THANN Wellness Destination

The propert is very peaceful and beautiful. All staff are sweet and prepare everything that you want….. So great here for short holiday. There are interesting activities also. The deluxe room which we’ve stayed is riverfront, you can enjoy the river view.

I had requested my email review to be sent to Khun Tony (Thitipat) Suppattranont, the Founder and MD of Thann to thank him for his handwritten letter that was in our room when we checked in. We also noted that we could let him know if we had any feedback or comments. Unfortunately, he did not leave behind an email address or any contact information in the letter so I could not contact him directly with my suggestions. To-date, noone has acknowledged my email (it was sent twice on 24th & 30th Dec) so I am posting it here: Overall, we had a good stay, however there are several things I would like to mention, and I will list them in point form below: 1.    Good communications from Khun Milk prior to check-in: I had several questions about my booking (which I bought via Megatix) and she answered them promptly and suggested that we book our spa appointment on 22 Dec when we check in beforehand. 2.    Signs along the roads to Thann Wellness Destination were not visible enough. I missed the turn into the resort because the signs were too small. 3.    The check-in process was smooth and our bags were brought to our rooms whilst we went for our massage, our room was also ready at 12.30pm after we finished. 4.    The complimentary afternoon tea set was good but it was a pity that a wider variety of drinks were not available. I requested for hot green tea and was told that it was not included in the package and had an extra charge. We also asked if the fruit juices available were fresh juice and were told that they were not. It was a surprise that fresh juice was not available at a wellness resort. 5.    We attended the facial workshop after our afternoon tea and were excited to be able to try the various Thann products (we have not used them before). To me, this is a very good marketing tool to introduce Thann products to people new to them. My spouse loved the sunscreen and bought it after the workshop (the 10% discount was well appreciated). Unfortunately, the activity was conducted in Thai (we were given basic instructions on what to do) and we were not fully able to enjoy the full workshop experience. We were able to try some new products provided to us in our suite on the 2nd day (shampoo, conditioner, body butter, etc) and my spouse went back to buy the hair conditioner before we checked out as she loved it too. She also bought a pair of pants which she liked very much. I asked if there was a Thann loyalty program available for us to sign up but was told there wasn't. I was surprised as I googled online later and found out that there is a loyalty program available, perhaps only for customers at your retail stores. May I suggest that perhaps guests at the resort can be automatically signed up as members (if they aren't already) and offered some additional benefits for further stays or purchases. My spouse mentioned that she might try more Thann products in the future and this could be one way of attracting and retaining customers. 6.   Breakf

Wonderful stay...all u ever want in a hotel! Wonderful food...so creative! Great service, friendly staff, many activities, beautiful garden, great massage. Love love love! Plus...everything smells so nice!

We got the 3 days 2 nights package in the deluxe room. Even with a 20% discount promotion the package was still quite expensive at 35,000 baht. This included 5 meals plus afternoon tea, spa treatments for 2 per night stay, and unlimited activities. All items in the minibar are already included in the price. The resort is elegantly designed and along a quiet stretch of the calm Noi River, about an hours drive from Bangkok and about 20 min drive from downtown Ayutthaya. Our deluxe room was large, with a roomy balcony, clean modern, Bluetooth speakers, etc. The room itself isn’t much different from the higher priced suite or pool villa. We had a chance to look at their Treehouse rooms which have a skylight and a glass bathroom floor, they said it gets quite warm during the day. Upon check in you get to select the scent of the Thann branded amenities that you will get in your room. There is a pajama-like outfit that you can wear during your stay but that’s optional. Kickboard scooters are left in front of the buildings so any one can use them to get around, but you can call for the buggy shuttle which comes very quickly. Activities include early morning tai chi, yoga class, Zumba, and the popular aqua cycling & paddle boarding on the river itself. Overall not that much activities. A highlight of this place is the 3 aromatherapy pools: Room temperature (28C), Cold (22 C) and Onsen (42 C). It’s a communal pool for everyone together, and swimwear is required. What makes this package worth the price is the high quality unlimited gourmet meals: Lobster pasta, Hokkaido scallop porridge, River prawns pad thai, ravioli & lobster, scallops salad, etc. Service from all staff was excellent, from the reception, wait staff in the restaurant, trainers at the activity stations. Overall expensive but worth it if you want a high quality experience to recharge.

We have stayed for 3 days at pool villa and tree house. Room are spacious and comfortable. The place is beautiful and peaceful. The food is ok. The most thing I love here is the staff. They all are very helpful and kind especially Mr. Obb, Suphakorn, he provided us with the service mind fully. Thank you for taking care of us 😊. Overall, we are very impressed on the service and enjoy the unique facilities, spa and skincare kit are ones of the great things here!

Thann Wellness is a good choice for wellness destination which is only an hour drive from Bangkok. This was the second and probably the last visit (we were here in July 2020). It was not as nice as the first stay, partly due to the rain so didn't have a chance to do the aqua exercise or yochi and lower service level. Massage was still great. Food quality dropped compared to the first visit.
