The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Cambridge, close to many sights and attractions. The only downside is the room lacks a window. I booked it thinking it would have one, but upon arrival, I discovered it was a screen. The room lacked ventilation and had a slight odor. Otherwise, it was quite good, and the room was quite large.

Room is small and little bit old fashion style, this hotel is a historical hotel so it doesn’t affect it’s beauty. The room with Park view that awesome, pay 333 pounds per night is ok for the value!! breakfast is good and the hotel is in the town center so it’s very easier to get whatever you want, don’t stay at the hotel near the railway station because it’s still has a distance to the city center!! hotel allowed free bicycle renting service, that’s so nice!!

The staff were enthusiastic and had bright smiles. They arrived early in the morning when I changed hotels. The staff told me that my room had been cleaned and they immediately handed it over to me. The equipment is complete and the tableware is available. I can cook for one night. The location is good, it takes 6 minutes to get to John Lewis. I am very happy to have Smart TV, so I can watch YouTube which I usually follow. The disadvantage is that it is close to the street and it is a bit noisy downstairs.

It's simply great, whether it's breakfast or bedding. Clean, warm and cozy! There is also a kitchen to boil water, free mineral water... The towels are very clean, the hot shower is also very relaxing, decompressing, the temperature is very good, and I slept very well. The best thing is that it is very close to King's college, and it is very convenient to go everywhere. There is a bus for 2 pounds, or you can walk here, about 30 minutes. If you want to take a taxi, you can go directly back to the train station and call the taxi waiting there. It is very convenient! The location is very good and the hotel is very newly decorated! The ingredients provided for breakfast are very fresh, but I feel that the cooking method still needs to be improved. Overall, the convenience is very high. I was disappointed that my room was not cleaned, nor bed made, after my first night. The sign requesting not to be disturbed was hanging on the door handle inside the room. I only discovered the note instructing me to hang another sign, found with the towels on a chair in the room, on the outside handle requesting ”new towels”, if I wanted the room serviced. If the cleaners do not enter the room unless there is a visible request for new towels, what is the necessity of a sign requesting not to be disturbed? No one is going to come in. I fully understand the advantages of not replacing the towels every day - and endorse that. But I would have liked to be clearly informed of the note in the paper that came with my room ”key”.

Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞

The hotel is a very beautiful manor in the suburbs about 10km from Cambridge. There should be cows and sheep on the grassland in summer. I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. Was visiting a relative so needed a convenient place. My priority is cleanliness. Am coming from Asia / Tropics so was apprehensive over heat and non-aircon. Room was a bit warm but it cools at night esp if you leave window open. I had a handheld fan which served my purpose - I had it on the whole night to cool me. My room was on 3rd floor so it meant I had to climb 2 flights of steps each time I went up. With heavy luggage, this cld be a problem. The room was otherwise, clean, quaint and comfortable. Some may say small & old but that I didn’t mind. Small window overlooking the river and park - nice. Bathroom was small and shower if you are big, you won’t fit in. Otherwise clean. Surprised they provided daily breakfast which was simple but sufficient. Location is 10 mins walk from the city center. I walked to the train stn - that took me 40 mins. I love walking so enjoyed the walks to town and the open country (following the river away from the town centre). I stayed 2 nights; 1st ~ 56 quid and 2nd nite ~75 quid. Great value.
