"A traditional Japanese hot spring hotel located next to Kamibashi. I stayed with 11 friends, and the hotel provided a banquet hall for us to have dinner and breakfast; everyone felt at home. The autumn maple scenery on the inclined road between Kamibashi and the hotel in the early morning is very beautiful."

If you go to the hotel by taxi, it takes you to a gravel path, and then you calmly get there by walking a little to the official entrance of the hotel. The service at the entrance to the hotel seems a little blurry. Especially after the service in the same restaurant. But we arrived late in the evening, so it is likely that everyone was just tired by the time we arrived. 3. The hotel held a lecture on our evening, but it was in Japanese. Although I do not see a mechanism by which it could be made more accessible. Hiring a translator who would translate into English for a couple of foreigners is strange. Conducting it in English when most of the guests were Japanese is wrong. The hotel is not cheap, but I think it is worth the money. I highly recommend it."

"The hotel was great and had good food (buffet style) and service. The views of the bridge and kinugawa river across the hotel was nice, and we enjoyed fireworks on Saturday night. It might be better to drive, since the hotel was located about a 10-15 minute walk away from Kinugawaonsen station in a quiet town, and is about 1 hour away by public transport from Tobu-nikko station where many attractions can be accessed."

"Most tourists who go to Nikko either come back and forth on the same day or stay in a hot spring hotel. If you have had enough of hot springs, then try this one. It is definitely a rare designer hotel in Japan, very special! Unlike the Ritz by Lake Chuzenji, where there are many tourists outside the window, here you live in a natural park, and there are only continuous mountains, green trees, waterfalls and streams outside the window. It is so beautiful and quiet. The dinner is Michelin-level French food, exquisite and delicious, and the wine selection is also good. It is strongly recommended to include a meal. It is very close to the train station, and it takes less than ten minutes to get there by taxi for 1,600 yen. The hotel has three free shuttle buses to the station in the morning. The employees have multiple roles. The designer is also the owner, the restaurant DJ, the waiter, and the driver. If there is anything, everyone shares it together. Whoever is free will do it. This kind of team feeling is very good. There is also a resident painter. You eat here and he paints there. He creates a work every night. It's wonderful."

"Really great stay in the hotel, very clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful!! Japanese style room was so cozy and the view was fantastic!!! Really great view of the surrounding mountains and lake. -1 star for the location due to the difficulty to find it at night. There were no streetlights in the area so we didn't know there were footpaths and had to do the dangerous route via the vehicle road in pitch darkness. Dinner wasn't fantastic but is included in the stay. Breakfast was decent though :)"

"A premium hotel & hotspring in kinugagawa onsen,this hotel also is famous all over japan, because of superb hotspring creation made by a big rock,very new & romantic interior design especially in the lobby,w/ an luxurios chandelier,the outside view is amazing,the famous fureai bridge in kinugawa & river is in the front ,very nice autumn view outside,the room is big,but don't have a telephone & dresser,the food is superb but if you want to drink alcohol,you need to reserve from the front desk during check-in.Intagramable view inside & outside,but don't go here by walking with baggage because of the high stairs in fureai bridge,there's a shuttle bus but you need to pay 300yen.Overall,you can feel the scenic views even you don't go outside,Thanks always Trip.com for very nice booking,more power & God bless always"

"Cool and high-class ryokan hotel. Optimal location for exploring Nikko and surrounding attractions, excellent service, clean and cool onsen with a variety of creams, which can be bought right there in the souvenir shop. Great and varied dinner and breakfast, inexpensive drinks. We stayed for 2 days and 4 meals were different on the menu. It was nice to receive gift coupons for souvenirs and alcohol at the hotel. View of the mountain river right from the room. Girls can choose a yukata of the color they like for their stay in the ryokan. It's cool that for the entire stay in the ryokan you are assigned one maid who feeds you and sees you off and helps deliver your luggage - you feel like you are visiting friends. The staff is great - very attentive, but not intrusive. The downsides are the slightly tired room, but not lacking traditional chic, old curtains, cold light in the room (personally not very pleasant for me, I would advise the hotel to think about replacing the lamps with 3000 Kelvin). I highly recommend the ryokan, the guys are trying."

"Tobu Nikko Station and jr Nikko Station have shuttle buses, 1 hour. It feels more convenient. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the station to the hotel.
