The room is not big, but it is acceptable for this location in London. The service provided by the lady at the front desk is very friendly. The location is also very convenient. There is a subway downstairs. The hotel is relatively small and the reception is in the basement.

From its location and the comfort of the building's exterior to the staff's service attitude, everything scores top marks! Although the hotel's buffet breakfast doesn't offer a wide variety, the quality is excellent, and it was a very comfortable dining experience, with the waitstaff being very attentive! Additionally, the service received at the hotel's main entrance and the exceptional care taken by the staff in handling our heavy luggage during checkout, ensuring it was transported downstairs to the taxi, was commendable. These experiences definitely make us want to return!

Great location close to Kings cross /St pancreas Station and not far from attractions, its 2 hotels in 1 that is predominantly used as a transit hotel for overseas tourist on day trips. The hotel is clean, and you need a room key card for the lift to move and also to get to the corridors of your room so security is good. Downsides are that outside noise enters easily due to the old metal windows and rooms a very warm, it can be noisy throughout the night as people arrive and leave at all times. We had a room with an interconnecting door that the people in the other room tried to open at 1.30 am when they first arrived , they were also incredibly noisey shouting once awake which was at 5am due to sightseeing trips with the noise coming through the doors really easily, so it disrupted our stay . The breakfast was very good with a good selection of full English and continental foods, which set you up for the day ahead. Would we use this hotel again ....possibly

For the price we paid, this was a very good deal! Location was great! Staff were very helpful too. I do however, think that the hotel should inform guests of the building works taking place out the back of the hotel prior to your stay though. What with the single glazed windows, we were woken up early on the Saturday of our stay due to the building works being very loud. Also we were in a room with an interconnecting door, which meant the sound proofing was at a minimum…..we could hear word for word the conversations of the guests next door and even when they were coughing!

Great location , within walking distance of Kings Cross and Euston stations, also close to Covent Garden. Nice area a with small shopping centre next door. Very efficient service and very nice breakfast. Perfect for a one night business stay or for a weekend seeing the sights. Russel Square metro station is just behind the hotel on the opposite side of the road , so easy to get everywhere.

The actual room is slightly smaller than the picture, and the two people live in a compact room. In addition, the internal environment is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the reception staff are warm and friendly. Equipped with elevator and laundry room, very friendly to tourists who need to wash clothes. The location is excellent, six or seven minutes walk from the British Museum, there are many restaurants around, there is a 24-hour supermarket, the subway station is just around the corner downstairs, very convenient. In addition, because it is located in the downtown area and facing the street, there will be noise at night, depending on the degree of personal acceptance.

The hotel has some cleanliness issues, especially the bathroom, which didn't feel clean. The bedroom had an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of smelly feet. However, the location is quite good, and considering its price, which is quite affordable for London, it's a decent option. A notable advantage is the availability of paid luggage storage, which is very convenient. There are both pros and cons to staying here. I hope the hotel can improve on the cleanliness aspect and continue to thrive. Best wishes for continued success! .

The manager on duty, was not particularly helpful or polite initially, after he thought about it, he was more helpful. Whilst I am grateful my problem was solved , it did leave a bad feeling. The head of housekeeping was much more amendable . Maybe they should swap jobs.

We were originally booked into the Beauchamp but a few days prior were moved to their sister hotel next door called the Portland. We were very disappointed to see the difference in accommodation compared to the photos of the Beauchamp we had booked - the Portland is extremely dated and not modern looking like the other. After a long day in London and late evening being spent at BST Hyde Park, this was disappointing to arrive to. Not only this - the hotel corridors are so narrow it is like a marble run trying to navigate your way round, When we arrived to our room, it was extremely hot to the point of sweating - we had to instantly open all windows and luckily found two big fans in the cupboard which we had to leave on all night. Also, although a quad was booked and in the photos this shows two double beds - we arrived to one double bed and a pull out sofa bed with a paper thin mattress - my poor daughter barely slept do to being uncomfortable and it feeling like she was being poked in the back. This being said - the reception staff were always lovely, polite and very attentive. We were offered free breakfast which we went to the Beauchamp to have and on walking in we could definitely see it was more modern - and the cooked breakfast was actually lovely, staff were very nice and service was quick. One request would be to have the offer of a latte/cappuccino etc. rather than just your standard tea and filter coffee. So to sum it up - don't book the Portland over the two :)

Amazing front desk and housekeeping team! There’s a lady from Bangladesh who has big smiles and very helpful when we have late lunch at the lobby restaurant. One thing that I don’t really like is that there’s a scaffolding wrapping around the entire hotel and they started the drilling and pounding work at 9 am sharp.

I have been to multiple hotel in london. I would say this hotel is the most reasonable price with best location. The only things I was not expected was at least they should provide a bottle of water and a slipper... Apparently the carpet was bit marked and I have to wear to shoes all the time... Apart from that overall, I am happy with this places.

There was a complimentary ferry rides drom the hotel to Canary Wharf which we really enjoyed. Restaurants are near and lots of options. The room looks really clean and smelled clean as well. When we checked out, we just took a ferry from the hotel to Westminster pier.

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Accommodation is close to places to eat such as the KFC Burger King Nando. Tesco Lotus Express is open 24 hours. Anyone traveling by subway is convenient. Not far from the accommodation, large room with a double bed, but the disadvantage is that there is no water provided. And change the sheets every 2 days. We stay 5 nights, change just 2 times but rearrange the bed every day. Overall, very satisfied. Lovely staff Very informative and helpful, very impressed. If there is a chance, I will go back to stay again. Also nearby is Harrods, just 25 minutes walk. For those who like to walk, can walk straight away.

Mimi's Hotel Soho
4/5116 Reviews

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great a**osphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
