Title: stunning Views
We had a wonderful experience. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning – whether you’re relaxing in your room, dining, or enjoying the outdoor spaces, it’s hard not to be impressed.
The staff were friendly and helpful,. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and good food, This is a great choice.
We can’t wait to return,
The temperature in Handara is over 20 degrees all year round, and the climate is very pleasant. The hotel is located inside the golf course, with a large lawn surrounded by mountains and water. Live in the scenery.
On the photos the hotel looks super nice. The main building us very modern and beautiful, but villas unfortunately are quite old. My room was a little sad with a very strange paint-shattered wall and a hole above the bed. The mirrors were very old and covered in years. The architecture of villas is beautiful. Location is perfect. But villas are in real need for renovation

Above the clouds is in a magical place. The serenity of the location makes a great get away from crowds, shopping or anything that can be distracting for inner reflection and contemplation. The views from your window, mountain paths or rice terraces are breath taking. My window was a daily look into Bali' past and present.
The rooms and bungalows are spacious. The site is built using traditional local architecture, which gives a greater connection to the land and its people. Bamboo is strong and flexible just like a Yogi.
The meals were great and so was the humble service with a smile. It's a great place for a meditation or a Yoga retreat.
Overall it's really good
Relax, the room is also clean, the amenities are complete, the staff is helpful
It's just lacking a water heater, so the room is really cold
A beautifully designed hotel in the highlands of Wanagiri, the weather is cool and temperate after the humidity of Ubud. If you want to get away from it all this is the place, very peaceful and idyllic setting with a heated open-air swimming pool overlooking the jungle, mountains, and the sea. There is a waterfall a few minutes walk away. The room and bed were huge, everything very clean and well-maintained. Excellent shower. Food in the restaurant was delicious, staff are very friendly and professional. However, to make the most of this location you need your own transport, which we didn't have, so we only stayed one night before moving to Bedugul.
Not the best experience here, they tried to over charge us for laundry, it is already expensive at 25k a KG ( normally 10-15k ). They initially tried to charge us 230k saying we had over 10kg total ( we had under 6kg as had previously weighed it ), I asked them to weigh it again and they immediately said sorry we can do it for 150k.
I paid extra when booking for breakfast to be included, but when we went for breakfast they argued that is wasn’t included, I showed them my booking and they agreed to include it, but then didn’t give us our included fruit 🤷♂️, the next morning I asked for it and was given it.
Food was okay but small portions, view from the seating platform overlooking the lake was great, and the room itself was fine, I just got the impression they were trying to take advantage of tourists by overcharging on things etc…
The room was very beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows. The whole resort was well laid out and the environment was very beautiful. You could see the volcano in the distance, but it was a remote location and it was very inconvenient to travel. You must book transportation out of the hotel first. The hotel staff were very helpful, especially the guy in charge of the dining area. He finally arranged transportation for us to go to another place.

AAnjaliWe booked in the morning for the same night through Trip.com, when we arrived they said, there happened an ovet booking and system error, our booked rooms are not available. They were waiting for us wirh a solution. They suggeseted stay at Keshava villa, another properry of same group, with free breakfast for 4 of us. The newly opened Keshava villa with swimming pool was bliss.
The staffs were very well behaved super hosts.
FFab KansI really enjoy my stay at Pondanu. The cabin is clean and very comfortable. The bed is comfortable and it has heater, which is really nice. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and they even gave an electric towel stand to dry your towel.A nice touch. The view from the room is dissapointing, though. I cant hardly see the lake. I purposely book ”lake view” room so that I can see the lake. But the overall view from the hotel itself is great.
They have restaurant, so you can order food and drink from them, since there is no restaurant around.
You can canoeing or cycling for free, complementary of your booking. The staff is helpful and curteous too. I will definitely come back!!
Jjonas.overseasVery nice and helpful staff. Stayed in January during rainy season and surprisingly no mosqitos. Food was good and local.
Location: a bit off the road. Takes some time to get there on the bumpy road but worth it!
Rented a motorbike for a good price for a day!
KKomang WartaStrategic place to stay with family. Hot water works normally unfortunately no kettle provided to make hot water if you want to drink. Because the temperature is very cold when you make hot drinks
FFriskiIf you’re looking for new experiences in Bali, this hotel is a perfect place with the mountain and lake view. It’s a bit far from the main road so be ready to walk if you don’t have transportation. Absolutely love this hotel.
HHartosoAccessing the location is challenging and somewhat unsafe; it is not recommended to travel there after dark. However, the service provided by the staff is excellent. It’s advisable to avoid visiting during the rainy season, as there are many insects.
AAprianusVery comfortable, service is also very good. The place is also very strategic.near the yellow temple and also the royal garden of the botanical garden. The price of the furniture is also very wortid.
