I would recommend this beautiful hotel which is a jewel. It's got the best view. Very neat and clean rooms and a beautiful property. It gives you the complete Balinese experience . The pool , the gym and the gezebo were so pretty and so close to nature

This was my third stay at Pondok Nyoman, and once again I wasn't disappointed. It's a little out of the way, about 300 metres off the main road, and walking or motorcycle access only, but worth the walk. Nyoman has had a pool installed since I was last there, and the views from the pool, and most areas o the property are fantastic. Breakfast, which was very good, overlooking the valley is a must!! The rooms are well appointed, beds comfortable, and wifi reliable and fast throughout the property. Nyoman and his staff are very helpful with advice, and always ready for a chat!! The structure is out of the chaos and surrounded by greenery and nature. All the staff welcomed us very well and made us feel at home, helping us to organize any excursion we had in mind. The dinner on site was also very good. Finally, waking up, looking out and admiring that view was magnificent.

Hotel located 800m away with a dozen staircase rooms with superb views of the rice fields and mountains (when clear). Average breakfast and restaurant. The rooms are very humid. Plan to dress warmly. Many animals within the hotel grounds: dogs, cats, birds, turtles, roosters (which did not disturb our sleep though). Very annoying “taxi” drivers within the premises of the establishment. In the absence of a gojek (local Uber), beware of "Taxi" in hotels who will try to sell you their service by making you pay for the empty return journey. Have a sense of negotiation taken to the extreme!
