The location is fantastic - there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as metro station, bus and tram stops, plus a bus to the airport.
We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of food. The view from the 18th floor was fine, and the blackout curtains did an excellent job of blocking out the light. I could not hear any traffic noise from the road.
A one-time afternoon tea was included in the booking. There is also a little station in the lobby where you can make DIY cards using the stamps.
One thing we missed was some focused lighting near the head of the bed, such as bedside lamps. It would also be nice to have a full-length mirror in the room, perhaps on the outside of the bathroom door.
The staff were polite and helpful, and they assisted us with calling a taxi on a rainy morning. We also appreciated the fact that no deposit was required.
The air-conditioning system looks rather unusual. On the first night, we found it difficult to fall asleep because of the noise, but after that we adjusted to it, and it no longer bothered us.
We had no complaints about the overall cleanliness of the room, and housekeeping was provided daily. The only thing that disappointed us slightly was that the bathtub did not appear to have been cleaned during our six-night stay. The toilet was always clean and well maintained, but when two people use a bathtub regularly for almost a week, residue builds up quite quickly and requires proper cleaning products. We would therefore suggest paying a little more attention to cleaning the bathtub as part of the daily housekeeping.
Apart from that, we had no complaints. We enjoyed my stay, would happily stay here again, and would recommend the hotel to others!

Great location, close to the subway station, with many famous restaurants just a few streets away. Had three meals nearby and all of them were delicious. I was mentally prepared for the small room size typical of Hong Kong hotels, but actually found it quite acceptable. First, the front desk graciously upgraded us to an 18-sq-m room for free, and second, the high ceiling made the space feel larger and not oppressive. The bedding and towels were very clean and smelled nice—no bed bug issues like many reviews mentioned—and they even provided two small bottles of complimentary water. (Stayed on the 12th floor for reference.)

The staff at the front desk and luggage storage were all very polite and helpful.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would consider returning if the price is right.

PS: The hotel's atrium area looks just like the Backrooms lol.

The hotel has a fantastic location, very close to the Tin Hau MTR station. Trams are just a few steps away, and there is an abundance of food options all around. For Hong Kong, it's rare to find a room this spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was clean and hygienic, with complimentary bottled water provided. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the afternoon tea was also great with plenty of snacks. The sightseeing lounge on the 30th floor is great for taking amazing photos, offering a wide selection of teas and beverages, plus a kids' play area. All in all, choosing Empire Hotels was a spot-on decision for our two-night stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again given the chance.
