The appearance of the hotel is a bit old, but it is considerate, well-equipped, and there are many plugs, which are convenient for charging. There are two bottles of water, one is sparkling water and the other is distilled water. There is a fan and the toilet is very windy. Water pressure is also strong. There is also Jiawan, and the room area is larger than other hotels of the same level. The best location is convenient, and it is convenient to take Eurostar/underground. There are also shopping and dining stores nearby, and the price ratio is very high.

The room is okay but in the basement. Understandable for the cheap price comparing to surrounding hotels. There is a minor smell in the room due to old building but it is not too bad. Location is great to the train station.

The vomit on the pavement directly outside the hotel was still there when we left on Wednesday two days later! Its presence on Monday was a clear indicator we were in the wrong hotel. The tourists checking in families from China and beyond and paying thousands were surely wholly unimpressed!  There were also being severely overcharged and compelled to leave cash deposits! Presumably in case they get to their rooms and choose not to stay. Overall This property is low low level accommodation and in desperate need of improvement on every level. All areas are  in very poor repair (see pictures), there clearly has been no investment in maintenance for decades! Add the poor access, (stairs to the lift and after the lift) narrow stair wells that don’t safely accommodate you carrying luggage, and absolutely no support or assistance offered, and our immediate inclination was to leave. We couldn’t however because dynamic pricing policy dictated alternative hotels were now charging extortionate amounts for similar below  average / average options and funds don’t allow. The rooms had been cleaned but as in such disrepair the cleaners job is made impossible! The location is perfect for kings x and St Pancras stations but beware constant noise from sirens accompany the convenience of the location. The bed linen was in poor repair with tears and holes, the duvet and pillows were old. The shower enclosure leaked badly, walls ceilings and skirting boards were damaged and shoddily ‘repaired’ ( sack whoever did that ). The sink plug hole is full of hair, the basin tap is loose, the room is so tiny it is certainly a single at best, and ideally purposed as a cupboard. The window frame is falling apart, the separate ‘double glazing’ sliding panel serves to reduce noise  very slightly but does not offer any additional function as it is ill fitting. I could go on with advice not to book this hotel, but life is short, and my point is hopefully made. In the interests of balance, I should add I ultimately found 4 positives - I had to work hard to do this! 1.on the hottest day of the year, the room actually had air conditioning (it was old and  noisy but it worked). I was grateful .   2. There was a plentiful supply of teabags and coffee sachets.  3. There was a small fridge ( hadn’t been defrosted in months but it was clean  4. The room was ‘serviced’ on day 2, unlike many establishments where you have to actually request fresh towels - the towels too were old and hard and small but I promised myself I would t go on with the negatives so I’ll stop!

Access/Location: It's genuinely close to King's Cross, just a 5-minute walk away. Security: The property features secured access. Facilities & Cleanliness: With only one toilet and two showers/bathrooms per floor, it was quite inconvenient, to say the least. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness wasn't great, but then again, you get what you pay for. To make matters worse, the two days I stayed were incredibly hot, and there was only a very small fan available. Service: The front desk staff were quite good. Overall: Considering the price point, it was just about acceptable.

Boutique hotel and located in a refurbished town house. We stayed in a junior suite on the first floor near the main door and could hear the door closing as guests tended to slam the door. But overall good location and experience!

I was pleased in general with this booking although I had a scary fifteen minutes at the start when the hotel said they hadn’t received my booking from Trip. com! It was sorted by the bloke on reception so all was well. The hotel is really well situated and though small I found it very comfortable. Clean, well serviced and with friendly helpful staff.

Great little hidden gem in London. The room was compact but immaculate with an amazing shower/toiletries and facilities. The bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Perfect location for jumping on the tube to get around the city with a 5 minute walk to KC or St. Pancras stations. Staff were polite, attentive, and welcoming. Plus, the added bonus of luggage storage to continue exploring after checking out.

Hotel lobby is nice and welcoming, however, hotel room is average, and carpet is slightly dirty and not well maintained. Decent hotel to stay.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dockside and had a generally pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement. Location: The hotel is a bit removed from the city centre, which means you'll need to plan your travel carefully. We found ourselves relying mostly on the boat to Canary Wharf, which, while scenic, adds some time and coordination to each outing. Check-in Experience: The check-in process was a highlight. We were greeted warmly with the signature DoubleTree cookies – a small but lovely surprise. Even more thoughtful, the staff noted that we were celebrating a birthday and offered us two complimentary drinks at the bar. That personal touch really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Room Comfort: The room was comfortable enough, but there were a couple of issues worth noting. The soundproofing wasn’t great – we could clearly hear the sea waves throughout the night, which might be relaxing for some, but was a bit disruptive for us. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. We found garbage left in the bin, which detracted from the overall sense of hygiene and attention to detail. Overall: This hotel has some lovely, thoughtful staff and a few standout gestures that enhanced our stay. However, its distance from central London and a few cleanliness and soundproofing issues might not make it ideal for every traveller. With a bit more attention to room maintenance, it could be a much stronger option.

The temperature controls in the rooms can be challenging. The whole hotel is either set on ”air con” or ”heating”, You have a choice of whether or not to turn something on, but no control over the actual temperature of what is blowing in your room. Although I asked downstairs if it was ”air con” as the weather was quite warm...and was told it was....they changed it overnight and it went to heating. When I woke up my room was above 25degrees. It was like a sauna. It isn't possible to cool the room back down with the small window crack you can manage and the train station noise is very close. It can be awkward.

The hotel is in a good location, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, and the combination of movement and stillness is very good! The big bed plus a sofa bed, the sofa bed is generally comfortable, but the sofa bed is very wide, and it can be opened as a double bed. The front desk service is very good, and they will greet you when you enter and leave. The restaurant service is also very good. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is good, and it costs 4 pounds per cup in the Oxford restaurant. The room is cleaned every day, and supplies for multiple people are provided. It is highly recommended. It takes 15 minutes to walk back to the hotel from the London Eye, passing by the British characteristics on the street.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

We stayed for a concert at Wembley. On check in the reception staff gave is lots of helpful information - the 92 bus goes directly to Wembley stadium, and that it would be a slightly different pick up point. We actually decided to walk back rather than join the crowded public transport, but it was quite a long walk, I’d recommend walking a short way out of the crowds then back on the 92. The room was nice & bed very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was nice with a mix of continental & English breakfast items. I’d definitely stay again.

Unfortunately  not a gd nights sleep, stayed in 3 different rooms in the first 24 hrs of our stay due to very uncomfortable squeaky beds and gave up after the 3rd room as we couldn’t face being moved again.. rooms very dated and in need of major modernisation. Location was not great for us as it’s a 15 minute walk to the nearest tube station (Kensington high street) as Kensington Olympia tube station is only 5 minutes away but tubes only arrive there weekends and are few and far between but that’s our fault for not researching that correctly. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was 1st class ..  If only the hotels room  deco was at the same standard as the staff/breakfast this would have been a top 5/5 hotel except the location didn’t suit us.
