MM23180****I stumbled upon this hotel while planning my Chaoshan trip, and I immediately booked it because of its prime location and wabi-sabi style decor.
Two days before my arrival, the hotel butler added me on WeChat and thoughtfully recommended local delicacies near the hotel.
Throughout our stay, the hotel owner and butler were incredibly attentive, promptly responding to all our needs.
Inside the room, the bedding was very comfortable, especially the pillows. There was also a tatami area perfect for tea, which was very relaxing.
The hotel is located just outside Chaozhou Ancient City, only a few minutes' walk to get inside. This was very convenient for us traveling with elderly family, as we could return to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired and then continue exploring.
There are also many great restaurants nearby, and it's very close to Xinxin Market.

LLudahuahuaThis hotel was on my radar for a while and was our last stop on this Chaoshan trip. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didn't find anything particularly special about Xiong. The room decor was pretty average. The shower hose was rigid, which kept making the shower head turn, and probably because of the high ceiling, the water pressure and temperature were low. I ended up using the bathtub's showerhead, hanging it up to wash. Housekeeping wasn't great either; even in late December, there were still tiny moths on the pillows. They must have been very busy, as I only got turndown service on the first night of my two-night stay. On the second night, they only sent a late-night snack, and I didn't see any of the roses other reviews mentioned (though I did see single roses at the front desk). The biggest highlight was definitely being able to visit Rao's former residence.

GGuest UserOur stay this time was absolutely fantastic, truly impeccable in every aspect. Stepping into the resort, it felt like entering a serene, secluded paradise, instantly allowing us to forget the hustle and bustle of city life and completely relax both mind and body. The food was another highlight; it felt like we were constantly indulging! Hahahaha! The 'Five Elements' meal was a unique and delightful experience, with beautifully crafted and distinctive dishes. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of ingredients and many choices! Excellent! The staff's warm and attentive service made us feel truly at home. We will definitely bring our family back for another visit!

The children like the swimming pool very much, the water is not deep, it's perfect for playing in the water
The free breakfast rolls and rice noodle rolls are delicious
We went to the mall for dinner and came back. The free teahouse was just right for after-meal relief, and the children played with sand next to it
(The only drawback is that there is no partition curtain in the toilet, so it is inconvenient to change clothes 😂)

GGuest UserExcellent accommodation experience, stayed for another two days, the homestay is in the ancient city, the new decoration is distinctive, quiet at night, a few minutes walk to the archway street, the boss has recommended guides to introduce the ancient city to play food route, very convenient and invite us to drink work tea. The environment is clean and tidy, the disposable items are easy to use, and I will stay here next time I go to Chaozhou.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this new hotel; requests like bringing water are promptly handled by a robot delivery. A small suggestion: as a new hotel, it's apparent that the staff still needs more training on guest reception. It's not that the service is bad, but rather a lack of experience. I had to remind them to give me a paper bag when I asked for something. Also, after check-in, I wasn't informed about the elevator's location or the check-out time. Of course, I could ask these things myself, but it could be better. The entrance leads to a bar counter, where cocktails are served in the evening, and you have to walk all the way to the end to find the front desk. Haha, a strange layout. Attention to hygiene details is needed; please see the picture of dust above the power outlet. A new hotel shouldn't have this. Everything else was great.

GGuest UserThe experience of staying at this hotel is great! The rooms are clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable, making people feel at home. The hotel staff was warm and thoughtful. Considering that we were with children, we also added a single bed for free, which was a deep impression. The hotel has a parking lot and parking is convenient. In short, this is a very recommended hotel, the price is very high, will choose to stay next time.

DDarthEndorReally can't recommend this place more for anyone looking to visit Chaozhou. Off the main road so it gives you some peace and quiet yet not too far from the main attractions of Chaozhou Old City. Excellent service by a group of youthful service personnel, especially 林东锦 who served us coffee every morning and remembered our preferences. His evening counterpart 刘启泰 also responded to our every queries. Love the balcony, theme and decor of the accoms. For the price we paid, it's nothing short of a steal!

GGuest User原來來潮州也沒有多大期待，但因為這家青年養老院，讓我徹底愛上這座城市。老闆很熱情，親自開車帶着吃喝玩樂，晚上還有各種活動，認識了很多不同地方的朋友，分享了很多有趣的故事。雖然潮州交通不太方便，但也許就是這座小城的魅力，讓生活慢下來，好好感受這邊的人文，美食。最最最讓我感動，是這邊的人情世故，周邊鄰居的熱情，到處都感受到温暖，目前已經連續住了好多天，真的，不想離開了。
