This hotel is perfect for business trips. The flight information screen in the lobby shows real-time updates, so you don't have to keep checking your flight status. Both the public areas and guest rooms are well-maintained. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the Southern Fujian specialty dishes are authentic and delicious. The only downside is that the dining area is a bit small, so you might have to share a table during peak hours. Overall, the amenities are practical and thoughtful.

Airport Shuttle Service: The dedicated shuttle service for airport transfers makes getting around convenient and hassle-free. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about flight schedules.

Facilities: The overall facilities of the hotel are excellent. The art gallery on the upper floors is a unique feature. It would be even better if they had an executive lounge.

Environment: The lake view is decent, not particularly grand, but thankfully it's quiet. You can see the airport from the other side.

Service: The service was warm and attentive.

Cleanliness: No issues at all 👌🏻

Pros: The room was new and clean, with a stunning 180-degree sea view. Housekeeping staff were quick to respond and very friendly.

Cons: The breakfast quality was really subpar, and the management seemed completely disorganized. The food was awful; it didn't even come close to the quality you'd find at Marriott or Hilton properties at the same price point, or even lower. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, but the oyster omelet station was still empty at 7:17 AM, with the chef slowly preparing ingredients. I asked the omelet chef for a sunny-side up egg, and he didn't respond at all. He just silently scooped an egg onto my plate with a thump. I've never experienced such rude service at a hotel of this caliber. It felt like the breakfast staff and the room service team were managed by completely different people.

Upon landing at the airport, I was pleased to find that the hotel offers a pickup service. As soon as I contacted them, the driver called me right away to confirm my location – very efficient and great service! Since I arrived early, the hotel had complimentary facial recognition lockers for luggage storage, which was super convenient and quick. Knowing I was specifically there to capture photos of the soon-to-be-closed Gaoqi Airport, the hotel thoughtfully reserved a top-floor room for me, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was well-maintained, came with a mini-fridge, and was spotlessly clean – no trash or odd items lying around. They also included a free breakfast, which was extensive and delicious, featuring freshly made Shacha noodles that tasted wonderfully authentic. This hotel experience, right before Gaoqi Airport closes, was truly excellent! 👍

Traveling with my family, the bellboy promptly helped us with our luggage upon arrival. Yoyo at the front desk was incredibly gentle and attentive during check-in, and she diligently arranged our room according to our requests in advance, even presenting us with a welcome gift. The housekeeping staff was also excellent; anything we needed was delivered quickly, and the room was spotless. The breakfast restaurant staff was very considerate, carefully asking what kind of coffee we preferred, and the dining environment was quiet and peaceful.

I do have a few suggestions: When guests receive their room card, please remind them to turn on the air conditioning immediately upon entering the room (otherwise, it can quickly feel stuffy). Also, after guests check out, housekeeping should promptly check if any items were left behind (and proactively communicate with the guest if so). Finally, alarm clocks should be reset to their default settings. If not reset, it can disturb the next guest's rest (during our stay, the alarm clock went off twice in the middle of the night, disrupting our sleep). However, I must commend the hotel for quickly resolving the issue and for their sincere handwritten apology letter and a local souvenir from Xiamen. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

An ideal choice for families with young children, with impeccable attention to detail and unbeatable convenience!

This stay truly exceeded our expectations! First off, the room was incredibly spacious. What impressed me most was the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and bedroom – after putting the baby to sleep at night, we could comfortably wash up and pack our bags without worrying about disturbing them. This design is so thoughtful for families with kids.

The hotel amenities are also quite comprehensive. Not only is there a bathtub, but also a private pool, and our child absolutely loved playing in the water. Even better, the hotel is super close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Taking the kids to explore the beach and dig in the sand was incredibly convenient, and going back and forth multiple times a day was no problem at all. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious, satisfying both adults and children. All in all, it was an impeccable and delightful trip. Highly recommended with five stars, we'll definitely be back!

For this price point, this hotel offers incredible value for money. It boasts a massive 150-acre public area, which is quite rare for hotels in China. It's perfectly suited for families with children, and they even offer complimentary welcome fruit and a bedtime sweet soup. The details for family-friendly amenities are also very well done. However, the front desk staff who checked me in could use some more training, as they seemed a bit unfamiliar with the process. I also wish there were more dining options – that would make it absolutely perfect, haha!

The hotel has a simple yet cozy decor. The hot water supply is ample with good pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. The soundproofing is excellent, so it's very quiet at night. It's conveniently located near Baolong Yicheng and Wanda Plaza, making daily life easy. Highly recommended.

The hotel is clean and tidy, and its proximity to the airport makes it perfect for those with early morning flights. Their airport shuttle service is also a thoughtful touch, with timely reminders for guests. The front desk staff, especially the lady at the reception, was incredibly friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Portman Hotel, and the picturesque surroundings truly made our experience special. The views are simply stunning, creating a beautiful backdrop for our getaway. 

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There were plenty of activities available for both children and adults, ensuring that everyone had a great time. 

We especially loved the indoor pool area—it was a perfect spot to relax and unwind while still enjoying the hotel’s ambiance. Overall, Portman Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return for another memorable stay! Highly recommend it!

This hotel is really great! I honestly didn't expect such a good place at this price point. The room was much more spacious than I anticipated, and the decor was stylish, not just another cookie-cutter business style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. In the evening, I ordered some takeout to my room, and 'Huaxing' at the front desk had a robot deliver it super fast, which was a fantastic experience – perfect for someone like me who's on a business trip for several days. It's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town!

I'm a regular guest at Banyan Tree. Every time I come to Fuzhou for a business trip, I choose this hotel. Watermelon was super efficient during check-in; it only took two or three minutes, and she explained everything in detail, even offering me iced water. The fatigue from traveling in the hot weather instantly melted away. As soon as I arrived, a bellhop proactively helped me with my luggage, and knowing we were tourists, they even provided a hand-drawn guide to local attractions. Watching the sunset with a gentle breeze in the evening was incredibly relaxing. The room was also impeccably clean; not a speck of dust could be found even in the corners, and the bedding was so soft. Even someone like me, who struggles to sleep in new beds, got a full night's rest. The next day, I had an early meeting and wanted a late check-out. I called the front desk, and they agreed to extend it until 2 PM without any hesitation, no need for any extra persuasion. The breakfast variety was also extensive, including Fujianese snacks like Fuzhou delicacies, taro paste, beef brisket noodles, hand-grabbed pancakes, Jianbing Guozi, and Western pastries. The attention to detail is truly thoughtful. The hotel's facilities on the 3rd floor are also great. There's a pretty large children's play area, and it seems there's an outdoor one too; I'll have to try it next time I bring the kids for a vacation! Plus, it's close to the beach for tide pooling, and they even provide free sand-digging tools. In the evening, there are people singing at the restaurant, and you can also dine there. There are quite a few restaurants, actually three. You can also swim, work out, do archery, and even play curling – there are so many activities. Being close to the sea, a stroll along the beach is very romantic, and the park's scenery is beautiful with many trees. Highly recommended!

Very close to Hongqiao Airport's T1 terminal and the metro station, about a ten-minute walk away. Manager Chen upgraded my room, and it was very quiet. I had a satisfactory stay.
