The room was clean and bright, and it was only a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station. Check-out at 11:00 AM was super convenient – just drop the room card into the machine. The self-service breakfast had freshly baked chicken wings and fried fish, vegetable salad, noodles, yogurt, and bread, all of which were quite tasty. There are many great restaurants nearby, and Nagoya Castle is just a 20-minute walk away.

The location is decent. Even though Nagoya Station is under renovation, it's very convenient once you find your way. I didn't see a toothbrush, probably downstairs. The room has a nice TV, and WeChat Pay is available. As an advocate for safe travel, I know Japan is much safer than my home country, and definitely hundreds of times safer than Russia or Cambodia, which are recommended by some. There's an upside though: no long queues for check-in when returning home, allowing me to enjoy unagi rice at Chubu Airport. Yabacho was still crowded, so I didn't bother to queue there.

Choosing the Fushimi Daiwa Hotel for my Nagoya trip was a great decision, the overall stay was incredibly hassle-free!

The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk to Fushimi Station. Whether it's taking the subway to Nagoya Castle, the Sakae shopping district, or catching the JR to Chubu Centrair International Airport, it's all very accessible. Plus, there are 24-hour convenience stores and Japanese izakayas nearby, so you don't have to worry about snacks or late-night meals.

The room, while not spacious, has a refreshing Japanese minimalist style. The storage design is incredibly thoughtful; I could open my suitcase without it taking up too much space. The bedding was just right in terms of firmness, so I slept very soundly. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and complimentary toiletries and pajamas were provided – excellent attention to detail.

The service was also very warm. The front desk staff communicated in simple English, check-in was quick, and they even proactively gave me a Nagoya sightseeing map with recommended routes. Every day before heading out, the housekeeping staff would clean the room spotlessly, even wiping away water stains from the table without a trace.

Breakfast mainly consisted of Japanese set meals, featuring freshly grilled salmon, tender tamagoyaki, and piping hot miso soup, accompanied by side dishes and rice. It was a light and comforting meal, perfect for starting a day full of energy.

If I visit Nagoya again, I'll most likely choose this hotel again. The value for money and convenience are simply unbeatable!

I really liked this hotel; it's small but very cozy and new inside. In the lobby on the first floor, you can grab Pola facial cleanser, lotion, and other toiletries as needed. The disposable toothbrushes are decent quality, and the toothpaste is good too. Nearby, there's a Don Quijote and a great yakiniku restaurant called 'Howmei'.

I stayed with the Roynet hotels before but this was my first time at this location. It’s a little further away compared to some other options closer to the hotel but it worked out well enough for me.

A small gripe is the ground floor elevator only services the check in lobby but it’s only a small delay with getting in and out of the hotel. I thought everything else about the hotel was great. 

At first I was worried about the road noise because it’s directly by the road. The road noise is audible during the day but I’m a light sleeper and the road traffic went down enough significantly during standard sleep hours that when I woke up I didn’t even realize I slept past my standard bedtime.

The amenities are standard like most hotels provide. I love the bed and pillows at this location. They weren’t too firm and not too soft. My neck was very happy.

I’ll definitely consider this hotel in the future.

The location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk from Shinsaibashi subway station. Shinsaibashisuji is right downstairs, making for seamless shopping. There are also ramen shops, convenience stores, and drugstores on the ground floor, so all your dining, drinking, and shopping needs are covered. The hygiene and service are also top-notch. My only gripe is the common issue with Japanese hotels: the triple room is just a modified double, so the space is very small, and there's no room to even open a suitcase. Other than that, it was great!

## Facilities
Our room was on the 14th (top) floor, which was great as it didn't get too hot from direct sun, and we could open the windows for fresh air. The ice machine and vending machine on the top floor were a fantastic amenity; drinks bought from the FamilyMart downstairs were so much more refreshing with ice in the evenings. The public bath on the second floor was fairly standard. Bathing clothes were changed daily, and each bath could comfortably fit 4-6 people, with five seated washing stations.

## Cleanliness
On the first day, a strong smell of smoke (or perhaps mold) hit us immediately upon entering the room, which was very uncomfortable for my sensitive respiratory system. I can confidently say it was the strongest smell I've encountered in a hotel in Japan. The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly either; there were hairs on the floor. The person cleaning our floor seemed to be of South or Central Asian descent. I don't mean to stereotype, but I have to say, Japanese service standards aren't quite what they were 10 years ago.

## Location & Environment
The JR station entrance is right outside, and you can access the subway through the same underground passage, which was incredibly useful during the 40-degree heat. However, I have to give a huge thumbs down for breakfast. The hotel doesn't offer its own breakfast; instead, they use the coffee shop next door. While the coffee was fine, we had to endure five days of truly awful toast, hot dogs, and waffles – they were genuinely unpalatable.

As a local Japanese chain, Daiwa Roynet is definitely a high-value-for-money choice. Their locations are usually very convenient, and the rooms are quite spacious and well-equipped. The room decor is a simple business style, and amenities like toiletries, skincare products, tea bags, and drip coffee are all provided. The room cleaning is thorough, and the self-service check-in/check-out machines make the process very convenient. Osaka can be quite noisy, but this branch in Kitahama is located in a quiet area with fewer people, which I prefer. Yet, there's no shortage of stylish restaurants around the hotel. It's also very convenient for getting to Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Kyoto, Kobe, and the airport.

The room size was decent, and I was pleased with the service. The hotel's location offers very convenient transportation: there's a bus stop right outside, and both Kintetsu and subway stations are just a few minutes' walk away. Kintetsu Department Store is diagonally across the road. Right opposite the hotel, Yoshinoya is handy for dinner, and there's also a drugstore nearby. On a small side street, an Aeon store offers bentos, fruits, and more. It's only two subway stops from Shinsaibashi, and Nipponbashi is just a 10-15 minute walk away.

This hotel is good location, it near metro yotsubashi line - you can walk to the station (Y14 yotsubashi station or Y13 hommachi station) 
And around hotel area have good place: Mel roaster-Good coffee shop. , Midway bar- in launch they sell rice with curry. It so delicious. , The Fresh market- have a good fresh strawberry. , and front of the hotel have public park.

✅ The hotel is right at the entrance of Makishi Station, making its location absolutely superb. It's a 1-minute walk via an overhead bridge, so you barely even need to be in the sun – super convenient!
✅ Downstairs, there are two convenience stores and a large supermarket. All sorts of dining options are available nearby, with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
One evening, we went to explore the big supermarket and found many discounted items. We bought sushi, rice balls, salad, yogurt, milk, and drinks – all very affordable.
✅ The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Although the bathroom wasn't a three-piece separation, it didn't feel cramped, and all the toiletries were provided.
✅ From 1 PM to 9 PM daily, the lobby offers complimentary iced drinks, including coffee, tea, and juice. It was so refreshing to come back after a day out in the summer heat and grab a drink.
✅ Breakfast was plentiful. We specifically woke up early one day to enjoy it, and they even had takeaway service afterwards!

Conveniently located, about a 10-minute walk from the station after taking the Yui Rail monorail from the airport. However, it's about 2 kilometers to Kokusai Street, which is a bit of a distance to walk, costing around 800 JPY by taxi. The biggest advantage is its proximity to DFS; you can just wake up and go shopping. There's also a mall directly across the street, making dining very convenient. There are two Daiwa Roynet Hotels Premiere nearby, so when taking a taxi, tell the driver it's the one with a 7-Eleven downstairs. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and skincare samples. If you need room cleaning, you must place the cleaning sign on your door before 10 AM; otherwise, cleaning service won't be provided. The bathroom features a three-part design with a bathtub. Overall, the location is good – quiet yet central – and it's very clean and comfortable.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the annex rooms are very new, with a 7-Eleven right downstairs. It's very close to the Prefectural Office Station, and Kokusai Dori is also within walking distance. The room size isn't small for Japan; you can open two suitcases. However, the service is mediocre because the front desk is usually unattended for self-checkout, making it hard to find help when needed.

The hotel room was quite spacious, and you could pick up amenities like toothbrushes and facial cleansers from the lobby. Breakfast on the top floor was delicious and offered great views. The location is very close to DFS, which is convenient if you've booked a day tour, as you can choose the DFS pick-up point instead of going all the way to Kenchomae, which is usually much more crowded. For those sensitive to cigarette smoke, definitely avoid smoking rooms. We accidentally booked one, and the smell was quite strong. Luckily, the hotel had availability and moved us to a non-smoking floor for our last two days 🙏
