a lively and historic market town. Built in 1482 the house is recognised as the oldest house in Stratford-upon-Avon and many of its original features remain including two 16th century wall paintings. Visitors will find themselves within a few minutes walk of Shakespeare's birth place, Royal Shakespeare theatre, River Avon and a wide range of restaurants and bars. The space3 Masons Court sleep up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The house been recently refurbished with a modern, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and contemporary decor. This property is truly one of a kind, a comfortable and magical place to stay when visiting the area. The property has a flagstoned, 16th century oak panelled dining room, an Inglenook fireplace with wood-burner in the spacious living area and original oak beams throughout. There are two bathrooms at the property, one houses a freestanding copper 'Hurlingham' bathtub, the other a large metro tiled walk in shower.Bedroom one, to the front of the property and part of the original 15th century Wealden Hall, is a small and comfortable oak beamed room with a double bed.The master bedroom has a 16th century fire place and raised wooden platform area, a 16th century wooden panelled wall divides it from bedroom three, there is a lockable door in the wooden panelling which guests with smaller children may choose to leave open. Bedroom three is a small and cosy room, having two windows one of which is an original mullion window, this room can also be accessed by its own private doorway from the landing area. Guests should note that these two rooms are totally independent from each other, however, they are divided by the16th century wooden wall which loud snoring may travel though ! .To the rear of 3 Masons Court there is an enclosed, walled courtyard garden with mature shrubs, a 200 year old Mulberry bush sits at the centre of the garden.Guest access3 Masons Court is an entire 3 bedroom private home with private access forming a part of the larger Wealden hall that is Masons Court. The hall has over time been divided into 4 separate homes. The historic courtyard garden is a shared space, however all four properties have their own designated garden area. The private garden area belonging to 3 Masons Court is directly outside the rear door, it has mature trees and shrubs plus an area to dine or relax.Interaction with guestsI live 30 minutes drive from Stratford upon Avon, however there is also local contact 5 minutes away who can usually help immediately. There are many advantages: breakfast is absolutely amazing, in addition to the big road of milk bread and fruit coffee, the hotel offers a freshly prepared breakfast. A menu is attached to the picture. I am full of full English Breakfast, full of fullness, but the heat is very high! At the same time, there is a capsule coffee machine on the tea table, which can be brought back to the room to drink. The room is large, there is apple TV available, and the facilities are very good. Disadvantages: Of course, the hotel is a villa change, so there is no elevator inside, there are heavy boxes of their own attention. In addition, although there is a hair dryer, there is no electric kettle, and you need to bring your own. And a little distance from the city center (8 minutes), so buy something to go a little.

The service was great! There was an error with room allocation and as the booked room was not available, we got upgraded to a suite which was wonderful as we were celebrating a special milestone birthday. The dinner at the Trevellyn Restaurant was beyond expectation as we were vegetarian and the vegetarian meal prepared by the chef was awesome. The hotel decor itself looked a little tired although it added to the authentic look of the listed building. It was a hot weekend during our stay and although there was no air conditioning, a small fan was provided which made a little difference when sleeping at night. The gardens needed some upkeep and it would have been lovely if the fountains had been working. Overall we did enjoy our stay and look forward to coming back again after it has gone through some upgrading and refurbishing.

The room is large, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the facilities are complete, the parking is free, and the breakfast is superb! The room was very clean and the bathroom didn't have a taste. The couple are very enthusiastic and can communicate in Chinese. Breakfast is made now and delicious. The size and facilities of the room fully meet the needs of the accommodation. Parking is available in the yard in front of the door, with about 5 parking spaces. Next to the gas station. When it arrived, it was the first house next to the gas station, so don't walk. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the town center. Parking the car can be strolled around the town. The stairs are a bit steep, but the boss is very enthusiastic to help carry the box, and it doesn't feel inconvenient at all.

I spent two nights here for the Shakespeare celebrations and absolutely loved it. The house has such a perfect ambience — cozy and welcoming. The room was perfect, too: spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also liked that they had a TV in the room — it was nice to have it on for some white noise since I was travelling alone. Plus, they provided an electric kettle with instant coffee, milk, and tea, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was spotless, and the amenities (soap, towels, etc.) were complete. They offered several options for breakfast, but I always went with the English breakfast—and it was so good! Not to forget, cereals, fruit, jam, and milk were also available in the dining room. It's too bad I didn’t have the chance to enjoy the separate kitchen, but the street view from its window gave it such good vibes. I would definitely come back here if I revisit this city!

Couple with dog. For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did. On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us. We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did! I have a video of the water pressure. On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

The setting is super for visiting the sights and the hotel is a beautiful historic building. The modern spa was nice to use but we found the room quite basic and could do with a freshen up and very disappointed that there where no hot drink making facilities in the room. We had the breakfast included in our room cost and we were very disappointed in that - everything was swimming in grease and the black pudding and potato rosti were very over cooked so we could not finish our meal. The car park is £7 per nights stay but were were not made aware of this beforehand. We would probably stay again but would upgrade to a room in the old part of the building and won't have the cooked breakfast.
