If you want to take a taxi, you can go directly back to the train station and call the taxi waiting there. It is very convenient! The location is very good and the hotel is very newly decorated! The ingredients provided for breakfast are very fresh, but I feel that the cooking method still needs to be improved. Overall, the convenience is very high. I personally think it is one of the most comfortable hotels in Cambridge!

Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) .
I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip.

Lovation wise it might be even better than staying somewhere in Cambridge outskirts. breakfast was really nice but hotel/room is a bit outdated and needs a renovation. nonetheless it’s a good place for a short stay.

I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. The room was remodeled from the original dormitory, not quite but adequate, no air conditioning, slightly colder, breakfast quality is good, the environment is first-rate, it is recommended

It is very convenient to go to various colleges and there are many supermarkets nearby. The hotel gave a room at the end of the promenade. The room was large. The window was a decorative painting. It was not a big problem to stay for one night. After all, the hotels in the UK could not open the window. Cambridge tourists are like weaving, bustling, eating closed doors everywhere, not open to tourists, a large group of people are selling tickets, two people's ticket quotation 68, it is said that you can bargain, outrageous! If you want to see the sigh bridge, you must take a boat. There is King's College open grounds, 8 pounds a ticket, and I saw Xu Zhimobei.

Facilities: The room is large, spacious and bright, with good lighting and sufficient heating. The public toilets and showers are very clean, no worries at all.
Breakfast: The breakfast is very rich, you can eat in the student cafeteria, which is very high-end.
Environment: You can also visit the campus for free, and the scenery is great.
Others: We lived on the third floor, there was no elevator, and we needed to carry our own suitcases. The soundproofing of the room was average, but I was not affected at all. I highly recommend living here.

However card charged £105 receptionist was very helpful when this was pointed out the following morning and agreed to make enquiries on my behalf and get back to me. I have yet to hear from company to discuss the reason for the overpayment. But guessing this may take a couple of days.

Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic.
Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies.
In case you didn’t realise, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast of the hotel is also very good.
We have to thank Ctrip for staying in this hotel. We booked a hotel before, but we still couldn't check in after paying. Ctrip helped us find this Regent Hotel for free, and the check-in procedure went smoothly, which was much better than the hotel we booked before. Thanks to Ctrip again. 🙏🙏

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.
