The hostel is riight in the middle of downtown Tokyo close to skyliner and Ueno metto station and park. Its a capsule -style hostel but also have regular bunkbeds depending on the floor. The best thing is the sauna and bath facilities with a nice lounge to relax amd th only con is the vecinity of the railway though I didnt notice any noise due to the l window

Great location at a good price.  It is next to lots of restaurants, bars, and other entertainment.  Still few blocks from Ueno station and close to lake for more a walk.
It will be noisy and full of bar girls and drunk people late at night.  There are two entey door cros and got confused but the door next to seven11 is not the one for checking in. (See picture)
Hotel room is very smaller than most hotel.

We were not informed until checkout that the lobby would be under construction on the last day of our stay, and that the hotel would have no room to store our luggage. As a result, we had to drag our things all over Tokyo, which was not a great experience. 
Besides this we had a pleasant stay with no other problems. Very convenient location and kind staff.

Staying here was good. Though for its price, the value is not at par. Rooms are too small. No free water and for the housekeeping, you need to inform them if you would want to clean up your room. Otherwise, they will not clean it. The location is good though, very near to the train stations. There are a lot of bar in the area.

The location is great. 3 mins walking to the nearest station. Many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The cleanliness is just acceptable. However they don’t make the beds and clean the room regularly, only throw the trash and change the towels, which is weird. The amenities are quite old and the room is smaller than expected. If you have two kids like us (one 9yo and one 5yo), maybe it’s better to rent 2 rooms.
The staff is supportive though, so I rated 4/5 because of the staff.
Anyway, if you want a great location to travel around on a budget, this is good. If you need a comfortable stay, should consider twice.

well located and generally clean, except for you, but well I think it must be difficult to keep clean with the number of people. there are not enough toilets for all the people. The bathrooms are clean, well appointed and airy. The beds are clean and comfortable. Negative point: all the lockers are located in one room, there is a lot of traffic in a room and some guests allow themselves to talk loudly while others are asleep. perhaps they feel that it does not matter since it is not their room

My recent stay at Centurion Hotel in Akasaka was overall quite enjoyable. The hotel offered excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location. However, the only downside was the absence of a full-length mirror in the room. 

The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. The room was tastefully decorated and provided a cozy atmosphere, with a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Is a bit noisy because is near the street.

While the bathroom was clean and well-equipped, the lack of a full-length mirror was a minor inconvenience. Having one would have made it more convenient to check outfits and appearances before heading out.

Despite this small drawback, I would still recommend Centurion Hotel  to fellow travelers. It's a great choice for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

The location is very good, many shops & restaurant nearby the hotel.

The service is good. Unlucky, the lift was damaged in the first day when we check-in.  The staff is very helpful to send our luggage to our rooms by stair.  Work hard!!

The room temperature is high as the capacity of A/C is small in such a big room.

I made a reservation on the day because a triple room with a semi-double room and sofa bed was available!
The room was quite small, so I couldn't spread out my carrier (T_T)
But the amenities were plentiful and very nice!
The welcome drink of sweet sake was also delicious!
The only drawback is that all the nearby parking lots are expensive.

First off, this location is a bit out of the way, if you intend to stay close to the downtown...you have to take the ”Portliner” a few stops.

No issue for me, but did not realize this when I booked.
I chose it because of the onsen / sauna, and I was very satisfied: this was the best sauna / cold tub I had in Japan (so far).

Was hotter (and colder) than anything else. The actual hot-tub was good too, but I focus on sauna ＞ cold tub cycles more than anything.

Rooms are new and look good, if not a bit small. As expected. 

Stay for a night if you are on the fence...use the onsen...have a coffee-milk afterwards. You'll feel great.

Rooftoop bar / restaurant was nice as well and very friendly staff!

For the price, this hotel offers great value. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the amenities are definitely a step above what you'll find in typical capsule hotels in Japan. The location is excellent and very convenient. There is also a cafeteria inside the hotel that serves a variety of reasonably priced food. I would recommend dining there if you're looking to save money, as many nearby restaurants are quite upscale and expensive. I stayed here during the summer, and unfortunately, there is no ventilation in the sleeping bunks like in some other capsule hotels. Despite the hallway air conditioning being on full blast, it was swelteringly hot inside my unit, and I only managed to get about three hours of sleep. Overall, I think this would be a nice, cozy place to stay in the winter, but I cannot recommend it for summer stays.
