I was in Hangzhou for business and decided to squeeze in a day of sightseeing. After checking out several hotels, I finally settled on the Hyatt Centric near West Lake. The location is absolutely fantastic, making it very convenient for getting around, easy to hail a taxi, and close to the subway, too.

The front desk staff's service was excellent. The front desk lady, Afra, was not only beautiful but also incredibly attentive and had a lovely, sweet voice. She's truly a gem, the prettiest face around West Lake!

In the evening, I enjoyed a cocktail at the first-floor restaurant. A handsome server even gave me some Mimi prawn crackers, which was a fun surprise! The next morning, I hit the gym for some fasted cardio; the gym was clean and well-maintained.

Overall, it was a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel boasts a modern, vibrant design with bright, cheerful colors. The rooms feature excellent soundproofing, comfortable bedding, and strong shower pressure. All facilities are so well-maintained they look brand new, and the entire place is impeccably clean, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay. It's perfectly situated in the heart of Jinshahu CBD, with a park right downstairs and within easy walking distance of a large shopping mall and the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for business, shopping, or leisure. My friend had always raved about the incredible value for money at this Hilton Garden Inn, and it certainly lives up to its stellar reputation! To enjoy international brand service quality and such a convenient location at this price point feels like an absolute steal. The value for money is truly exceptional! I can confidently say that the Hilton Garden Inn Hangzhou Jinshahu has become my 'go-to' hotel whenever I visit Hangzhou; it's now my top choice every single time! I wholeheartedly recommend it to every traveler visiting Xiasha!

Quite a convenient location within walking distance to White House. 
The hotel did not want to supply a kettle but finally did provide one as the phone in the room wasn’t working. 
The Italian restaurant there does serve some good food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Canopy in February. The employees were very friendly and went above and beyond excellent service. One of the front desk clerks went out of her way to help us when we got turned around because of some construction work. She actually stood outside to look out for us. We highly recommend staying at The Canopy! It was very clean and met our needs perfectly! Great location and we enjoyed being on the water. There is a shuttle stop just up from the hotel which made it easy to get around. We enjoyed walking around DC! We LOVED our stay!! Thank you to Patrick and the wonderful front desk folks as well as the friendly housekeepers! We’ll be back!! 🥰

Hilton’s Canopy is their offering, similar to Marriott’s W hotel chain. Newly built, it is located next to the Grand Front in Osaka. Can be difficult to find upon arrival at Osaka Station, but with a little patience, you will be rewarded as it can be a sanctuary away from the crowds.
