Beautiful apart-hotel, in an excellent location - literally a minute walk from Queen street station. My wife and I were very impressed with the size, quality, cleanliness and modernity of the rooms - especially at the price we paid. Having spoken to some other guests the price per night we got with trip was substantially lower than the norm and it really felt like it too.

Great location. Stayed here before. Staff are friendly but it's really let down in other areas. Our room was filthy. Bed was fresh but the desk was sticky, carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered in weeks and when I went to plug in my phone beside the bed there was the remains of someone's peperami snack lying on the floor. Bathroom had a brown poo mark on the loo seat (which we cleaned!) And the loo floor was covered in long black hairs. I am platinum blonde and my friend has long dyed red hair... We told reception who offered to comp us breakfast but we had already paid for it so they just took the feedback. We asked for an iron and ironing board, and they were really pitiful appliances. They could do with an upgrade for sure. Oh and during breakfast the coffee machine was fully broken and was being taken apart...

Firstly our booking wasn’t confirmed so we had to wait until the communication between yourselves and Ibis Styles was rectified secondly there had been a disturbance in the Hotel , nothing to do with us , and the Police were knocking on our door at 5am in the morning , this was very scary and very upsetting. This incident spoiled our full weekend.

I particularly like it. It's very kind and friendly. It's just three minutes away from the train station. You don't have to worry about it raining. It's clean and tidy. There are (very sweet) desserts to eat. I feel happy when I wake up and drink coffee in the morning. I renewed it for two nights.

Perfect location in Glasgow right beside the train station Staff on reception were so friendly and lovely A four star hotel I'm not sure it is that. We have stayed in better travelodges . Room was very dated and tired looking . The paint work in bathroom was terrible and very dirty windows . Having said that the bed was very comfy even although the double room was so small for 2 of us .

The rooms are very simple and warm. The hotel is located in a small forest. There are plenty of parking spaces. When I was at the breakfast shop, I found that there was no Asian face. For the first time ever I phoned reception to complain about the noise. There was a function going on downstairs that was so obnoxious. When I called reception the guy who answered just sighed, told me that he'd had several complaints and the music would continue until 12.45... The corridor was SO noisy. All the doors are set to slam closed. And slam they do.... I was travelling with my 10 year old daughter. We both had a terrible night's sleep. Staff didn't ask how my stay was or how I'd slept when checking out. As a frequent traveller I think that's the first time this has happened. Probably just as well as I'd have told them.... The room was clean but there was no shampoo in the container in the bathroom. Very basic. Saving grace was the swimming pool. Especially with a 10 year old. We were allowed to swim in the morning which really cheered her up.

Fabulous location close to the centre, the M8 and close to the open top bus tour stops, we had 3 nights bed and breakfast at this location, reception staff were friendly on arrival and later in the evening when we were socialising in the bar area, the breakfast staff were amazing and informative in the dining area, the breakfast was a buffet and had loads on offer, the housekeeping team were amazing when we required extras for the room. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we will be back in the future!

Our trip to the Z hotel was very much a picture of great service, we were checked in patiently and promptly. Upon being in the room, we eventually found a maintenance issue, which couldn’t be fixed right away. In response, the staff changed our room, and offered us a choice of complimentary food or drink as an apology. Overall they were very kind and offered a friendly face every time we were at the desk, and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are small, admittedly, but that is by design and is shown when booking, the amenities are very good, and are definitely worth the price. The Z also offers a loyalty programme that is very much worth the time to look into.

overall a good hotel and staff are friendly but be prepared to do everything by yourself as they do not offer any service whatsoever. we had to make the sofa bed by ourselves & we called the front desk to get some toilet paper but they told us that we had to go down to request for it instead. located right by the city centre and its super walkable, the room is huge as well! will definitely stay here again if i ever go back to glasgow :)

Another great stay. Housekeeping turned up at 10am which was disappointing cause check out isn’t till 12pm, so made me feel a bit rushed to get out. Heaters in room don’t stay above 26c even though the dial goes to 32c and me being naturally cold meant I woke up quite a bit during the night as the room wasn’t warm enough. Highly recommend the hotel, great staff and great pool with Steam room and gym. Only real disappointing thing about the hotel is breakfast is like £18 and I’m not a big breakfast person just toast and coffee so it ain’t worth it for me I think there should be a cheaper option for light eaters.

Excellent hotel just what we needed for our 2 night stay for a wedding. Check in was quick & easy, room large clean & 2 double beds. Bathroom again very clean with good shower. Staff on front desk were very helpful & stored our bags for the day as we had an evening flight. It’s easy walking distance to shops & for eating/drinking a Wetherspoons is just 100yds away. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was clean but the decor very basic and outdated. Really small TV. Reception staff really nice and friendly. In regards to location it’s 15 min walk from central station but could be a trek walking back as uphill. Slept well but couldn’t control the heating so room was too warm. Windows can’t be opened too in our room. The biggest disappointment was no evening meal so don’t count on it. Haven’t check the breakfast as when asked at reception I have been told to check breakfast in the morning first and then come and pay if I like what I see so decided not to try it as had to leave very early the next day. Overall hotel for a price of odd £34 or so wasn’t bad but you have to be aware of not counting for a meal there.

You can walk from Central Station, but it's a little difficult if you have luggage because it's on a hill. It takes 6-7 minutes to get to the bus stop for the airport, so it's safe even early in the morning. The room was clean, had a bathtub, and was comfortable. The classical and calm atmosphere was also nice.

I like the service very much in a purely British hotel. I have to check out at 11 o'clock because the flight is still early. I negotiated with the hotel for a late checkout. The hotel originally said that it would charge 15 pounds for every hour of delay. Later, the hotel paid the delay fee. It’s worth recommending if you don’t need it.

The city center is cheap and there is a bar on the first floor. And it's 20-30 meters away from the train station center where I'm going to the meeting. This geographical location is absolutely amazing.
