Pestana Alvor Park Suites Aparthotel

Have stayed many times at this hotel and always enjoyed its friendly helpful but not intrusive staff. It’s in a good location, clean and efficient, present atmosphere. The WiFi is good and the pool areas excellent. I can’t comment on the food or bar as we love to eat out in town or self cater but the areas and ambience looks good. The self catering is quite limited ( microwave dishes need improvement) and some of the furnishings are getting tired. The tv has very limited English Chanel’s. That said I really enjoy our visits here and will be returning for Christmas and the New Year.

It was as always a real pleasure to return to Alvor Park. The accommodation is excellent and it is only a short walk from the beautiful beach and boardwalk. What makes this place so very special however is the staff: all the staff are so welcoming, so efficient and so helpful.

Our week at Pestana Park in Alvor was lovely. Full kitchenette for all your snackie needs with a great view of the ocean from our 4th floor room. The cleaning staff was thorough and any questions we had about local transit were promptly answered. Compared to my bed at home it was a little stiff but that's more personal preference than a complaint. I found that it was a really quiet stay but that may be because most of the other vacationers were seniors lol. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit the Algarve region and would go back in a heartbeat! Just book it already ;)

Great place to sample the delights of Alvor. A lovely hotel that's absolutely spotless with great food and drink. Special mention to Kevin, looked after us brilliantly in the relaxed bar. We are frequent visitors to Alvor and love this place

We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of October. The Alvor Park is so clean - it sparkles . The staff are all delightful and work very hard to maintain such high standards. Reception staff are excellent and very welcoming. We didn't sample the restaurant during our stay although menus on display looked good. I always recommend this hotel to any friends who are visiting Alvor.

The hotel is spotless, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the studios are fully stocked with everything you need. George on reception is most friendly and helpful. It is a 10/15 minute walk to Alvor partly uphill and uphill all the way back - I would not like to do that walk in the summer heat! 2 lovely restaurants nearest to the hotel are Al Dente and Napoli Pizzaria - both excellent food and value. The food in the hotel restaurant is not the best - spare ribs that were virtually raw and chewy, pork loin that was pretty tasteless, mixed grill that was just o.k., but the 'amuse bouches' were good! The pool is gorgeous and I am sure that the bar is serviced by more staff in summer but in January they could not cope if there was anyone in the restaurant and we had to leave after waiting 30 minutes to be served. Alvor is a charming little village with lots of places to eat and drink but the most relaxing places were the little restaurants by the estuary where it was so relaxing to sit and watch the boats and the birds.

My husband and I stayed for Christmas and New year as we have done for a few years now Wouldn't want to have been anywhere else The hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing Nothing is too.much trouble which creates a lovely atmosphere The hotel has a lovely relaxing bar and restaurant which all.adds to the wonderful experience The hotel is close to the town and the beach Taxis are very reasonable Can't wait to get back there Thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome

Very clean hotel with high quality standards.a decent 4 star hotel. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from the town itself but it's a pleasant walk but can be somewhat challenging in the sun and with the small hill. This shouldn't be a challenge for anyone in anyway fit. There is a supermarket 5 mins away and the beach is about 10 mins walk away also. The hotel isn't super busy which is good, no chaos. The hotel provides bathing gowns and towels. The rooms have good air conditioning. No negatives.

Hotel is modern and clean, public areas are immaculate. The staff are friendly and helpful and all speak good English. The room was spacious and clean with a very large attractive balcony that included a table, 4 chairs and two sun loungers. All rooms face the same way into the sun. The kitchen was functional but looking a little tired. There was an additional shower room/toilet in addition to ensuite bathroom. The additional shower room was a little cramped and both bathrooms showed some signs of water damage. The bed configuration was two single beds next to each other, would have preferred a double. The beds were uncomfortable, so they offered us mattress toppers but they never arrived. The location is about a mile from the beach and a third of a mile from the edge of town. It's uphill all the way back but not too bad. We had a problem where the hotel had no record of us prepaying breakfast, we had to prove we had. Don't know whether this was Jet2's or the hotel's error. Hot breakfast items were always lukewarm but a reasonable choice of foods. I wish we'd not done the breakfast option especially as there was adequate kitchen facilities and also we had to miss a breakfast that we'd paid for on the last day as our coach arrived before the restaurant was open. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
