The place is very clean, and it's not far from major attractions like the British Museum, Big Ben, and the London Eye. There are also quite a few Chinese restaurants, including Malatang and hot pot, which is perfect for Chinese tourists visiting the UK who are looking for familiar flavors.

The room was pretty standard, but it was clean, tidy, and met basic expectations. Breakfast was very limited, with few options, and definitely not worth the price. The white staff at the front desk were polite, which was a stark contrast to some others. It made me wonder if some of the Indian staff felt a bit too self-important. The tall, slender staff member at the entrance saw me leaving with my child in the light rain and immediately offered me an umbrella. That was a really thoughtful gesture! 👍 Just a quick note on the TV programming – pretty limited. 😮💨 The bathroom had a towel drying rack, which was fantastic – my sports socks dried completely overnight! 😝

Location is great, very close to King’s Cross station and St. Pancras station. Many attractions such as The British Museum, Convent Garden, Coal Drop Yard etc. are all in a walkable distance. However, due to the heat wave, extremely hot weather, while waiting for check in at the lobby, the waiting queue is super long, it was very hot and unbreathable. There is also no AC or fan in the room, and no fridge. With a strap tied to the window, we could only open a small gap, not enough for the oxygen to enter the room. It was too hot during the night, the room was like an oven, we couldn’t sleep, had to get to the lobby to ask for a solution, the staffs said that they have fan for borrow, but that night they already lended it all out. They marked our room number and said will deliver a fan to our room the next night, but the other night after we get back to our room we did not see any fan in our room. Lastly, the lock of our bathroom is broken.

The room size was decent, easily accommodating both a 22-inch and 24-inch suitcase. The bathroom included toiletries, and daily housekeeping was quite prompt. While the hair dryer and kettle were a bit dusty (and the kettle, in particular, had noticeable limescale), they were easy to clean yourself. For filtered water, there's a dispenser in the ground floor corridor towards the National Royal Hotel. The front desk staff during check-in were somewhat unenthusiastic/indifferent, but they do offer free luggage storage. The hotel is within walking distance of the British Museum, and there are convenient bus stops right outside. From Heathrow, take the Piccadilly Line (the blue line) to Russell Square station. Be advised that after exiting the train, you'll still need to climb a flight of stairs before you can access the elevator to street level! Downsides: The room lacked air conditioning and a refrigerator. Being street-facing, it wasn't particularly quiet. If these are important to you, you might want to consider other options.

The room was quite small; with two beds, there was barely any space to move around. **Cleanliness:** This was genuinely poor. The bedsheets had visible stains and marks, and they weren't changed once during my entire 6-day stay. When the bed was made, it was obvious the duvet had been thrown on the floor, as the sheets picked up carpet fibers and hair – it was frankly disgusting. Even the drinking glasses weren't cleaned daily; I'd return after a day out to find they hadn't been replaced with fresh ones. I called the front desk, and a staff member came in, just quickly rinsed the glass by hand, and seemed to think that was perfectly acceptable.

The room and overall facilities felt quite dated. My window unfortunately overlooked a refuse collection point, and I was often disturbed by the noise and beeping of garbage trucks early in the mornings. Cleanliness was only average. The main redeeming factor is definitely the location, which is fantastic for tourists. It's just a 3-minute walk to Russell Square tube station. There's also a convenience store and a vibrant street with plenty of dining options, including a Nando's, right nearby.

It is very close to the British Museum, which can be reached in eight minutes on foot. There are also many supermarkets and restaurants around, which makes life very convenient. The apartment has a kitchen, so you can make some simple food. It is very close to the subway station, so it is convenient to go anywhere.

The Tavistock Hotel is in a great location. 10 min walk to either Russell Square or Euston Square tube stations. Lovely area for walking around, feels safe. The hotel itself is very good. Reception was always friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean as was the bathroom. Lifts are quick, which is always a plus!! Breakfast buffet was good, great choice of food, restaurant staff all polite and efficient.

We were originally booked into the Beauchamp but a few days prior were moved to their sister hotel next door called the Portland. We were very disappointed to see the difference in accommodation compared to the photos of the Beauchamp we had booked - the Portland is extremely dated and not modern looking like the other. After a long day in London and late evening being spent at BST Hyde Park, this was disappointing to arrive to. Not only this - the hotel corridors are so narrow it is like a marble run trying to navigate your way round, When we arrived to our room, it was extremely hot to the point of sweating - we had to instantly open all windows and luckily found two big fans in the cupboard which we had to leave on all night. Also, although a quad was booked and in the photos this shows two double beds - we arrived to one double bed and a pull out sofa bed with a paper thin mattress - my poor daughter barely slept do to being uncomfortable and it feeling like she was being poked in the back. This being said - the reception staff were always lovely, polite and very attentive. We were offered free breakfast which we went to the Beauchamp to have and on walking in we could definitely see it was more modern - and the cooked breakfast was actually lovely, staff were very nice and service was quick. One request would be to have the offer of a latte/cappuccino etc. rather than just your standard tea and filter coffee. So to sum it up - don't book the Portland over the two :)

Great hotel! highly recommended! Excellent location, go straight to the British Museum, walk for three minutes, walk 6 minutes from Holborn subway station. The hotel service is particularly good. From the door, there is a service staff who takes the initiative to open the door and take the baggage. It is already in the room when you check in. When you leave, someone will help with the baggage, and you don't even need to bring it out. This is for traveling alone. It’s really great! At 11 o'clock, I have not yet arrived at the check-in time. The front desk will arrange a free lobby for a tea break. No matter where I see the service staff, I will always say hello and friendly greetings, full of service awareness. Breakfast is traditional English and is as varied as it was when you were studying at Oxford. The hotel decoration also has a strong traditional British flavor, the room is very clean, the hot water is very good, I have a service staff to send a small biscuit to welcome after the check-in, go out at night and find someone cleaned the room. Because the hotel is in the heart of London, the room size is not that big. If you want to experience the traditional British style and exquisite service, this is definitely a good choice! Although it is a bit more expensive, I personally feel that it is very worthwhile to experience travel to London!

I'm Korean. I felt a little uncomfortable every time I went in because of the smell of cigarettes. I opened the window and went out, but since the floor is also carpeted, the smell must have permeated. And seeing people smoking on the street without a care made me think they smoked at home too. I found a cigarette butt as soon as I entered, but it seemed like the cleaning staff smoked it. Other than that, the rest of the place was spacious and clean, and Queen's Park Station was 5 minutes away, which was nice.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

A weekend stop off with parking available on site for a fee or cheaper locally with limited space available. Use of river crossing directly outside free staying at the hotel. 20 min walk to train station or bus stops outside in use once water works complete. But a 5 min walk and buses run frequently. Only use the hotel as a base to sleep so did not try any facilities.

This hotel is very well located right by the Stratford station, which is great for getting round central London without paying the high hotel prices. That said, this place was very expensive for a 3-star hotel and not the best experience. The rooms are ok but quite small, and the area is loud - packed your earplugs. The mattress was too soft for my liking. We stayed for 3 nights but the daily cleaning service wasn’t very comprehensive, often just making the bed, dropping off towels but not cleaning very well. We’ve stayed at other Moxys in other countries and this was probably the worst, though it wasn’t completely bad. The staff were nice, and the common area downstairs is nicely designed.

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

We stayed for a concert at Wembley. On check in the reception staff gave is lots of helpful information - the 92 bus goes directly to Wembley stadium, and that it would be a slightly different pick up point. We actually decided to walk back rather than join the crowded public transport, but it was quite a long walk, I’d recommend walking a short way out of the crowds then back on the 92. The room was nice & bed very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was nice with a mix of continental & English breakfast items. I’d definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

the room was a good size for one person. the ceiling was rather low, especially in the bathtub where one has to stand inside to take showers. even for me and i’m a small person (165cm/5’4). overall bathtub/shower arrangement was awkward. with only narrow glass partition, water would go everywhere. the water pressure was strong, so that’s a silver lining. appreciated how fluffy and comfy the bathrobe was. the linens felt crisp clean and most of other stuff in the room. but the teaspoons were dirty. the breakfast was okay. the staffs were nice. the location was good. there is a bus stop very close, hammersmith station is only 25 min on foot, a good shawarma place was nearby, and right next to it there’s sainsbury local. the neighborhood felt safe, which was one of the most important conditions i was looking for. final thought: mixed. most parts were okay, some not.

Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
