Great location just on edge of village so very quiet but easy to get to restaurants supermarket . Reception person very friendly and welcoming, breakfast staff also very friendly and quick to ensure you’re satisfied offering more coffee etc. Court yard and terrace great to chill. Large room Good shower and bathroom. Ample plug points. Brilliant continental breakfast with wide range of meats cheeses bread pastries yoghurt etc of (no hot food) Noisy neighbours clunking about due to design of building. You can here water running and toilet flushing. Also noise from staff preparing breakfast etc - ideally wear earplugs if you’re a light sleeper . Don’t let this put you off though the positives outweigh this.

And to congratulate SOL the hotel's cook and coach ( the fellow was on holiday ) , because he was watchful to our dinners by making even menus that commented on us the day before to know if it was of our taste. Just back from a 7 night stay in this parador. A lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms and a fantastic gardens with views over the town of San Sebastian and back to Tenerife. Very helpful staff. We did half board. Buffet breakfast were excellent. Following a late arrival we did eat in the hotel once ....it was ok, if a little expensive compared to what was on offer in town. The hotel is a 5-600 MTR walk to the town, but with a vertical gain of approx 70 MTRS. Bear this in mind if you have mobility issues.
