The rooms are very very dark because of the dark wood & dark brick. Lack of lights do not help. We literally had to get clothes out by torch light. We did have a bulb out that they replaced the following day promptly Bathroom had an awful smell like cat pee and was constantly damp. Towels were damp as was toilet paper. Shower had no pressure to get soap out of your hair. Room was not cleaned to a high standard at all. Dirt and dust behind tv and mirror dirty. The pool I honestly thought was a pond it was pretty grim. Wi-Fi or signal non existent in room. It’s a shame. Just a lick of white paint all over dark wood would transform the little villas. No air con or even ceiling fan No fridge for water I wouldn’t recommend if I’m honest unless you are backpacking cheaply around. It’s a cheap hotel and that’s what you get. However the staff were very helpful and super friendly. Views of lake (over the road) are amazing

Quiet, safe and clean. Refurbished and feeling good. Pools are amazing. Staff are friendly, competent and eager to help. Right on the beach. Having been a frequent visitor over the years I am very happy with the incredible improvements over the last years. It just keeps getting better. If you want to relax and recharge, this hotel is superb. Get a tan, workout in exercise room overlooking beach, or treat yourself to a professional treatment at the Spa. It is close to the centre of Lovina (walking distance) but far enough so you dont hear music pumping in the early hours. I have been coming to Bali and Lovina for 30 years and my choice for a reasonably priced and well appointed hotel is Sunari.

Overall, I am very satisfied. The road up the mountain is a bit difficult, but after entering the hotel, everything exceeded expectations. There are more hotel staff than guests, and they are all very enthusiastic. They also gave us SPA and horse riding, participated in the hotel's coffee explanation and Indonesian language learning activities, and bought a lot of coffee beans. Cat poop coffee is much cheaper than buying it domestically, and children can also learn it. Gained a lot of new knowledge. The time coincides with Valentine's Day, and the hotel has thoughtfully decorated the room. The three days in the hotel were very relaxing. If I come to Bali again, I will stay in this hotel again.

What a beautiful resort the rooms were clean and the view was amazing . the staff were lovely and helpful,The food was incredible they use their own vegetables and fruits which they grow on site . We had breakfast and dinner . Would like to say a massive thank you to Kendran who was just so lovely and helpful she was always happy and smiling she made sure we left with a smile . Cool concept. People sleep in shipping containers. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Definitely an oasis of well-being. There is also warm water here. During the day the containers heat up due to the sun and in the evening they cool down very much. At night it can cool down to 10 degrees. During the day it is between 20 and 25 degrees. As soon as the sun goes away, it gets very cool in the north! Warm clothing is highly recommended. The staff was very helpful. Still there were difficulties with English. Highly recommended translation app. It is a very beautiful and less touristy region of Bali. Without a scooter you are a bit lost there. These can also be rented on site for 150k per day. There is a lot to do in this region. It's worth it!

I found this place by default, after my previous accommodation, Shri Ganesh, cancelling my room to resell at a higher price, because of high demand over the Christmas break. It's about 500 metres from the beach, not a bad location, but no warungs close by. The rate I received was lower than the agencies by about 10%, good business at 3.30 pm, when they were unlikely to get another booking. The room was comfortable, aircon efficient, but wifi was very unreliable. Initially, it may have been because of a thunderstorm, but even after that passed, it didn't get any better, and reception's advice was to sit in reception, or the breakfast room, because it would be better there!! I had need to look under the bed for a battery I dropped, and my guess is that it has NEVER been cleaned. Dust, fluff, used drinking straws, and food wrappers were plentiful. There was no kettle or coffee/tea making facilities. I take my own coffee, but a kettle would have been good to have. Breakfast was basic, self serve juice and coffee/tea, and two eggs, any style, on toast, or Nasi Goreng.

The room is big enough, the bathroom is paved with slate and cobblestone There is also a big stone bathtub, big enough for two people There is a safe There is also a balcony The bed is not particularly soft, but it is still very comfortable The hotel is on the mountain, the view itself is good enough The restaurant is open, in the nature There are only two sets of vegetarian and non-vegetarian breakfast at present, but it is already very rich. The vegetarian stir-fry is delicious, the drinks are all fresh, and the papaya and watermelon juice are very good They also provide massage services, but they are extra The hotel is indeed a bit remote, on the top of the mountain. It takes 3 hours to drive from Ubud at a slow speed, and 2 hours at a fast speed. It is a mountain road all the way, so try to choose to travel during the day The staff are very nice and helpful (especially Sudi) The hotel is very close to AlingAling, the second highest waterfall in Indonesia, and it is only 5-10 minutes drive to the ticket purchase point. Remember to bring a swimsuit so that you can jump and swim

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). Service was nice, good breakfast buffet in the morning 7-11am. Clean rooms, good WiFi. Easy walking distance and taxi service cheap. Would recommend for cheap price. Fast check in service, very friendly and helpful staff.
