I am very satisfied with both the location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. Except for the bad attitude of the waitresses at the front desk and restaurant, everything else is very good!

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Cliff House. So relaxing with our every need catered for without being over bearing. Staff were very friendly and helpful and cleanliness excellent. Great breakfasts and the view from the restaurant stunning no matter what the weather. Highly recommend it.

Just left this hotel after a two night stay, an anniversary present (50yrs) from our 2 sons! Fabulous hotel, staff to be complimented on their friendliness, spotless and beautiful rooms overlooking the bay! Pool was great we had all to ourselves! Sea**** baths so relaxing! Food lovely, only had lunch in the bar. Great choice on menu for breakfast each morning! We were sorry to leave!! Lovely surprise in room for our 50th wedding anniversary! Recommend this hotel as a special treat!

The view from this hotel is just superb! That is the main selling point of the hotel. Staff were also generally very good, check in was smooth. It was like a maze getting to the hotel room. It’s a strangely designed hotel and annoying that while we were close to the reception area you still had to go a very long way to get from room to reception(down two flights of stairs then walk across to other side of the hotel and back up another two flights of stairs) The reason for this was because you couldn’t go through dining room to get to reception. I understand this however hotel was badly designed to allow this be the case. We ate in the bar and it lacked atmosphere. For a five star hotel the experience, between both service and food, didn’t reflect this. The food wasn’t great and very high prices. The bar needs revamping and freshening up. The pool area is nice and calming but also dated. The bedroom needed serious updating also. The shower wasn’t working properly and neither was the toilet. The decor was tired looking. Nice touch with a few freebies in the room though. Overall we just feel the experience wasn’t worth the money we paid for it.

Lovely hotel amazing views , lovely walks and very friendly staff which really helps the energy in hotel . Loved the view from our balcony sunset was beautiful on st Patrick’s day with bagpipes playing from the town was bliss . I would have like to see more of bar area in this hotel as after food nice to sit in where bit more atmosphere that would really bring this hotel to its best. Loads to do around the day time lovely sea swimming if ur into it and plenty water activities and yoga 🧘 . Breakfast was great very friendly young guy at breakfast and gent who greets you at hotel door took car for us to car park all staff where lovely. Rooms are lovely be nice to see updated curtains and carpet bathroom is lovely really good sleep in bed . Spa is lovely just got the wrong treatment which I wasn’t happy about was forward to sea**** bath , the manger at hotel was very helpful when I explained . We definitely come back thank you for lovely stay .

This was our first time to stay at the Cliff House. We had our 6 and 7 year old kids with us. The hotel is superb and is in a fabulous location. Food, service etc was of a very high standard and our kids enjoyed the hotel especially the pool. This really is a gem of a hotel with we can highly recommend.
