Hyatt Regency Taghazout

Very nice and clean hotel, Since we got there the receptionist Name Hicham was beyond 5 start, professionnel and helpful and He was ansewring to all my questions with no doubt, the team also was perfect, and also was guy Name ayoub in breakfast profesionnel beyong my expectation really i think He love what hes doing thank to the whole team hyatt regency agadir all i can say, Bravo fa i will come back for sure 100 %

We have had a great stay here, the facilities are new and services are attentive. Beach club has lovely setting with wonderful view , the bartender-Hanzah serves us his creative cocktails with a happy smile 🍸 The gym coach -Abdal is an also great person with positive spirit. He joined us to play some Paddel tennis when there were no one else to play with us. ( advice for the hotel - you could put a sign in list under the paddle board/posters around the hotel for hotel guests to play a match together , such a pity to have have two nice courts but no one plays on them ) The buffet restaurant team are also very nice, accommodating. The food is generally good but not exceptional. We would definitely come back again if we are ever visit Agadir again The location is great , short distance walk to the fishermen village

Love this hotel, so wonderful for families. The children absolutely loved it, kids club, (Fattie took great care of the kids). pool, activities, live music, horse riding, body surfing. So much to do it’s full of activities. The food was great especially the kid’s menu,(thank you Safa) loved the gym, the sports coach always super helpful, club lounge was also great, and the general manager always on hand to help with any needs. Looking forward to going again.

Very nice hotel especially with the Eva and her sport dance sessions I learned that she’s no longer working for the hotel If she comes back will be better. My best of are : water polo, aqua gym with Eva, fitness courses and yoga with Eva, I highly recommend this hotel with the beautiful staff

Our first family vacation to Morocco lived up to our expectations with amazing hospitality from staff, especially given it was Ramadan and so hot on some days! Clean, safe, kids loved the heated pool and the food was amazing. We were so impressed with how hospitable the staff were, from Raja at the restaurant, to Amin at the beach club (extremely kind to our kids!) who made amazing cocktails, Salim at the lobby bar, Musaod (sorry for the incorrect spelling) at the swimming pool who made sure we were comfortable and last but not least, Safae and her team at the pool bar for looking after us during our stay. There was a slight problem with a smell in our room and we were moved quickly to the room opposite, this made all the difference as the room facing the pool had a far better vibe. I do agree with some of the earlier reviews, we found the reception staff weren’t always hospitable. I appreciate they have a LOT of demands but as front reception desk, you would expect better interaction, as we found with the rest of the hotel staff. For example, the lady at check in, indicated where all the amenities/restaurants were by pointing them out half heartedly from the hotel door, without walking us or even acknowledging that they might be busy…we had to ask her to share information on spa, tennis, restaurants…first impressions are important. This awkward communication continued when simply enquiring about the bill (we were not aware that there were city taxes added on daily), which we were very happy to pay but would have appreciated this communicated in a more helpful manner. The food was beautiful! Restaurants had a good variety of Moroccan and continental options, with the kids catered for. The kids club is brilliant and our definite highlight was the short tennis (although not sure why you’re having to pay for it in addition)! Having said this, we loved our stay, and would happily return to Hyatt and a Taghazout in the future for a family holiday!

First time at the Regency. We had a lovely day at the pool . The view and weather was amazing As well the food at the bar was so delicious hatim he’s a good server and also Safae was checking on us making sure that we’re having a good time . Looking forward to come back

I stayed here with my 9 year old son. It was during Ramadan so perhaps the staff weren’t at their best. Even so we had a great stay. We loved being able to walk straight onto the beach and into Taghazout. There’s a gteat promenade.

Amazing hotel, staff make you feel like royalty and are super polite. From arrival everything was perfect we got upgraded due to me accidentally booking a twin room instead of king. We also had a flight leaving in the evening so they let us have our room till our transfer came due to the hotel not being busy. We had trouble locating the transfer (from an external company) however the hotel manager rang the company and located it for us with the time of pick up saving us any stress. Pool and beach are lovely really no need to leave the hotel if you want a relaxing getaway. They have a rep where you can book activities and taxi’s at reception they gave us recommendations on where to eat what to see etc. We went to the Souk and Marina in Agadir as well as nearby surfer village in Tagzahout. We went during Ramadan so it was a bit quiet everywhere however we were greeted with super kind local people everywhere. The only thing you might want to take into account is that there is no restaurants within walking distance and you pretty much have to eat at the hotel which is priced higher than locally owned restaurants however the food is very nice at the hotel so we didn’t mind. We also had 2 days of rain where there wasn’t much to do other than go the spa! So if going in the colder months i would definitely recommend researching and preparing some activities to save you being bored.
