The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from the [subway station/main commercial area/scenic spot], making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. When I checked in, the front desk staff were very warm and professional. They not only processed everything efficiently but also proactively offered recommendations for local specialty foods and transportation routes, which made me feel very welcome.

Pros:
- Location near Beimen station exit 3🟢 (3-5 mins walk) and Taipei Main station exit Y27🔴 (3-5 mins walk to gate + 12-15 mins walk to station)
- 7-11 is right beside the hotel, and Family Mart is opposite the hotel
- Laundry service is provided with reasonable price, collect within the same day
- Can order pineapple tarts (and other souvenirs) from hotel, no need to buy outside and carry it back
- Cleanliness is satisfying, nothing to complain
- Slippers are provided, but is disposable and very thin

Cons:
- Room is small, can barely open two 24” luggages, but need to be folded if you want to walk around
- Lightning is dim even after turning on all the lights in the room
- Toilet is fragile, cannot throw anything into the toilet bowl including toilet paper
- Bathroom is small and no hooks for holding clothes

Tips:
If you are going to Taoyuan Airport, enter via Taipei City Mall exit Y24, not Taipei Main Station exit Y27 (closed in early morning around 5am). If it is open, you still need to walk 12-15 mins to reach the express train station.

For those who from Taoyuan Airport, might exit via Taipei City Mall exit Y24 as well, near the gate right after tapping the card.

I expected high-quality customer service since this is a four-star hotel. However, I was disappointed from the moment I arrived. When I checked in, the staff member did not make me feel welcome at all. He had a poker face and didn’t greet me or offer any friendly interaction.

As for the room, I have no complaints—it was clean and comfortable. The location is also very convenient. Overall, the hotel has a great location and decent accommodations, but the customer service could be improved with better staff training.

This Hotel is a perfect choice, rooms are very spacious, bathroom is huge, location is great, it's close and easy to walk to Zongshan MRT station and this area has lots of great retail stores and restaurants , Taipei main station is walk-able around 1.2Km but if you are tired you will take a taxi, very convenient to take the express MRT from airport to Taipei main station in 35 minutes, there is a big supermarket right next to the hotel having very good stuff, there are a lot of 7 eleven and family mart stores around you, if you are a gym guy there are lots of 24h gyms near the hotel...also there is a 24h self service laundry store in front of the hotel....breakfast is great, I'm a egg lover guy and they serve perfect scrambled eggs, they also serve pineapples, passion fruit, home made yogurt and lots of good stuff, they have some Chinese items that you may not like, overall their breakfast is perfect....you can enjoy 24h free freshly brewed coffee at their lobby whenever you want and it's great....the only downside I noticed in their rooms is the lake of power outlets, there is only one row of power outlets on the front desk of the room, there are no outlets beside your bed or any where else which was really uncomfortable if you would like to charge your mobile or laptop while sitting on the bed.....sorry for my long review but I just enjoyed my stay there and wanted to share my experience in details

I arrived late and left early, the hotel was clean and had everything you needed for an overnight transit stay. The man at reception could have been a bit friendlier though. 

Also there was a very loud running water sound that lasted all night, I think either the plumbing or AC upstairs was making a strange noise. But after a while I didn’t notice the noise. 

The hotel helped me book a taxi back to the airport which was 200 TWD. It’s very close to the airport, it took 3 minutes by car in the morning. 

I didn’t try the breakfast.

My stay at City Suites Taoyuan Station was a great experience. The room was clean and tidy, and the twin room had enough space with comfortable beds. The location is very convenient to Taoyuan Station, and it's easy to find places to eat and catch transportation nearby. The staff were friendly and check-in and check-out were smooth. The overall environment was quiet, and the facilities met my needs. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Taoyuan.

The location is wonderful and it's less than 2 minutes walk to the LRT station. Room is just nice for 2 persons but it smells a little. Toiletries are upon request but the hotel is not charging and it makes so much sense.

Great location, 2 minutes walk away from the pier 2.   The culture shops in warehouses are 1 minutes away.   It is also right next to the international music center with beautiful architecture, as well as a park around.   Light rails and bus stops are also close by.   Great trail along the water way. The rotating bridge, the longest in Aisa rotates every day  3pm SHARP,  is right in sight.   Plenty restaurants and shops on the other side of the water way across the bridge.     Many noodle shops (at least 3) as well as convenient stores  are within walking distance.   The hotel room is relatively small, but cozy.  It is clean and has good layout inside.    The room has a good view of the street.  The hotel staff are also friendly, quite accessible and helpful, with one exception when one of the days it ran out of tooth paste, which is unreasonably expensive if you had to buy one in OK shop right next to the hotel.   The hotel provides a coffee machine with free ground coffee, very convenient if you want to grab a cup of Americano or cappocciino in the morning right out of the bed.   The hotel also provides laundry facilities in the basement with a washer and a dryer, even though the capacity is way over the amount of worn clothes in several days.  Had wished the hotel had a simple gym, well, I guess I have to do without this time.   Overall it has been a good staying experience.
