B&Bs (Bed and breakfast) in Lucca

Our stay at La Chiusa Delle Monache was truly special. The property feels like a beautiful home, full of charm and character. We stayed in the former horse’s house, thoughtfully transformed into a cozy and unique B&B—it was both comfortable and full of personality. This is a genuine family-run place, and you can feel it in every detail. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering insightful tips about the area that made our visit even better. The whole family—mom, dad, and everyone—helps run the place, creating a warm, homey atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade pastries from the mother’s recipe—absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the stay. As a thoughtful touch, she even gave us leftover pastries to take on the road, which we truly appreciated. A heartfelt experience from start to finish—very impressive and highly recommended.

Alojamiento muy peculiar y bonito teníamos 2 habitaciones una doble y otra para 4 personas. La de 4 tenía 2 habitaciones muy grandes con el baño en el centro con ducha , bañera grande , 2 lavabos y todo lo necesario hasta planchas de pelo. Llegamos por la tarde y nos dejaron un sobre con las llaves y todo muy bien explicado. Muy buena comunicación por wasapearme con Marina. Desayuno rico y ubicación a unos 15 minutos al centro andando y con parking. En general todo perfecto

We had a wonderful stay in Lucca! Monica was super kind and welcoming. The room was excellent, with a beautiful view of the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. Comfortable bed, very good shower, and air conditioning that made the stay even better. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Tip for future guests: park your car at Parcheggio Mazzini (near Porta Santa Maria). Grazie Monica! 🌟

This place was surprisingly nice in a really cool town that wasn't really on my radar. It's a short distance to the sights and some really good restaurants. It was a little challenging to check-in since the street doesn't have parking and it's hard to find, but ring the bell or connect earlier with the owner and it'll be smooth I'm sure. The parking on site was nice because it's protected from the street, but like all of Europe, pricey. There is also a breakfast option, but didn't spend the money to find out the quality. Rooms are of a really good size, great air conditioner, and bed is comfortable.

The location is very good, sanitary and clean facilities are complete. The receptionist was very kind and helpful to provide travel advice. Just because of the nature of a homestay, the hotel cannot provide parking spaces. Fortunately, free public parking spaces can be found around.

Nice rooms in a beautiful villa (in fact several villas ) at 15 min walk from the centre of Lucca and friendly staff. Good breakfast and private parking. I would certainly recommend this accommodation

Finally a B&B where both Bs work wonderfully and, in a world of improvised as the present, it is not a little bit. Located just outside Lucca, very easy to reach, offers a large private parking. The room is spacious, well furnished and the comfortable bed. The bathroom is huge and has a set of courtesy. Breakfast is for once really the second B: used to seductive B&Bs offering at max discount products or a good for the cappuccino at the front bar, here we give in front of a buffet rich in cakes made at home, Croissant fresh, express coffee and no missing salt. Many improvised managers should come to pick up notebooks.
