good hotel for a few nights. a little far from the center, but everything is within walking distance. There is no noise like in the center. next to the train station. convenient if you travel by train.

The lobby of the Amsterdam Library Hotel is really the layout of the library, and a strong smell of books comes to your face as soon as you enter the door.
It is less than 10 minutes away from the Central Railway Station. Once you get out of the main entrance of the railway station, go left, pass the tram, and walk along the road. There is a bus station at the entrance of the hotel, which is easy to find. There is a 24-hour front desk. The waiters are very enthusiastic and will tell you the route to where to go in detail. Living here is safe and comfortable.

* No bed bugs.
I don't like:
* Claustrophobic room that in no way suits two adults. The room is the size of two double beds. There was not enough space to unpack our clothing or even store our suitcases.
* Very noisy; window opened onto atrium so you can hear all your neighbors as if they were in your room.
* Uncomfortable bed with a mushy mattress.
* Overpriced. For $50 more, you can have a room at Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, which is a completely different universe compared to this hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel looks like a tourist trap.

We enjoyed our stay at the Library. The property was very clean and was in a great location including walking distance to all that Amsterdam has to offer including the main central train station.
The staff were friendly and the area safe.
The room were very small but clean. The price was expensive but Amsterdam is an expensive city, especially if you want to stay in thick of it.

Great location and decent property. BUT the bed linen was a bit itchy and did not feel right even though it looked clean from the naked eye.
