Our group of 14 had an absolutely fantastic time at the Hilton All-Inclusive Cancun! The resort exceeded our expectations in many ways, and we made some wonderful memories during our four-day stay.
The food was a major highlight—we dined at nearly all the restaurants, and every meal was delicious. Our favorite was the Italian restaurant, followed closely by the steakhouse and the Mexican restaurant. However, securing reservations was a bit of a challenge, which was frustrating at times.
One of our biggest concerns before arriving was food safety, especially after seeing numerous reviews about illnesses at many Mexican resorts.
Thankfully, not a single one of us got sick, which was a huge relief. That said, we did notice some staff using the same tongs for raw and cooked meat on the grill, which was concerning.
We also enjoyed nightly entertainment watching some highly skilled acrobatics!
Overall, the resort provided an amazing experience for our large family, and we would absolutely return. With a few improvements in the reservation system and food handling practices, this place would be perfect!

Considering the price, we expected to not have the typical watered down alcohol/ meh food all inclusive experience, which unfortunately proved to be the case. You couldn’t get a buzz from the drinks unless you were injecting it straight into your veins. The only great restaurant was the Italian one. The coffee shop was also fantastic. The pools were beautiful, and there were always beach and pool beds available. The staff are very warm and friendly. Our jacuzzi never worked correctly and it turned out that you had to turn on the outside lights to get it to work, which we were never told. The nightly activities and the club are a bit cheesy, but the staff is doing the best they can. Big shoutouts to Pamela, Alfredo, Eli, and John, who were absolutely too notch staff. The rooms are beautiful and the rain shower is amazing! I think the overall value for experience is overpriced based on the food and beverages.

GGuest UserThis is a luxurious and private hotel. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a quiet staycation and relax. It feels like a lot of care was put into each and every object, starting from the marble floor. But as you know... food and drinks in the hotel are quite expensive. However, the quality of the free activities is much better than that of the Hilton right next door, so we recommend taking full advantage of the activities. In particular, yoga outdoors while watching the sunrise at 7 a.m. remains one of my best memories! Plus, the spa facilities and massages are of the highest quality, so I recommend you try them. There is a separate space and pool that only spa users can use, and it is really beautiful....

BBen26I’d say this is the best hostel in my entire solo trip this year. More spacious rooms and location is just perfect. U can also book breakfast to save on money. They have a bunch of activities but unfortunately I didn’t join in. Had a busy schedule. Don’t hesitate to check it out if u r in Cancun

The hotel is located in another area, far from the hotel area of cancun, there are no shopping malls or streets nearby, and there is no party at night, so the environment is quiet and comfortable, suitable for people who want to stay in the hotel for a holiday all day. All the staff of the hotel are very polite and hospitable! The hotel has just been renovated and the facilities are very new. The room is large, especially the bathroom is large, the living room and bedroom are very spacey, and the design is very comfortable! Although the hotel has only three restaurants, the quality of food in all restaurants is very high! The only downside was that the beach was very algae-rich when you checked in, so the water was not very clear.

GGuest UserHideaway Royalton Riviera Maya was a nice weekend getaway for me and my brother but also a reunion with friends. I know the hotel is closing for renovations and hopefully it can get the well needed repairs/upgrades. For me, it was better than I expected but still lack a lot and the price should've reflected what service would be given. Definitely understaffed and affected many things like a domino. The food needs to be better especially the buffet. The only food that was consistently delicious was the fish!!! The Zen restaurant delicious but a sauna so couldn't finish our food. The building itself needs repair as I cut my finger in the pool from lose tiles. We had a leak for the light in our room, but thankfully maintenance fixed it right away. The water activities could've been much better. Too many physical challenges not enough fun challenges.

MMejiaPabloA lot of luxury, very cool, there is no parking, you leave your car on the street, the dishes were not washed well, the use of the sailboat is free, but they charge you 200 pesos for environmental tax and they give you a bracelet that says it is 58 pesos because of this tax and they don't give bracelets to everyone, someone does business there, then the rivers say in the ads that they close at 7, but the staff takes you out at 6, and the main attraction of the water park is still useless. So I would return, the food in the Brazilian restaurant is very good, better than in the oriental one, which is the only one you have to reserve.
