My stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was generally comfortable, though there are a few things to note. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many eateries nearby, and several train lines within a short walk, making it easy to travel to any part of New York City. The neighbourhood felt safe overall, despite a shooting incident that took place nearby during our stay.

The room itself was not super clean, and it contained several exercise equipment items, which may not suit everyone. While the concept is unique, it made the room feel a bit cluttered.

That said, the hotel’s surroundings and accessibility remain its strongest points. It is a practical option if you value convenience and easy access to transport and food choices.

Excellent location! The UN, Times Square, and Empire State Building are all within easy walking distance. For Manhattan, the room size was quite generous, easily accommodating two large suitcases. The dining area is compact but impeccably clean and well-maintained. Breakfast selection is limited, but everything is beautifully prepared and delicious. They also have an outdoor terrace with comfortable sofas, perfect for enjoying the warm Manhattan sun. There's a car rental agency directly across the street, which also doubles as a Zuzuche pick-up point – a massive convenience!

Located in a relatively safe Chinese neighborhood.
There are Chinese restaurants nearby, like Heytea.
Subway stations are a 5-minute walk in both north and south directions.
There's a vending machine for drinks and snacks on the first floor.
Rooms facing the highway are quite noisy.

This hotel definitely deserves a five-star review! The ambiance is elegant and peaceful, and the laundry room and gym facilities are fully equipped and sparkling clean. The room gets great natural light, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the toiletries are top-notch. I especially loved the aromatherapy lamp by the bed, which was a unique touch. Mina provided exceptional service – she was so warm and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast offers a great mix of Western and Chinese options, and the made-to-order station was a huge plus. The location is also convenient, being close to the subway station, which made getting around super easy. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. Highly recommended!

This hotel is the top choice for events at the exhibition center. The location is excellent, and as a new hotel, it's very clean. Seven at the front desk provided fantastic service; I bothered her many times, and I apologize for that. The breakfast is not just a perfunctory offering; it's definitely worth eating, and the pastry chef is very skilled. I'll stay here again next time.

On the downside, the sliding bathroom door is outside the sink area, which is a bit awkward. The side facing the elevated highway gets a lot of sun and is a bit noisy. With the windows closed, it's only marginally acceptable. The hot/cold air conditioning switch is very inflexible. The two beds in the twin room are a bit too close together, likely to make space for yoga (which feels pointless), resulting in very little bedside table space, making it hard to place things.

Very pleased with my stay in this hotel. Requested early check-in if it was available, and the staff were able to check me in at around 11am, and even upgraded to a bigger room. The room was very spacious and clean, with good lighting. The toiletries (shampoo, body soap etc) were amazing, I really loved the scent, it was very relaxing. I extended my stay by one night, and the staff were also very kind to let me stay in the same room. I stayed here to attend a concert at Mercedes-Benz Arena, and it was an easy 10-15 minutes walk to the venue. The China Art Museum metro Station was also very accessible which makes it easy to go to other parts of the city. I tried the breakfast buffet on one of the mornings, it was affordable (88yuan) and had a variety of local and western breakfast foods.

The hotel was fantastic!

Firstly, the location is superb. It's very close to Chadianzi Metro Station, and getting here from both Tianfu and Shuangliu airports only requires one transfer. Most major attractions are within a 30-minute taxi ride.

Secondly, the surroundings are a big plus. The hotel's 4th floor provides direct access (via room key) to the adjacent Tianjie Shopping Mall. Our child loved visiting the mall daily to pick up a blind box, and the area around the hotel is very lively.

Finally, the service was excellent. Any issues we encountered were resolved promptly, and we even received a complimentary room upgrade. The facilities were also top-notch.

Overall, this hotel left us with a wonderful impression of our Chengdu trip. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Opened in 2025, under the InterContinental Hotels Group, and seeing all 5-star reviews, I decided to check it out.

1. The front desk service was quite good. Arriving at 1:20 AM, I received an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. They asked if I was a member and told me to leave my phone number and email address so they could check my records – very thoughtful. However, there was no response regarding check-out.

2. I was woken up by loud construction noise upstairs around 8 AM. I called the front desk three times, and on the third call, they finally agreed to move me to a room on the 19th floor. Thank you! At 9:21 AM, I was in my new room when the receptionist knocked, thought no one was home, and came in. I was still standing at the door when she said she thought the room was empty.

3. The front desk gave me a small gift upon check-out, which I appreciated. However, a plush toy and a plastic cup really felt like this was the standard for service at InterContinental Hotels Group.

Stepping into the room yesterday, I was immediately struck by how bright and airy it was. A fresh spring breeze was wafting in through the partially open window, making the air feel wonderfully clean. The pillows offered great support, and I woke up without any neck pain. The whole atmosphere just makes you want to stay for several more days. From now on, whenever I'm in this area, this will definitely be my go-to place.
