Wish we could have spent more time there, and we would certainly plan to return and explore further.
Very clean, tidy, and spacious accommodation.
Fittings within the room and in the hotel were excellent. Linen and towels were of superb quality.
The service was excellent throughout, and all the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

She has 2 cute dogs and a pig in her family. She loves it. The English breakfast prepared by the hostess is also very rich. I really experienced what travel is there.

A menu is attached to the picture. I am full of full English Breakfast, full of fullness, but the heat is very high! At the same time, there is a capsule coffee machine on the tea table, which can be brought back to the room to drink. The room is large, there is apple TV available, and the facilities are very good. Disadvantages: Of course, the hotel is a villa change, so there is no elevator inside, there are heavy boxes of their own attention. In addition, although there is a hair dryer, there is no electric kettle, and you need to bring your own. And a little distance from the city center (8 minutes), so buy something to go a little.

The room was small and pretty basic, but it was clean with comfy beds so fine for overnight. The communication from staff was great - no onsite parking but a clear explanation of where the nearest car park was (very close) and how to get the best price. Very helpful staff. Didn't use the bar area so can't comment on food or drink, but it was welcoming and there was a pleasant outside area. Tea / coffee and kettle provided. Clean if small shower room. Overall really good value for the price and would definitely stay there again.

My son was unwell during the trip and it’s really comforting that the stay was great for him to rest and recover.
We had dinner in the hotel and the food was amazing!
The breakfast served was also good, we like the hot dishes that we chose English breakfast, scrambled eggs and salmon 👍!
Very cosy, comfortable and pleasant experience!

The room is large, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the facilities are complete, the parking is free, and the breakfast is superb! In fact, it should be an old manor transformation, the garden is super large, reminding me of Downton Manor. The little brother at the front desk is super humorous and has a rich expression.

The size and facilities of the room fully meet the needs of the accommodation. Parking is available in the yard in front of the door, with about 5 parking spaces. Next to the gas station. When it arrived, it was the first house next to the gas station, so don't walk. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the town center. Parking the car can be strolled around the town. The stairs are a bit steep, but the boss is very enthusiastic to help carry the box, and it doesn't feel inconvenient at all.

The room was perfect, too: spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also liked that they had a TV in the room — it was nice to have it on for some white noise since I was travelling alone. Plus, they provided an electric kettle with instant coffee, milk, and tea, which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was spotless, and the amenities (soap, towels, etc.) were complete.
They offered several options for breakfast, but I always went with the English breakfast—and it was so good! Not to forget, cereals, fruit, jam, and milk were also available in the dining room.
It's too bad I didn’t have the chance to enjoy the separate kitchen, but the street view from its window gave it such good vibes.
I would definitely come back here if I revisit this city!

For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did.
On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us.
We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did!
I have a video of the water pressure.
On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

|0.79km from city centreThe setting is super for visiting the sights and the hotel is a beautiful historic building. The modern spa was nice to use but we found the room quite basic and could do with a freshen up and very disappointed that there where no hot drink making facilities in the room.
We had the breakfast included in our room cost and we were very disappointed in that - everything was swimming in grease and the black pudding and potato rosti were very over cooked so we could not finish our meal.
The car park is £7 per nights stay but were were not made aware of this beforehand.
We would probably stay again but would upgrade to a room in the old part of the building and won't have the cooked breakfast.

The hotel lobby is like a living room, which also meets the style of Shakespeare's town. There is a famous saying of Shakespeare's works at the door of each room. Very interesting, The room is small, the facilities are retro, but very clean, the hotel is sitting on the central street of the town, behind is Shakespeare's birthplace, the town itself is not very big, the distance can be reached within walking distance, the most relaxed city in the whole trip, breakfast is cold buffet, Hot food, choose the main dish, pay attention to the coffee is a single charge, this is a little different from other hotel breakfast

Friendly, helpful staff; useful car park at the hotel and discount for hotel residents.
Very comfortable bed; good shower. Hotel could be described as old fashioned and a bit tired but that’s part of the charm.
