Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. The location is perfect, right by the Herengracht, in an old European house. It is 1.2-1.5 kilometers away from several major museums, and within 20 minutes' walk (the three-story canal and the cute little bridges every few steps and the chocolate-like little houses on the shore make the journey even shorter). The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept better than I do at home! Amenities like the high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, and luxurious bathroom (with premium toiletries) added a touch of luxury.   I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet: a diverse spread of fresh pastries, fruits, hot dishes, and barista coffee. The on-site restaurant also impressed me with its dinner menu—the grilled salmon was exquisite.   Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be better. It’s steps away from public transport and major attractions, yet the area remains peaceful at night.
