A truly excellent stay. We checked in quite late, but the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded our room for free! The environment and facilities exceeded our expectations, the hygiene was great, and the location was super convenient with a 7-Eleven and a massage parlor right outside. All in all, highly recommended!

The hotel is good overall, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were a few issues during my stay. The washbasin in the room had some problems, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the room was located far from the reception area, and I had to take a shuttle bus to get there, which made it less convenient when going back and forth. With a few improvements, this could be a great place to stay.

A decent option, with a fantastic location. It's just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and the pool is open 24/7 with plenty of sun loungers. The grounds are cleaned early every morning, keeping everything spotless. There are tons of restaurants, markets, and massage parlors nearby. The rooms are very spacious, though they haven't seen a renovation in a while, and have huge balconies on all sides. Room cleaning isn't great, but that's a tiny drawback. The staff are very responsive at any time of day. For a beachfront property, the price-quality ratio is simply amazing!

Let's start with the pros:
1.  Located in the Karon Beach area, the hotel has a relatively private beach. The beach is very clean and perfect for playing in the sand and water, suitable for both toddlers and older children.
2.  The hotel boasts several swimming pools of varying depths, making it ideal for families with kids.
3.  Overall, the hotel service is decent, with only a few exceptions.

However, there are also many cons:
1.  Aside from the one or two restaurants within the hotel, dining out in the central area requires a taxi ride starting from 200 Thai Baht, which means 100 RMB for a round trip. Walking takes over 15 minutes, and the steep slope leading to the hotel entrance is quite unsafe to walk on. Tuk-tuks don't feel very safe either.
2.  At 3500 THB per night for a twin room during Chinese New Year, the hotel feels quite run-down. While the hygiene is acceptable, the facilities are far behind what you'd find in high-end hotels or B&Bs in China. The toiletries are also very poor; you have to call to request toothpaste and toothbrushes. The bathtub was also very dirty.
3.  The breakfast isn't suited to Chinese tastes, and there are a lot of Indian tourists.
4.  The female duty manager at the front desk, Nicky, had a terrible attitude. She kept frowning every time I asked a question, as if I owed her money. She should be fired!
5.  They gave us the worst room, right on the edge (see pic P20). I don't know if it was discrimination or just a coincidence. I had specifically requested a room with a better view at the front desk, and clearly this room type is available in every building, yet they still gave me the worst one. It was during my complaint that Nicky started frowning impatiently.

This is hands down one of the best-located hotels in all of Phuket.

Perched at the northern end of Karon Beach, all the rooms are villas, spread out across the hillside, and each offers a full ocean view. The hotel has a private, easily accessible stone pathway leading directly to Karon Beach. It's not a difficult walk at all.

The restaurant, situated on a cliff, boasts a first-class view and impeccable service. It truly exemplifies that traditional Thai smiling service that makes you feel right at home. You can enjoy your meal while gazing at the sea – no need to chase after those trendy Instagrammable restaurants, this hotel fulfills all your dining expectations.

Of course, the villas with private pools are the absolute best. After a day of exploring and working up a sweat, you can return to your room, shed your clothes, and immediately jump into your own pool. The rooms are certainly spacious enough, the air conditioning is powerful, and with a private pool, private sun loungers, and a private courtyard, what more could you ask for?

The service is 10,000% top-notch; every single staff member is incredibly friendly. Upon check-in, all you need to do is download an app to call for any service with a single tap, from room service to arranging a taxi – it's all managed seamlessly. Finally, a huge thank you to the front desk staff for helping me recover my lost ID. My sincere gratitude goes out to all the hotel staff.

This villa is really great, and most importantly, it's very new – excellent value for money! The private pool, although small, is super clean. This price exceeded our expectations. Plus, the villa complex offers a-la-carte breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail drinks daily. There's a 7-Eleven right at the entrance, which is very convenient, and the beach isn't far either.

Definitely one of the best hotels to stay in Bangkok! This is my second stay here, with my previous visit less than 10 months ago, and it did not disappoint.

We were pleasantly surprised to find cute origami creations and a handwritten welcome card waiting for us in the room. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel valued as returning guests.

The biggest selling point is the location — the hotel sits directly above CentralWorld, making shopping, dining, and getting around Bangkok incredibly convenient. While the room rates may be on the higher side, the convenience easily justifies the price.

The breakfast spread is excellent with a good variety of choices. I was also impressed by the TV’s Wi-Fi connectivity — YouTube streamed smoothly without any lag. One unique feature I loved was the bathroom speaker system. Being able to play my favourite songs while soaking in the bathtub made the stay even more enjoyable.

Do note: the hotel collects a deposit of THB 2,000 per night. On a positive note, I was granted both an early check-in and a complimentary one-hour late check-out, which was greatly appreciated.

I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering this hotel. Book without hesitation! If you’re travelling on a budget, consider staying for at least one night and opting for the breakfast package. Don’t forget to use your Trip.com coins to offset part of your stay and maximise the value.

Located next to Pratunam Market. The shopping mall is on the ground floor, but the reception is on the 9th floor, which is inconvenient. Taxis have to take a long detour to reach the hotel, and even local Grab drivers seemed hesitant when driving in. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but it does have a small pond and sun loungers for sunbathing. The hotel is a bit dated, and most guests are Indian. Breakfast is mediocre, with limited choices and food that isn't hot enough. Shockingly, the coffee machine doesn't offer espresso and isn't fresh ground. The drinks are quite bland, and some are downright unpalatable. The only positives were the excellent air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. Overall, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

Hotel was very nice. Staff were friendly and cleanliness was very good. Room was spacious with a dining/ study table and office chair. Location of hotel was right beside Central Ladprao mall and a train station, and can be easily accessed through the link bridge that cuts through the carpark. Highly recommended!

The hotel was decent. There was a very enthusiastic bellhop who also spoke Chinese. The air conditioning was extremely loud.

A small anecdote: We arranged a 1-hour late check-out with the front desk. The lady said it was all set, but when we went back to our room, the key card still wouldn't work. So we went back to the front desk again. They said it was definitely fixed this time, but it still didn't work. It was very hot, and we didn't want to keep going back and forth to the front desk, so we asked a housekeeping staff member to call the front desk. The front desk said they would handle it immediately. After waiting five minutes, the housekeeping staff member was also gone. We had no choice but to go back to the front desk. Just then, the bellhop walked by. We explained our predicament, and he resolved it in an instant.

Next time, for front desk staff who can't even get the key card timing right, they should be the ones to come to the guest's room to sort it out, instead of making guests run back and forth.

Convenient for visa extension as directly connected to Government complex (Immigration) under one roof.  Front desk, housekeeping efficient and friendly.  Parking guard Gf was the opposite.  Told us to turn inside the building though we have informed him we booked into the hotel and made us going around for the first 2 floors only to find out all parking lots have been permanently blocked off.  Upon our distressed   final approach, we were told to go to 4f where bridged directly to the hotel building.  Otherwise, could have been a comfortable stay.

My daughter visited Centara Life Maris Pattaya this time and declared it “super fun!” 😍
What impressed her the most was the hotel’s water park, with its slides, fountains, and swimming pools, keeping her entertained in the water all day long without getting bored. 🌈💦

Another highlight for her was the 20 baht coin-operated games. 🎠💰

Overall, Centara Life Maris Pattaya is a great place for families and kids. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly, and there are endless activities to keep children entertained. If I get the chance, I will definitely bring my daughter back again. 💜

We chose a two-bedroom suite for our family trip to Pattaya. It was great, as the two rooms were connected and had three large beds, easily accommodating 5-6 people. Centara is a well-known company in Thailand, and the hotel's location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants right outside. Terminal 21 shopping mall is also only about a kilometer away. Aside from the slightly dated facilities, everything else was perfect. Even though there were many Indian guests, it didn't bother us at all.

Older hotel in a quiet location, good location if you’re mainly going to soi 6. Still close enough to city center with a short ride. Minibar in the room is nice.
