"Pros: The location of this hotel is excellent! It’s very close to the beach and surrounded by great food options, restaurants, and lively bars. Plus, it is within easy walking distance to the Sky Capsule Mipo Station, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. They also had small washing machine and LG styler. Cons: However, the hotel definitely needs to improve its cleanliness. When we checked in, the room was very dusty, and the towels didn't feel completely clean. The bathroom was only ”so-so” in terms of cleanliness. Also, note that the lobby is quite small. No toothbrush / no toothpaste / no booties. Some of the front desk staff weren't very friendly and struggled with English. Overall: Despite the housekeeping issues, we had a great stay overall thanks to the amazing location. If they fix the cleanliness issues, it would be perfect!"

"The good - clean room - very comfortable bed and bedding - great sound proofing within the hotel - great if you’re going out all day The bad - I stayed 4 days and there was only 1x housekeeping. I was told this on check in. But this was not on the booking details. You have to inform them before 1pm each day. - a semi wet bathroom - facing the main road, you can hear the vehicles (I was on the 7th floor) - toiletries are not provided and need to be purchased from vending machine (not a problem but should be listed on booking) - other than Nampo, and Jalgachi seafood market. There’s not much around, and it’s quite far from everything else in Busan. - I asked for an extra pillow 1 night, and the front desk said “house keeping has closed for the day”. Ok even if that’s the case, surely they can go into the store room themselves to get me an extra pillow. I wasn’t asking for them to clean or anything. - this weird vending machine looking thing was also on my counter and it didn’t even work. No clue what it’s for."

"Trip.com had a mismatch with this booking and I stayed at Hyoi Stay Busan Songdo. It's the same hotel as they said, just a different name. It's also the same building and room type was identical. So my review is for Hyoi Stay. Great hotel, new, very clean room with a washing machine and a dryer. Location is also great, view from the room was beautiful. Hotel is like airbnb, room also had a kitchen and a balcony. Very helpful and nice manager met me near entrance of the building to help find the office on 3rd floor to check-in. Now, if you don't have a car and don't use taxi, be careful as the walk from the bus stop is going downhill and if you have a heavy bag coming back up can be hard. Even with this it's only 10 minutes walk from bus stop. Overall 5/5 loved it, would gladly stay again."

Amazing
MMeiduocao【Park Hyatt Busan】Stayed in the 'sailboat' of Haeundae, where the floor-to-ceiling windows framed Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the entire ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of the sea breeze and the city lights, experiencing both relaxation and luxury. Environment: The hotel's location is relatively quiet with fantastic views. There's a supermarket downstairs, and a noodle shop and two great cafes very close by, which was quite convenient for a tourist. Facilities: Very new, especially the stunning view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I didn't even want to close the curtains at night! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: Excellent.

YYuermeiFacilities: Well-equipped. Ambiance: Excellent. We stayed in a new building with a balcony room. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves, gazing at the sea, and sipping coffee was incredibly relaxing. Service: The front desk staff who handled our check-in and check-out were very warm, thoughtful, and professional. Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean and hygienic overall. However, one day, we left in the morning after tidying the bed ourselves, but when we returned in the evening, the bed was very messy. I immediately wondered if housekeeping hadn't cleaned that day. I also questioned why the bed was so messy. So, I checked the trash can, and it had been emptied. Does that mean housekeeping doesn't make the beds??? I then looked closer at the bed and noticed that a small part of the duvet inside the duvet cover was exposed. When we left, the bed was tidied, so why was it so messy when we returned, with part of the duvet exposed? Upon closer inspection, there were bloodstains, which made me feel very uneasy. What could be the reason for this? I even wondered if housekeeping, while tidying the bed, tried to change the sheets, discovered bloodstains on the duvet, and then didn't replace it promptly, or forgot to, or something else? I was very upset at the time and immediately called the front desk to explain the situation. But after waiting a while, no one came up. So I went down to the front desk to explain the situation in person. The front desk staff was very helpful and said that the housekeeper had already gone up to tidy and bring clean linens to the room for replacement, and suggested we go up and check. I went up again and found that the housekeeper had only tidied the bed and hadn't changed anything. I immediately asked the housekeeper, in front of her, ”Didn't the front desk explain the reason clearly to you? Didn't you see that the exposed duvet core was dirty with bloodstains?” I immediately pointed out the spot to her, and she then apologized and said she would immediately bring clean replacements. Sigh..... Overall, the hotel's location, ambiance, and service are all good, and the issue was resolved. Sigh......

WWilliamgray81Nice hotel. Very clean and modern. Large room with comfortable beds. Kitchen area, which was nice for families. Near restaurants and the beach. Really far from main attractions of Busan. Probably not the best unless specifically wanting to visit the beach. Otherwise, nice. Breakfast is ok. I wouldn't pay extra though for what you get.

GGuest UserI used to stay at this hotel quite often and generally had a good experience, but this time was a complete disappointment! The front desk staff is now incredibly unfriendly, even discriminatory, towards Chinese guests. We arrived at the hotel a little after 1 PM. The Japanese guests in front of us checked in smoothly, and the front desk staff was very welcoming to them. However, when it was our turn, the front desk person just glanced at our Chinese passports and told us that hotel policy states check-in is only after 3 PM. So we went out for a quick lunch and contacted Trip.com. Trip.com confirmed that early check-in was indeed possible. But when we returned to the hotel, they completely denied it and maintained the same unhelpful attitude. It was only after they looked up my previous booking records that they finally allowed us to check in. The reception we received from the front desk was infuriating. I will not consider staying here again.

Ffrog_the_nameOverall, I had a great experience at this hostel. Rooms are soundproof enough that any noise outside didn't disturb me. There weren't many guests when I stayed there, but I had a few friendly chats with some of them. I had to work from midday until midnight and there was no table in the room so I stayed in the common area which had the most amazing view of the sea and the beach. The staff was mostly not there but they were friendly when we interacted and they let me check in early :) Things to improve: - it wasn't the cleanest. I wish I could vacuum myself at least because the floor upon my arrival wasn't very clean. also as soon as I turned on the AC I was starting to cough uncontrollably, almost choking on my coughs so I guess it hasn't been cleaned for a long time - in the evening they turn off all the lights in the common area so it's very dark and you can't see anything. I asked the staff to leave some lights for me because I had to work, but they just turned on one desktop lamp which wasn't doing much. I worked silently and didn't disturb anyone so I wish they could accommodate this easy request

WWeilaijiangjiangziThe corner room at the very end had a really odd layout, making watching TV quite inconvenient. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and spoke Chinese, and they kindly lent us a universal adapter for free. The hotel's location is excellent, but unfortunately, the building next door is undergoing renovations. During my stay, there was constant rumbling every day, and I could even hear the heavy bass from the bar on the second floor until 2 AM. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider.

Ddragon0415Overall, I highly recommend this place. First, let's address the downsides: 1. Could you please add a light to the ceiling? Is that really so difficult? 2. Could you add a sign pointing to the north entrance? Is that really so difficult? I didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Everything else was great: 1. The room was huge, spacious, and even had a balcony with a sea view. The bed was large enough for a family of four. 2. The location is excellent. From Haeundae subway station, exit 3, walk straight for about 300 meters, and you'll reach the hotel building. The hotel is only about 200 meters from the beach. Think of it as being just off the main Haeundae street, a little closer to the beach, and less than 100 meters away from the main drag – that's where the hotel building is located. 3. The service was good too. I asked the front desk for an extension cord, and they found one for me. Finally, a tip: From Haeundae subway station, exit 3, walk straight towards the beach until you reach an Olive Young on a street corner. Turn left there, walk less than 100 meters, and look to your left. You'll see a large entrance that looks like a shopping mall with the hotel's name on it. Take the elevator directly to the ninth floor.

AAnonymous UserThere was hair on the bed when I checked in, but it was too late and I was too tired to bother asking for a change of sheets. The outer room is very spacious, with a kitchen and a large multi-purpose table. The inner room has a bed and a wardrobe. Breakfast was decent. The beach is just across the road, and there's a snack street right downstairs.

GGuest from Los AngelesI checked into Songjung Hotel for a weekend tango event. Check-in with my trip.com voucher was seamless. My room was ready early. It is an older hotel, but very roomy, clean, and the ocean view was amazing from the walk-out balcony. The tango event was held in a lovely ballroom at the hotel, so although I could have opted for a more modern hotel, I was very happy that I chose Songjung Hotel. This was my first experience with trip.com. I am happy with the experience. Pictures are from my balcony.

GGuest UserThe location was a little hard to find, but it was within walking distance from the station. There's also a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and plenty of dining options like cafeterias, plus shopping opportunities. With so many cafes around, it's really great for tourists. The interior was very clean, and having Netflix and a bathtub makes it especially appealing for Japanese guests. The illuminated vanity mirror was also a very convenient touch. One thing to note is that the elevator was out of order, so those with heavy luggage should be aware. Also, the bed was a bit on the firm side. Other than that, everything was perfect!
