Went to this hotel with high expectations, but overall disappointing experience. Upon arrival no explanation about the hotel from the receptionist (no information about the sauna, dinner, wifi…). The hotel was not aware that we had booked half board. We had to ask for this ourselves and after much difficulty we were able to reserve a table in the restaurant. The next day the same problem, with much difficulty they were able to free a table for us, even though we had booked half board well before. Someone from the hotel staff refused to serve us because she did not speak English. Very outdated room with musty smell. Hygiene is an area for improvement (toothpaste splashes on the mirror, hair of previous guest in bathroom ...). Bathroom is also very small. The only positive thing about this hotel is the food which we really enjoyed.

JAZZ-KLAVIER-LOUNGE Ein gelungener Abend mit Musik und Essen! Musik 👍👍👍, das Essen👍👍👍 sehr gut, Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, Die Übernachtung im Brunnenhaus und das Frühstück waren wie immer perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Het water stond in 2021 10 meter hoog! Een ravage maar dit hotel laat je er niets van merken. Lekker eten met een top service! Fijne wellness. Men doet zijn best om weer op te krabbelen! Hotel is lekker en mooi gerenoveerd! Geniet hier en wandel en besef!

Ein wirklich sehr angenehmes Hotel. Unser Zimmer im Brunnenhaus mit Blick auf die Ahr war perfekt ausgestattet, sogar mit kleiner Küche incl. Kühlschrank. Das Essen im Rahmen unseres Fastnachts-Arrangements war überdurchschnittlich gut, sowohl das Frühstück als auch die sehr schmackhaften Abendmenus. Und das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und mega freundlich. Der Wellnessbereich soll auch sehr schön sein. Und Altenahr ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen!!

Très bon hôtel très bien situé. Un accueil assez chaleureux malgré quelques barrières linguistiques. Les chambres sont très propres et la literie confortable. Le restaurant de l’hôtel propose un large éventail de plats régionaux. La vinothèque est très bien fournie en vins de la vallée de l’Ahr. Beaucoup de balades d’offrent à vous, dans les hauteurs comme dans les vignobles, avec des difficultés variant de douce à assez fortes.

Ein sehr schönes Wochenende. Das nach der Flut neu eröffnet und komplett renoviert wurde. Alles ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bringt eine tolle Wohlfühl Atmosphäre mit. Nach einer Wanderung in der Umgebung hatten wir ein spitzen,Genießer 5 Gäng Meue. Die Zimmer mit Balkon sind großräumig und toll eingerichtet. Mit Blick auf die Ahr.

Op 8 Augustus 2022 arriveerden wij bij Hotel Ruland. Na de water catastrofe van 2021 was het Hotel pas 3 weken geleden geopend. Mijn complimenten voor de enorme renovatie. De ontvangst was hartelijk, de kamer uitstekend en het ontbijt helemaal geweldig. Maar niet alleen dat alles, maar ook de perfecte bediening.

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel direkt an der Ahr gelegen. Komplette Sanierung wie ein Neubau nach der Flutkatastrophe. Nettes Personal, alles sehr gepflegter Superior Standart. Grosse Zimmer [ mit Balkon ], aber bei mir etwas kleines Bad mit Rain- Shower Dusche. Frühstück war sehr lecker in gediegen ausgestatteten Räumlichkeiten. Restaurant konnte ich leider nicht testen. Sieht aber toll aus [ mit Terrasse zur Ahr ] auf gehobenem Niveau. Aufzug, Wellnessbereich mit Sauna; großer Parkplatz hinter dem Haus mit 4 E- Ladesäulen.

Eigentlich hatte ich das Restaurant in guter Erinnerung, allerdings ist das Geschichte was die Qualität des Essens angeht. Langweilige Zusammenstellung der Speisen, damit meine ich die Beilagen, die nicht sehr schmackhaft waren, Salat zu stark gewürzt, Pommes frites im Kern matschig. Das Wiener Schnitzel zu groß und teilweise nur fritierte Panade. Somit wird ein weiterer Besuch dort nicht stattfinden. Das Restaurant wurde erneuert und gegen eine etwas modernere Einrichtung ausgetauscht. Alles in allem sind die Erwartungen für uns nicht in Erfüllung gegangen, deshalb kein weiterer Besuch.
