The front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful! The hotel's location is super convenient with great transportation links. There are food streets all around, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. It's also really easy to get around by subway.

Given its prime location, you can't expect both spaciousness and a cheap price. The value for money is decent.

However, the room felt stuffy and relied solely on the air conditioning, which created a stale smell, as if it had been closed up for a long time. I had to keep the AC on low. I'm unsure about the cleanliness of the duvet; my legs were incredibly itchy for the first half of the night. It only got better after I turned the AC much lower in the latter half.

One of the pillows had a strong, hard-to-describe oily head smell. There was also a noticeable accumulation of dust in some corners.

The service throughout was genuinely cold. Despite my fluent Japanese, there wasn't a single smile, which is quite unusual for Japan. Perhaps working in Ginza is truly exhausting. They didn't mention the complimentary beer and coffee that was advertised on Ctrip. Ms. Akiko at the front desk, this kind of service really isn't acceptable in the hospitality industry. If you feel so wronged by your job, maybe you should find a different one.

This hotel was recommended to me by a colleague. It's very close to Senso-ji Temple, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are also many izakayas and two or three large supermarkets nearby, one of which is open 24 hours, making daily grocery shopping very easy. Considering its location and price, the overall value for money is excellent.

I arrived at Haneda Airport on a 5 AM flight, and the Keikyu Line took me directly to Asakusa, so I was at the hotel by about 7 AM. Since I couldn't check in yet, I left my luggage at the front desk and then enjoyed a nice breakfast near the hotel. The whole arrival process was very smooth, making it an ideal first night's stop for tourists visiting Japan for the first time and who might not be familiar with the local area.

A special note: During my 5-day stay, I didn't encounter any front desk staff who could speak Chinese. The English spoken by the Japanese staff was also difficult for me to understand. My check-in was handled by a Filipino staff member, and I could understand her English a bit. Also, the QR code in the last picture is for registering as a hotel member, which allows for an hour earlier check-in.

The hotel is conveniently located next to JR Tamachi Station, about a five-minute walk, which isn't too far. From Tamachi, you can walk to Tokyo Tower in about 20 minutes, which is quite handy. The hotel environment is also quite good.

This hotel in Myeongdong is super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Myeongdong, Cheonggyecheon Stream, and the palaces – you can just walk everywhere. The room fit three small beds nicely and had a Japanese-style feel, plus a bathtub. While the room was a bit small, it was well-equipped. The soundproofing wasn't great, though, as I could hear noisy kids from the next room at night.

The breakfast was excellent, delicious and plentiful.

The 11th-floor lobby had plenty of luggage lockers, which was very handy.

After staying at a few hotels in Korea, I've noticed that if check-in is 3 PM, it's strictly 3 PM. I arrived at 2:50 PM, and the front desk staff told me I'd need to sign up for a membership card to check in an hour early.

I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so here are some pictures of the surrounding attractions instead.

Excellent location! It's away from the hustle and bustle, yet incredibly convenient for transport. You can get directly to Taipei 101, Taipei Main Station, the National Palace Museum, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and famous food streets.
