Located on the best beach in Borneo. Forget about KK, if you want to have the best borneo experience, drive to this place (if possible). Private pool on your villa, 45 seconds walk to the beach, the sunset view is way better than the one in Tanjung Aru Beach.

AAddy Azmin+ Friendly front desk staffs. Clean and pleasant hotel with modern decorations. Amenities available very thoughtful.
- Hotel parking is limited. Surrounding parking is available and plenty, depending on time. Sound proof of the hotel might need to improve. You still hear it, if there is an event upstairs during normal time or vehicles pass by.

GGuest UserUnfortunately during our stay, the lifts did not function.The shower head in our room aren't good as well. I would also comment for the TV channel.The channel number is not prepared, we ended up turning the TV off.Overall the cafe is good but I highly recommend to add something for the toast section (Kaya for toast please 🙏 ).For sure, overall services are good.Amenities also complete.The view is fascinating. We did not know about the construction happening right now at the resort but we do expect more upgrade process for the resort. Cleanliness? I'm sure I showed it on my impressions above. once again, overall everything is good

There’s two dogs there quite friendly but just like to bark in the beginning, doesn’t bite

GGuest UserWe had a perfect time at Eaglebay Retreat. It’s truly an undisturbed paradise. You have an entire house and hundreds of meters of coastline all to yourself. Every morning, you can wake up in the sunshine and decide whether to go snorkeling or just relax in the sun—you have the choice. The sunsets were always perfect, and experiencing them on a paddleboard is far better than being in a crowded place like KK.
At the same time, the retreat offers a wide range of activities that are both rich and reasonably priced—paddleboarding, jet skiing, kayaking, and more, so you’ll never feel bored.
During our stay, Arlyn and h is family provided us with everything we needed: they inflated our paddleboards, helped us arrange sea activities, climbed trees to pick coconuts for us, and prepared delicious meals. Whenever we needed them, they were always available, without intruding on our privacy. Their presence was always perfectly balanced.
I would also like to thank Faizal, who did a lot of work before our arrival, and Jamri, the kind lady who helped us recover our lost Apple Pencil during our stay. She assisted in finding it, came up with several ways to return it (considering Eaglebay Retreat’s remote location), and finally delivered it to my friend personally, asking for nothing in return. Your kindness will be remembered.
Yes, I think we would definitely recommend this place to our friends, and we will visit Eaglebay again in the future.

GGuest UserClean small hostel, the bed is very comfortable and the room is very quiet. Suitable for taking a break from Kudat to Shenshan Road, the restaurant in the town is also cheap. Especially thanks to Miss Huang at the front desk for helping me find the lost sports camera accessories.

It's just that the condition of the room may be a bit old, the first hut we stayed in had an aircond problem, it wasn't cold. And there is a smell of mice that indicates that the hut has been inhabited for a long time.
But we were moved to another hut that smelled less of rats and was more clean, only the toilet part had cracks on the floor.
The position of the hut is close to the forest. Where there are only two families in that part, we entered. So it's a bit scary too. If the hut is close to the loading point, there is no problem because there are many people.
It's just that the new year experience is best because there are fireworks.
For those who want to stay here, it's better to have a snack as there is no restaurant. Breakfast or lunch delivery to hut and there are only 3 menus.

- The only thing that i like about the hotel is the receptionist. Others are bad. The fridge was smelly and not cold.
