I recently stayed at Cosmos Capsule Coworking London and had a pleasant experience overall. This capsule hotel offers a unique blend of accommodation and coworking space at an affordable price, making it ideal for travelers who need a place to work and rest. The hotel is conveniently located on Hanbury Street, just an 11-minute walk from Aldgate East station. Its central location makes it easy to explore London or commute to nearby areas. Just outside the hotel, at 67 Hanbury Street, is a charming Chai and Coffee shop called Chaii Town that I highly recommend. They offer a great variety of Chai flavors and pastries. I tried their Ginger Chai and Chai Latte, both of which were delicious. Their exotic pastries, like Dubai Cookies and Matcha Cookies, pair perfectly with the aromatic Chai. The owner was wonderful, and the hospitality was exceptional. The capsules are well-designed and functional. Each capsule features ambient lighting with customizable colors—blue, pink, green, yellow, or white—which adds a nice touch of personalization. There’s also a TV screen and headphones provided, though I didn’t use them during my stay. The capsules are not soundproof, so a good night’s rest depends on the courtesy of fellow guests. Fortunately, everyone during my stay was considerate, and I slept well. Earbuds are provided in the capsule just in case. The shared spaces, including the showers and toilets, were very clean. The shared kitchen area includes essentials like a sink, microwave, kettle, tea, and cups. One standout feature is the massage chair in the common area, which offers a fantastic massage after a long day. There’s no traditional reception desk. Instead, check-in is automated via a WhatsApp message or email with an access code. This code grants entry to the building and a small box containing your key card. The process is straightforward and efficient once you get used to it. While the shared spaces were immaculate, the capsules could use a bit more attention. I noticed hairs from previous guests on the blanket, which suggests that cleaning standards could be improved. Overall Experience: Cosmos Capsule Coworking London is a great option for budget-conscious travelers who need a comfortable place to stay and work. The location, amenities, and unique capsule design make it a memorable experience. With a little more focus on capsule cleanliness, it would be perfect.

Pros Not too bad a location, can get a little uncomfortable at night for solo travellers while heading back as there are few people loitering around. Smart rooms, control panel control the lights and the signs for the door. Compact room but it's cosy for one. Cons (scary encounter) Someone rang my doorbell and tried to force open the room door in the middle of the night. Luckily i locked it from the inside and door couldn't be opened. It happened twice within the same night. There was no room phone so i had to call the hotel from my own mobile, and feeling puzzled, 2 staff came up to my room to clarify. They then told me a drunk 'guest' was 'assisted' to come up the hotel rooms, but she had actually went to the wrong hotel. Weird explanation, because firstly, a room key is needed to access the lift. Secondly, if the person who assisted the drunk guest is a hotel staff who owns a master key since he's able to access the lift, he should've verify her identity prior to allowing the guest up the rooms premises. Its a safety concern. What if I did not lock the room door from the inside? The drunk guest could have just barged in and i as a female, was staying alone. Lastly, there was no kettle, only 2 bottles of water.

I'm Korean. I felt a little uncomfortable every time I went in because of the smell of cigarettes. I opened the window and went out, but since the floor is also carpeted, the smell must have permeated. And seeing people smoking on the street without a care made me think they smoked at home too. I found a cigarette butt as soon as I entered, but it seemed like the cleaning staff smoked it. Other than that, the rest of the place was spacious and clean, and Queen's Park Station was 5 minutes away, which was nice.

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

Use of river crossing directly outside free staying at the hotel. 20 min walk to train station or bus stops outside in use once water works complete. But a 5 min walk and buses run frequently. Only use the hotel as a base to sleep so did not try any facilities.

This hotel is very well located right by the Stratford station, which is great for getting round central London without paying the high hotel prices. That said, this place was very expensive for a 3-star hotel and not the best experience. The rooms are ok but quite small, and the area is loud - packed your earplugs. The mattress was too soft for my liking. We stayed for 3 nights but the daily cleaning service wasn’t very comprehensive, often just making the bed, dropping off towels but not cleaning very well. We’ve stayed at other Moxys in other countries and this was probably the worst, though it wasn’t completely bad. The staff were nice, and the common area downstairs is nicely designed.

The location was great. The Natural History Museum, Science Museum, and B-Pack are all nearby, and the famous British tourist sites are within 35 minutes. The bus stop and station are close by, and there are several supermarkets within walking distance, so you can get used to being immersed in Britain. Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the park, metro, restaurants etc. Breakfast was nice, but don't expect lots of food. For a short stay in London, this hotel was a very good find. We stayed for a concert at Wembley. On check in the reception staff gave is lots of helpful information - the 92 bus goes directly to Wembley stadium, and that it would be a slightly different pick up point. We actually decided to walk back rather than join the crowded public transport, but it was quite a long walk, I’d recommend walking a short way out of the crowds then back on the 92. The room was nice & bed very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was nice with a mix of continental & English breakfast items. I’d definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

However, the PIC of front office on that night we arrived in hotel were very helpful on arranging the change of hotel for us, sorry I didn't get the name of the staff as it was so late and we are too tired.

the room was a good size for one person. the ceiling was rather low, especially in the bathtub where one has to stand inside to take showers. even for me and i’m a small person (165cm/5’4). overall bathtub/shower arrangement was awkward. with only narrow glass partition, water would go everywhere. the water pressure was strong, so that’s a silver lining. appreciated how fluffy and comfy the bathrobe was. the linens felt crisp clean and most of other stuff in the room. but the teaspoons were dirty. the breakfast was okay. the staffs were nice. the location was good. there is a bus stop very close, hammersmith station is only 25 min on foot, a good shawarma place was nearby, and right next to it there’s sainsbury local. the neighborhood felt safe, which was one of the most important conditions i was looking for. final thought: mixed. most parts were okay, some not.

Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.

I went to London with my daughter for a short break. I booked at last minute for one night at this hotel which is great choice for location, room size & condition and customer service. We didn’t have breakfast so no comment on food. I wish we could stayed longer but the next day was fully booked. Would recommend this hotel to anyone to visit London.

Lovely hotel in a great central location for everything wanted to do. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The choice for breakfast was excellent and we ate in the restaurant one evening and again, the food was lovely. Will definitely be staying here again.
