One of the best hotels I have stayed so far. Fairfield by marriot has kept up to its brand name of Marriot. 👌Smooth check in process 👌Excellent service 👌 Huge spread of scrumptious breakfast. Staff also serve your choice of food item, apart from the breakfast buffet. 👌 Quick Room service 👌 Hospitable staff 👌 Clean rooms Tbh, I found the rooms small for a triple sharing basis. Apart from that, everything else was magnificent.

Lovely hotel although getting a little pricey now even in off session. Rooms are fine and functional albeit a little tired in terms of decor and tech. Bathrooms are much the same but can’t complain too much as everything works fine. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Best of all the hotel is 5 mins from Golden Temple by Auto.

Though far from Golden temple and closer to Airport but their warmth and hospitality will stay with us. We stayed their for 2 days and both the day our day started with welcome and wamrth of Parmeshwar and Chef Swarnendra Maity Nice Buffet spread and Awesome bakery Beautiful property, will definately recommend

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a Shimla & Amritsar tour. Not as good as we were expecting. Parts of the hotel is under construction/renovation and the area directly outside resembled a building site. The rooms were large and spacious with a decent size bathroom although bathrooms need a little TLC (grouting etc). Wall mounted shower gel bottle in shower needs replacing as quite dirty. Rooms advertised as having hairdryer and safe but had neither. Contacted reception who arranged for said items to be brought to the room. Pool was out of use due to renovation works. Although only a few kilometers to the Golden Temple absolutely nothing to do directly outside of hotel. On a plus side the staff were great.

The hotel rooms are spacious and the facilities are nice and clean. The surrounding environment is acceptable and the service staff is polite. Close to the airport, there is a free shuttle to the sights in the city.

An exemplary service experience. Very quick Check-in and checkout, inspite of a Huge rush, very prompt service from the room service staff at 3 in the morning. A job well done guys.

THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH - THEY HAVE RATS. I stayed at this hotel in November thinking I would be getting a good hotel. The complete opposite: it was a hellhole. As part of the booking, it was to include an airport pick up. This was booked over 7 days before I arrived so absolutely no excuse not to have arranged. My first night ever being in India and no one is there to pick me up at Amritsar airport. Despite having emailed several times through the days to try and get a confirmation, no reply. I then phone them up when I arrive only to be told they have no notification of me booking a taxi. I had to scream at them about 100 times to say its confirmed on the email. They kept saying they knew nothing about this. Luckily I had a contact in India who was able to phone on my behalf and told them to get their act together and send one immediately. About 2 hours later the taxi arrives. The don't open on either side and there are no seatbelts. It took him so long to find me and his English was zero. This is my first experience of the Sikh Holy land. Disgraceful. When I arrive at the hotel I say straight away to the Recepionist what the hell happened? He tells me 'the driver was stuck in traffic'. What a liar! The next morning I am still shocked by this episode so I go down to talk to someone else. They tell me 'the driver had a fever'. It took 2 interactions to realise I was surrounded by crooks. This taxi cost 1200 rupees. About 800 rupees more expensive than an Uber. Absolutely disgusting. The breakfast took ages to arrive even though I was generally the only person there (surprise surprise) and there were about 4 different waiters wandering around at all times. Most of them were doing nothing other than looking at their mobile phones. Clearly serving guests to much effort. The state of the kitchen was absolutely revolting. Rubbish lying all over the floor. And what does leaving rubbish out lead to? Rats of course. Please see attached video to hear them scuttering around in my celing. Every night they kept me up with the sounds of them running through the walls. And then leaving their droppings on the floor which OF COURSE never got cleaned up. ALL staff working there are men: not safe for women. The first night I arrived one of them 'escorted' me to my room without me asking. Clearly just looking for a tip (after my taxi didn't turn up to!), he did not get one I can assure you. They also didn't supply toilet paper without having to ask about 50 times. They charge for this hotel as if its top class but don't be fooled, there are so ***y better options around.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Amritsar for 2 nights 30 /31 May as part of a Mercury Holidays tour group. All the hotels used were excellent but the Hyatt stood out because of the attentive nature and politeness of all the staff members. They could not do enough for us. The greeting was exceptionally warm and friendly and we were made to feel special right from the moment we got off the bus. Everything was well organised and the whole experience was wonderful, stress free and relaxing. Everyone was so helpful and the service so prompt and personal. Too ***y staff to compliment from door attendants, greeters, receptionists, luggage handlers, restaurant personnel and room cleaners all deserve more than 10 out of 10. I have probably missed out some roles for which I apologise. If I had to select two names it would be Sonali on greeting. She has a smile to die for (see photo attached) and so helpful and informative. She told us all about the Golden Temple what to look for to get the full experience and showed us a flavour of what to expect there at night and during the day and at the closing of the border ceremony via the hotel information video. She also advised us on the security arrangements at sites and what not to take ( eg cigarette lighters) and expected dress codes. Nothing was too much trouble for this lady and her colleagues. The other person would be Bandano who worked in the pastry shop. I was looking for some of our tour party and another tour group had just arrived so the greeters were very busy in the foyer and she just came over and asked if she could help and pointed out where our people had gone. This demonstrates the team work between all departments and why the service at this hotel is exceptional. I have travelled a lot on business and have stayed in some top class world ranked hotels and this is one of the best due mainly to the genuine attentive nature of the staff and their willingness to help. Nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel is next to the airport and it is also convenient to take a taxi to the city centre. The hotel restaurant is doing a good job. The hotel room is large and comfortable to live in. Amrit is only a golden temple to see, take a taxi from the hotel in the morning, and come back in the afternoon.
