Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver Airport at Gateway Park

The area is great for food options. My sheets were dirty (not stained, but dirty, used a wet napkin to wipe off some dirty spots on the sheets. No shopping within walking distance for toiletries or supplies. Walmart is only about 8 minutes away driving. Some food options for purchase near the front desk. Free breakfast had cereal, pancake batter and waffle iron, bagels and muffins. Fruit, yogurt etc. Only 6 minutes from Denver international airport rental car lots. Outside the hotel area was allegedly sketchy, but I went for walks and didn't see anything bad to confirm that.

I stayed one night. The room I was staying in was clean except the towel that I happened to take first, which had stains on it. There were plenty of other towels so it wasn't a problem for me as a single traveler. A little more annoying problem was that the bathtub faucet was not working properly, splitting water flow between the tap and the shower. Staff extended courtesy by means of efficiency rather than smiles, which I suppose is better than the other way around. The area is convenient for a single night stay, the hotel advertises free shuttle to the airport which is extremely convenient except that it is overbooked. Upon arriving at the hotel, it is good that I inquired about it myself out of caution, because it turned out that I could not get the time in the morning I preferred, so I had to take an hour earlier. Even that one was overbooked to the point of one lady siting in the lap of another. The driver was dropping luggage into the water covered areas on the surface in a manner which made it hard to conceive it was not on purpose. Consider larger vehicle or added vehicle at peak times, or carpooling with the sister hotel across Pena. Breakfast was decent.

Good for an airport hotel. Area around the property is pretty much just parking lots. Information on where to meet the shuttle at the airport was not clear.

The property is in excellent condition, modern, up to date, the rooms are spacious with amenities, nice bathrooms, etc. The issue I did have was with the driver(s) of the shuttle service from the Denver airport: there are 2 Fairfield Inns, and the shuttle serves both. But passengers are not aware of that, and the driver never either explained this or announced each inn, asking guests to check if this was their stop. I think all drivers should do both. As it happened I and several other guests got off at the first stop, but it was not 'our' Fairfiled Inn.

The hotel is a great value. Modern, clean, quiet. Nice breakfast (included). Free shuttle to airport. We will choose this hotel on our next visit!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was so nice, generous and accommodating. Especially Keona and Vanessa. The shuttle service was great and the hotel itself was well appointed and clean. I have stayed at many of these Denver Airport hotels over the past 15 years and this was the best!

We were first told they didn’t have the reservation, then they charged 2 times for the incidentals, then we couldn’t even brush our teeth or shower because the pipes froze and they refused to let us do a late check out. They also charged us extra money at the end.
