Fantastic, you can really feel the dedication in their service. All the staff at this hotel are incredibly polite and always smiling! Even though it's an older hotel, I absolutely adore its classic, opulent charm, and it's exceptionally well-maintained. They even upgraded our room and offered turn-down service because it was our anniversary. The hotel pool is amazing and gives off a great resort vibe! And finally, I have to rave about the breakfast – it's incredibly varied and beautifully presented, making it very appealing. You can even get iced coffee and Thai tea, among other things. Aside from the location being a bit mediocre, everything else was perfect.

Charming and old-fashioned, but the facilities are a bit dated. When we checked in, there was a strong smell of fresh paint from renovations, which made us dizzy. However, they did help us switch rooms in the end, which was good. If you like a vintage style, you'll enjoy staying here. There are many rooms available, and the price is moderate.

Beautiful resort, fantastic service, and plenty of options for restaurants. The breakfast is also a worthy add on. The staff are welcoming and attentive. They allow use of facilities if your flight is a bit later in the day which is incredibly convenient. Highly recommend staying here, you can easily enjoy your stay by not leaving the resort and when you do, they have boat shuttle service to sathorn and iconsiam piers.

The pros are its proximity to the Chao Phraya River, with two boat options available every half hour for convenient travel. The hotel grounds are expansive, truly living up to its resort status, and there are plenty of activities, perfect for those who enjoy spending time at the hotel. It boasts a tennis court, ping pong, an outdoor pool, and many other amenities I didn't even have time to discover. The downside is its distance from the commercial district. I think the hotel has good bones. The aesthetic of the lobby and the exterior of the guest rooms are quite nice. However, it's definitely showing its age. The location isn't particularly great either. If the price is high, I wouldn't really recommend it. The bathtub is old and unusable, and the dampness is quite noticeable.

To be honest, my stay at Anantara this time was a bit disappointing. Even though I got an upgraded room, it was at the very end of the hallway. It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated and it's not soundproof. There was some noise from a bar somewhere at night, which disturbed my sleep, and there were mosquitoes. The only upside is its location right next to the Chao Phraya River.

Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort was a perfect vacation experience. The hotel is located right on the Chao Phraya River, offering fantastic views. Great service, facilities and super breakfast! We also tried the dinner cruise which was very nice. The hotel is a bit worn out and may need some refurbish soon. Free boat shuttle directly to Icon Siam was very convenient.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was absolutely five-star. Dinner was delicious, and they had professional fire-breathing performances, which was really cool. The shuttle boat was available daily, which was very convenient. And the pool was huge with excellent service too.
