Vanbo hotels (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport)

Convenient Airport Hotel with Free Shuttle and Flexible Check-In I stayed at Vanbo Hotel for a quick layover and it was exactly what I needed. It’s very close to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport—just about a 10-minute drive—which made it super convenient, especially after a long flight. They offer a free airport shuttle service, which was easy to arrange. The driver was on time and friendly, which took away the stress of finding transportation late at night. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, even though I arrived early in the day. The staff were helpful, and I appreciated that the check-in and check-out times were more flexible than at most places. I could rest properly before my next flight. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basics you need for a short stay. While the surrounding area is quiet and not touristy, it felt safe and was fine for a night. If you need a convenient, budget-friendly place near the airport with free transfers, flexible timing, and smooth check-in, I’d recommend Vanbo Hotel. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done very well.

old room, with dirty walls and carpet. smelled very bad of mold and cigarettes. asked for a non-smoking room, but all the rooms have ashtrays and smell of cigarette smoke. breakfast instead of a buffet - a tray with bad food. the area around the hotel is broken, also dirty, 30 minutes walk to the metro. from the good: everything is clean in the room and towels and bed linen, the women from the cleaning are trying very hard - thank them! comfortable bed, big, airy blanket and good pillows. the transfer picked up on time from the airport to the hotel and took back to the airport. this is a normal and cheap option to sleep near the hotel, but there is no desire to go back 🙁

I just used to stay this hotel for my transit , it's quite good , Rooms are very clean and neat , near by lot of small Chinese restaurants. But breakfast its like a takeaway boxes no proper resturant in the hotel, only Chinese food. And in the morning I didn't get the private drop-off to the airport as they mentioned Mercedes Benz, instead they took as a group in a bus drop in to the Airport . It's an average

Very easy to contact for free airport pick up. Location near to few restaurants so late flight will have places to eat if hungry. Room with 2 queen bed. Very clean. Breakfast is packed and tasty. Highly recommended for transit guests. They provided airport pick up and send off for free.

After my initial disappointment I quite liked this hotel, just very well advertised and maybe not as realistic as it could be. It's down a single track road and opposite what appears to be a derelict building site. Other than being close to the airport there is not much else near. A few local restaurants are close, it is proper Chinese food. There was no restaurant on site and the one advertised in the photo section is no where to be found. I feel mislead by this as the site told me how much I would have to pay for breakfast but there was no sign of this being an option on arrival. You have to leave for food so if you want anything other than local Chinese then you will have to get a taxi. instructions on how to get free taxi are unclear and we ended up paying for a taxi from the airport. The room was nice but not as fancy as the photos. Told room number as 3 digits but all rooms are 4 digits beginning with an 8. We got confused at first until we figured this out so took a while to find the room after having no directions from reception. Carpets are stained but everything was well vacuumed and cleaned. Bathroom modern and very nice, you just have to run the water a while for it to warm up. No one speaks much English but Google translate worked well for us in the hotel with the staff.
